DOUBLE ROOM with breakfast. Our stay at DG prestige was a lovely place in a great location, with lots of bus route to get around the city, and the underground METRO nearby in case you needed it. The breakfast was decent, room (including the bathroom) was clean and tidy. Maria made our stay extra special, serving us a tea/coffee during breakfast, and always checking with us if we needed anything. The restaurant downstairs (IL Fiammifero Strano) have plenty of options on their menu, and are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions as best as possible. There is also a minimarket, pharmacy, and bank ATM's nearby, if you need them.

Comparing the 2 rooms booked between us and our friends, the A/c was cooling at minimum on the highest setting, and the fridge was not working in one of the rooms. It could be a case of simple maintenance as these amenities were working perfectly in the other room. The locker in the cupboard was not functioning either, so I'd recommend making provisions in case something needed to be kept under lock and key. The above would not deter us from booking a room at DG prestige again in the future.

Very nice, clean room with good breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room has a desk with a couple of chairs which we found useful.

There was a kettle in the room but it did not have any mugs or tea/coffee, so it would be nice if that could be provided (I am not sure if that was an oversight). There is a steep hill to climb to reach the property, which was ok for us but may be difficult for some people.

Maria was a great host! She is really an angle. The value for money is good. Good location close to the Spanish stares but far from the colosseum.

The ecological system in the toilet makes noise every time you use it. The walls are thin so you can hear noise from the lobby. We used ear plugs and it was OK.

We arrived late and the electronic key worked really well. And Maria was a great help for breakfast. The location was close to a great little grocery store and the amazing park!

I missed how to ask for a room make up the 2nd day. I was o.k. with one day of no service when we were exhausted and new. I would have liked a room make-up the 2nd day, but didn't figure out how to communicate that.

The hotel was in a perfect location within easy walking distance of all the sights but quiet with plenty of restaurants nearby & just a hop from the Borghese park. The security was excellent via 3 locked doors but it was easy to access at any time of day or night & we were given special digital instructions to access on first arrival as we had to check in out of hours due to the time of our flight. the staff couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. Breakfast was great. The room wasn’t massive but perfectly adequate given that we were really only in it to sleep, & it was spotlessly clean & well furnished & decorated. The price was good compared with other hotels in central Rome.

I really have nothing to criticise except that the bed was a bit hard for me personally, but I put a blanket under the sheet for more padding & then it was fine. The water in the shower didn’t stay hot for very long, but it was hot weather so that didn’t really bother us.

Maria the host was the most welcoming host we could’ve hoped for. We were welcomed in a beautiful room, with everything we needed: hair dryer, air conditioning, wifi, food, cold water and sweets. Room was very tidy, beautiful and decorated in a classic italian style.

There was nothing to complain about. Maria made sure we had everything we needed

Beautiful, quiet, safe location away from the crowds yet walking distance to the Colosseum and public transportation. Maria (proprietoress) was a gem - always greeting us with a warm smile at breakfast and hugged us when we left. She was generous and kind and worked hard to ensure that everyone felt cared for and welcomed.

We were informed via the Booking that we would owe 28 euros in city tax but it cost 40 euros instead. Thankfully we had enough euros on hand.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming and our room was very clean, and it is very well located(within walking distance) near the main attractions of Rome. The breakfast options were tasty and sufficient. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and also had a bidet. I would definitely come again.

The building is old, but everything is refurbished and working fine, including a very nice vintage elevator. Around you can find food, coffee and wine! 3. The room is not so spacious but it has everything you need to shower and rest from an intense day of walking around the city. The bed is great! Very comfortable, there is a minifridge and even a TV. The bathroom is not luxurious but it does the job pretty well. 4. The staff is awesome. Extra points to Bogdan for being an excellent host, explaining everything so clearly and giving us special attention, the one you will not receive at a hotel. He accommodates for special dietary needs, makes himself available at any time of day or night to manage an issue (we didn’t have any) and he went down to the street to call a cab for us when we couldn’t get one. A real star, this guy!

The air conditioner could have been a little more potent. Not a big issue for spring, maybe for summer.

We had the pleasure of spending 3 days in Rome at this great place. Location is good and relatively close to attractions. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Maria, our hostess, made us feel like we were at home. Great fresh breakfast was a good start each day to our adventures in Rome. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this location for a memorable stay. Thank you Maria.
