I am simply delighted with this hotel. The biggest plus - the very nice staff. I travel quite often, so I often sleep in hotels, but I have never known such wonderful employees in a hotel. I am delighted with them (a message to the hotel owner - by hiring the current staff you won the lottery). The hotel is in the heart of the most important tourist attractions in Rome. Very close to everything. Within reach we have the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and a bus stop literally 100 meters from the hotel, which will take you to the Vatican without a problem. The hotel itself - won my heart - beautiful from the outside and inside, elegant and everything perfectly chosen. I had a room for 3 people, so it was really big. The room was really ok - clean, large, warm. The breakfasts were really good. From the hot dishes there was always scrambled eggs and bacon. Rolls, two types of ham, salami and cheese. Cakes, rolls, really great breakfast. Definitely sufficient. I am so delighted with this hotel that I will not even look for another hotel for my next visit to Rome. I am booking this one right away! Hotel Hiberia was very clean and Raphael at the front desk was THE BEST welcoming, kind, informative, and a great representative for the hotel. Location was perfectly placed in between the iconic historical sites. Breakfast was very good and filling with a nice selection of breakfast food, missing oatmeal but overall good! Loved the old elevator and the quaintness of the hotel.

More places to put luggages on - bench, luggage rack, or tables in rooms

Perfect location for seeing all the sites. Did have the breakfast . We had a great room with a view of Rome. Love the fact that the hotel is in a 600 year old building. Awesome

The location is superb, very close to the city center. The room was very spacious and perfectly clean. Great breakfast was served in the adjacent restaurant, where I also tried lunch and dinner and both were excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful.

A bit of a walk to the closest metro station.

Excellent staff - friendly, welcoming and polite; really quick, smooth check in and check out; very safe area; excellent location - walking distance to all the main sights; very clean hotel. We felt right at home there. There is a cafe directly across the road too for all your caffeine needs! I would definitely stay here again. TIP 1: ask for a room away from the street when booking; our room was at the front of the hotel; given hotel is on a busy street, traffic could be heard most of the time, including into the night. TIP 2: our button to flush the toilet needed a little coaxing!! Just press it in and out a few times and give it a very quick final push and then the water from the upper cistern will flow!

Was welcome at the door and assisted by Raffaele who was very warm and helpful. He checked-in for us and explain the position of the hotel vs the various attractions on their map. Map was then given to us. Staff at breakfast area was very courteous and friendly.

Toilet area was very cold as compared to the room. Would prefer an exhaust fan in the toilet area. But I suppose it depends on the building code.

Hotel was located close enough to walk to lots of the main tourist attractions. It had a very good restaurant next door which we ate in a couple of times. Rooms were spacey and reasonably modern. Staff were fantastic, so very helpful. Patrick on Reception is a credit to his company, so courteous and helpful.

Nothing really. Accommodation was perfect for our trip. Just as a sideline, we were were ripped off by the taxi driver from the Termini station. Ensure the meter is turned on when you get into the car or get out.

Centrally located! It is a quick 15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. Lots of other sites near by. Less than an hour walk to the Vatican which we easily did. Soo much to see along the way! Room was a nice size. It was warm but you could open windows. Rome is a nosey city soo have to close at night. The shower was hot and pressure was great!!!

Breakfast offered is really not worth it. Minimal offering. It’s not bad just… a Continental Breakfast. Not worth paying the extra my opinion.

The customer service, communication and attention to our comfort was impeccable. In addition our hotel is within walkable distance to all the sights of Rome. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel was wonderful. This is also where breakfast is served in the morning. We paid for the breakfast with our room and it was great. We stayed in the comfort quadruple room for 4 of us. It was wonderful. Bathroom was very nice. Water was hot for each of our showers. I would highly recommend this place for a central location and helpful staff in Rome.

The air conditioning works, however we felt that it didn’t feel it cooled our room down enough.

The location was a short walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum & the bus stop to Vatican City. A few blocks from the Italian president’s home. Safe area.

The AC did not turn on even though it was advertised. We had to sleep with the window open & heard the seagulls chatting all night long as they perch themselves on the ledge & neighboring roof. The elevator was not operational often because guests did not close the iron door when departing. Many times we had to walk up to the 4th floor. Although we enjoyed the old elevator, it was bothersome that guests couldn’t follow the directions & close the door allowing all guests to ride up & down.
