The view from any location inside and outside of the hotel was breathtaking. Simply amazing views of Tuscany you see on postcards. Waking up to these views as the fog is lifting from the Tuscan hills...wow!!! The staff was also extremely polite and welcoming.

The toilette was dirty - especially the shower. Things can be less maintained and older, and I can fully understand that (maintaining that big estate can be expensive), but there is no excuse for not cleaning in the way it should be cleaned. Attached are photos of shower...I believe they speak for themselves (as a contrast adding also the photo of a view from the room).

The beautiful young lady who was our hostess was so delightful and informative. She was so knowledgeable about the area and happenings on in the town. Her family owned the hotel and it was so refreshing to see someone that passionate about her job, family and the town! Free parking is always a bonus and same with the lovely complimentary breakfast served. Our rooms were nice, clean, and very spacious! Beds were great and showers were all functioning, etc as well as the place was impeccably clean!

We would have a given perfect score, except the A/C was not functioning. The family did hire a technician to fix several of the A/C units but didn't get to ours in time unfortunately. We were really looking forward to A/C as the last few nights in Florence we were suffering with the heat wave as our BnB there also had zero A/C. Other then that, it was a lovely stay and we would return 100! (but maybe in cooler weather as we did arrive during a Heat Wave!). We just had bad luck!

The bed was comfortable and check in was easy. The hotel was easy to locate. Coffee and croissants were appreciated in the morning.

We upgraded our room for a private terrace with mountain and garden views. The terrace needs to be better defined as private. We had other guests sitting at the table chatting and having coffee early the first morning. Others chose to sit there as we headed out the next day. The view of the mountains is better from the general sitting area or from an upper, not ground floor room. Though we appreciated the air conditioning, it is a portable unit requiring the discharge hose to be out the window to cool the room. With other guests within a couple feet of our room, we felt uncomfortable. A few changes regarding these concerns would definitely elevate our review to 5 stars.

I really liked this atmospheric hotel. The view from the terrace to the hills is beautiful, the air is fresh. Special thanks for the fact that breakfast was organized, although there was no such option when booking. Quiet peaceful place. The room was clean. The guests were calm, so I managed to get enough sleep, although the audibility in the room was good). The city center is within walking distance. The receptionists were very nice and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. If I'm in Siena again, I'll definitely stay here.

The hotel is outside the city walls, and you have parking on site. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly, they provide you with any information and to get to the center of town it only takes 20 min on foot or by bus even less.

Our shower in room L only had half of the door, so it was a bit awkward to have shower in it.

This is a charming, small hotel (it has only about 20 rooms), set just outside the city gate of Siena on a hillside with beautiful views across the surrounding valleys. The staff could not have been more helpful, with lots of advice on what to visit and where to eat in Siena. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Piazza del Campo, which forms the central hub of the lovely old town.

Our room was on the top (second) floor with no lift - but the staircase was very wide and so getting suitcases up to the room was not a problem.

The view from the room and the terrace was amazing! Also the receptionists where very friendly, helped with calling taxies, gave us many sightseeing-tipps and made sure everything was good.

In the morning (~8:30) it started to get very loud from other guests and the cleaning stuff. Also the hotel was hard to reach by Bus.

Very cute place with yard, parking and fantastic landscape! Comfortable and clean room. Really was surprised with completely automatic check-in. We are late, the hotel staff sen us link for registration and video, how to find the room and keys. Strongly recommended!!!

Private parking. Astonishing Panoramic view. Room sizes and bed! Towels very absorbent. Breakfast outside.

Breakfast is poor of options and dry croissants. Coffee from automatic machine not really good. Not a single baby chair.

The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. I slept like a baby. The view outside is amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast outside with a view of the Tuscan countryside. Just perfect. I recommend.
