This is a gorgeous 5-star hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are over the top. The staff is dedicated and helpful in every way. The location is perfect for me, I love that area. I have stayed there several times and definitely will be back. It’s worth every penny..The rooftop bar is fabulous at sunset and anytime. .

We were upgraded to a suite that was fantastic !

We were charged Euro 80 for bottle of wine that we did not consume !We reported it to Reception but the charged our card after we left This is shocking! Also our coffee cups were not washed

Beautiful hotel; room was large and spacious; bathroom of the highest quality and AC working perfectly.

Fact that breakfast was not included in the room rate. It was also confusing with a buffet and a menu. Quality of buffet was average.

Starting from the Concierge service ending with the Mirabelle Restaurant in the Hotel and with the amazing suite. We loved our staying. Food in the Micheline Restaurant is divine

I had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable nights at Hotel Splendide Royal, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt as if I had been transported into a world of timeless elegance and intimacy. The room was beautifully designed—spacious, refined, and filled with small details that made it feel personal rather than just luxurious. Waking up to the soft light coming through the windows and the view of Rome’s greenery was something truly special. What really stood out, however, was the atmosphere of the hotel itself. It’s not just a place to stay—it feels like being welcomed into a historic Roman residence where every corner tells a story. The staff carried themselves with a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, making me feel genuinely cared for during my entire stay. Breakfast on the terrace was an experience of its own: sitting above the rooftops of Rome, sipping coffee, and watching the city slowly come alive beneath the morning sun. It was magical in every sense of the word. Two nights here felt both too short and perfectly complete—a retreat full of beauty, calm, and a touch of romance. Hotel Splendide Royal didn’t just host me; it gave me memories I will carry with me for a very long time.

The room size, design, features, and the roof tup restaurant has a nice view of rome city.

One of the reception staff was disrespectful

Quiet ,peaceful ,elegant . Well located , lovely rooftop restaurant ,super coffee area .My suite was super ,elegant Art Deco bathroom with great products .Very comfortable bed .No view but when in Rome it is sometimes good not to overload .Immediate response when taxis were required Large walk in wardrobe with sufficient hangers ,quite unusual attention to detail . Extremely unusual to stay somewhere at the level of my own home abd that feels so welcoming .

The hotel upgraded our room upon arrival which was so greatly appreciated as well as had our room ready within 30 minutes of arriving mid morning. Usual check-in is after 2pm so this was so wonderful. We got settled and then went on a tour of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica The Splendid also had a bottle of champagne chilled in our room for our Anniversary which we enjoyed that evening. How thoughtful. Everyone was so welcoming especially the doormen. Just a pleasure leaving and coming back to the hotel after long days of tours. Even took a last picture before heading to the airport on our last morning with Doorman Remeggio who was so proud of his Roman heritage and bellman Stephano. Damiano is another name to remember. Plus they were so proud to work at the Hotel Splendide Royal. It showed every moment we arrived and departed through the front door. A young man named MamaMo from Senegal welcomed us early in the morning with coffee and the biggest smile and so happy to see us and make sure we got a taxi for our tour to Tuscany. We were the only ones in the lobby and at the end of his shift, he couldn't have started our day off with a more positive attitude. I wish I could take the housekeepers home with us. Our room was immaculate. Plus the hotel is so close to the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, Via Veneto. Talk about seeing and being seen and designer shopping to your heart's content. What a place to walk around day or night. It was an exhilarating experience. The area is so safe to walk around--as seniors we felt so secure everywhere. Just can't say enough about how wonderful everyone was and how beautiful the hotel is. It is definitely "Splendide"!!! Check out the rooftop bar and Michelin rated restaurant, Mirabelle. Views of the entire city and 5 star cuisine.

Softer pillows.

Welcomed on Friday night with a glass of Champagne, room huge, clean and more importantly, you could open window for fresh air without road noise. The staff at this hotel are naturally relaxed but efficient and make you feel special from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Great breakfast and the mirabelle restaurant food was just sublime. Throw in the cocktail bar on the eighth floor and you have the perfect stay in the perfect location.

Rooms are spacious, beautiful furniture, bathroom luxurious and spacious with a wide window, amenities from Acqua di Parma, fluffy towels. Staff from doormen, reception and restaurant all fantastic and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Even though is a reduced selection, the quality of the products was high standard, with Prosecco and wine included. The views are stunning over Borghese and Vatican from far. Service also outstanding. I found so relaxing having my breakfast at Mirabelle. Location is premium, you can find nice restaurants and shops around.

Mattress was hard for my taste.
