We been staying at the property 3 days over Palio celebration. Location - can't be better, in the middle of everything, 5 min walk to Piazza di Campo and Duomo. And we can return home easily to have a rest during the day to recharge for evening activities. Area is with limited traffic access, but our host have organised us permission to enter the area to get to hotel door, helped to unload luggage and took our car to the parking, arranged for us. Both Duchio and Cintia were wonderful, gave us lot's of information and explanations about Palio. organise Airconditioning unit which kept our room cool in +38 degree heat. Property itself is in the antic building and full of period features. If we ever get back to Siena, we will not be looking for another accommodation.

Can't think of much. For me, bed was a bit too hard, but it is a matter of taste and I like soft bed. Everything else was very good.

Perfect location, close to everything and quiet. The view was incredible: the window faces a little valley with lots of trees and birds. You can see far into the Tuscan countryside and in the morning, you wake up with the songs of birds. The breakfast is great with lots of options. The room was spacious, clean with lots of storage space. The bathroom is also big with a large shower, which is a rare thing in Italy. The B&B is located on the first floor, so we had very few stairs to climb. The interior is also gorgeous with lots of vintage furniture. The owner, Duccio, is exceptionally kind and generous. He was very helpful on the day of our departure. We stayed 4 nights but we wished we had stayed longer. If we ever come back to Siena, we will definitely come here again.

The room was spacious with an unbelievable shower. We had a view of the old city wall and surrounding countryside. The breakfast was amazing even making omelets for breakfast. The refrigerator was full of all sorts of drinks and the host even provided us with a bottle of wine. The location was amazing and provided easy access to all the attractions. While there were many flights of stairs, the hosts managed our suitcases for us which was a major relief. Coming soon an elevator is being constructed which will remove the discomfort of the stairs.

The only thing I can think of are the stairs but we managed.

Cinzia and Duccio couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They really wanted us to enjoy our stay at their accommodation and the area. The accommodation is in a very good location for access to everything, including access to a laundrymat only 100 metres away. Really liked the room, with a nice view out of the large windows.

Just be aware that you are staying in shared accommodation i.e. there are multiple rooms coming off the hallway. So you need to be quiet coming and going at night, and hopefully the other guests are as well. Wasn't a problem for us but could be for some.

We felt like we were in an Italian movie! The apartment is perfectly located close to all the attractions but looks out over a large green space and the surrounding countryside so you forget that you are in a busy city. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated with ornate and original furnishings and artwork. The lounge area was the perfect spot to wait out the deluge on our first afternoon in Siena. Our room was very comfortable with wonderful views. Cinzia and Duccio were such welcoming and helpful hosts, making our stay memorable. They assisted with a dinner reservation and finding our bus stop going on to Rome.

It was perfect.

The place is an old-school bed and breakfast, with great, comfortable rooms, a beautiful and welcoming common area and wonderful, helpful and super-nice hosts ready to make your stay great. This is such a relief that even though we are living in the aera of soulless, aseptic, Ikea-furnished AirBnBs, where you contact your host only by text, there still are great places like this: beautiful, comfortable, full of character and operated by real, hospitable people. Thank you for amazing, unforgettable week!

This is not a criticism! There is no air condition in this historical building. And yes, we were a bit concerned checking in. But we quickly discovered the room, facing lush greenery at the city walls, is very cool and pleasant even when it is ridiculously hot in the city. Do not worry about the lack of AC in the slightest! Celebrate the conservation of electricity and nature's ability to cool you down.

Perfect location with perfect hosts in Duccio and his wife - just like staying in a beautiful old, traditional Siennese home, which perhaps it once was. Our every wish for a perfect continental breakfast was fulfilled, and it was a lovely, convenient and calm place to retreat to after sightseeing in considerable heat. We could not have felt more welcome or at home.

What a unique and charming property! It was very clear the owners pour their love and soul to the place. It's curated to a specific Italian style with charm and class. Both the owners were exceptionally accommodating and very gracious hosts. Every morning, we were served a to-order breakfast. It is truly a must experience. It's also centrally located in the urban heart of Siena, and our room had an exceptional view of the Tuscan landscape. Our room was cozy with an updated bathroom and very lovely and comfortable common room.

Our bed was a little hard for our tastes. Also, I would enjoy an oscillating fan for a room without air conditioning.

This elegant B&B is located in a good position within a grand house, minutes away from the major sites such as the Campo and Duomo and shopping areas. Our large room had an open view across the city walls to the Siena countryside - plenty of greenery and birds singing. The room was large and comfortable and the public rooms furnished with grandeur. Breakfast was to order, with a good selection including eggs and fresh coffee. You can also make your own tea throughout the day. Valentina was especially very welcoming and engaging, and was happy to recommend local restaurants. There are plenty of other cafes, bars and restaurants nearby giving a wide choice. The train station is about a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. This B&B is highly recommended - and we’d be very happy to stay again.

The location is great, easy to find, easy to reach and only a few minutes walk away from the city center. We really enjoyed the privacy instead of a bigger hotel. The breakfast service was incredible for a private house and so nice with the beautiful garden view. We had our marriage during the stay and Valentina did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The two ladies even decorated our room. We had some minor issues with something in the bathrom not working properly - they were fixed immediately, we have never experienced that in any other hotel. Whenever we will returen to Siena La Dimora will be our choice.

The WIFi is a little bit weak but nothing to worry about.
