This is the kind of hotel you dream of finding. Proprietors who have created a polished oasis and who are devoted to providing hospitality. Located close to Porta Roma. It would be hard to find a more perfect place to enjoy Siena. The rooms in this 16th century tower are necessarily a little small, but they make up for it with gobsmacking views of the Tuscan countryside. And the shower is large and terrific.

There was nothing not to like. Some people might have a problem with the lack of an elevator, but it's a beautiful, renovated staircase with original marble.

We loved Sara, our host and really felt she was caring for her guests. Always with a smile on her face she was ready to go above and beyond to help us with everything from a late check-in to finding us a taxi and helping us with tips for cafés and getting to other cities. The place was recently renovated and the choice of colours, lights and natural materials creates a cosy yet modern appearance. The location is in a quiet and safe area, close to historical center and Piazza del Campo and you can find nice cafés, gelaterias, pizzerias and bars on Via di Pantaneto. Local products cand be found at the Conad City supermarket with is just around the corrner. The nearby Basilica Santa Maria dei Servi is well worth a visit for its beautiful paintings and also for the nice view over the city.

The view from our window was nothing special, just the apartments from the near building but they have other rooms with nice views.

We had a fantastic experience at Torre del Fuggisole! The location couldn’t be better right in the heart of Siena, making it easy to explore all the city’s charm on foot. A special mention goes to Sara, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She provided great local recommendations and even went out of her way to try and book a restaurant for us, which we really appreciated even though we didn't succeed with the booking. Our room was spotless, very modern, and the bed was extremely comfortable Highly recommend Torre del Fuggisole for anyone visiting Siena. Also the hotel has a terrace that can be used to have a drink and relax after a day of sightseeing. Now we have to come back for the Palio

The staff was extremely helpful and communicative. From making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to giving us recommendations, they provided it all. The rooms were really clean and such a bonus for Italy is that the showers were big! Amazing location. Great AC. Highly recommend I will definitely be back.

The parking situation can be a little stressful but the staff there is SO helpful that it makes it completely ok. We went during the Palio so it was overwhelming with the road closures and amount of people in general, but they said that other times it’s usually really easy.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to help, prior to and during our stay, assisting us with onward travel arrangements when transport services were interrupted, and going the extra mile to accommodate an early check-in when we arrived. The hotel is small, beautifully clean and comfortable, and is in the perfect location - quiet and safe, and an easy stroll to the lively centre. The design of the hotel - inside a tower - is clever and quirky (take a climb to the top of the tower for lovely views over the surrounding countryside). Highly recommend.

As advertised, there is no elevator; not a problem for us to be on a higher floor (with lovely views - see photos) but if stairs are a problem for you, or you have a lot of luggage, perhaps request a lower floor.

Well the most notable aspect of the hotel was it's owner, Sara. I wish there was a "Sara" at all hotels. She was always smiling, helpful, warm & knowledgeable. She helped us to secure tickets to the Paleo race and dinner at a wonderful restaurant. We had a 2 night reservation but ended up staying 5!! Sienna is a gem worth spending the time to explore. The room was clean, comfortable & had what we needed to have a perfect experience in Sienna.

There was nothing that we would change. Loved the whole time. But if you have an issue with steps, there are a few. But not too many. :-)

The host was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, actively helping us navigate the challenges of parking. Although the hotel does not have an elevator, the host kindly assisted us in carrying our luggage to the room. The entire hotel is decorated in a charming, vintage style, yet the facilities are modern and up-to-date (especially the bathroom, which was clean and comfortable), preserving the unique atmosphere of the old town. The dining area offers light snacks and drinks, reflecting the host's hospitality and attention to detail. If I have the chance to visit Siena again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

Our recent stay at Torre Del Fuggisole in Siena was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of the credit goes to the incredible owner, Sara. From the moment we arrived, Sara's warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering personalized recommendations and always being available for any assistance we needed. The rooms at Torre Del Fuggisole are a testament to Sara's dedication and attention to detail. Each space is thoughtfully designed, combining comfort with elegant decor, making it a true home away from home. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and every amenity has been carefully chosen to enhance the guest experience. One of the standout features of our stay was the exceptional range of complimentary snacks and drinks provided by Sara, including freshly baked cakes each day. This thoughtful touch added an extra layer of luxury and convenience, making our stay even more enjoyable. For anyone planning to visit Siena, I wholeheartedly recommend Torre Del Fuggisole. Sara's hospitality, coupled with the beautifully appointed rooms and generous amenities, ensures an unforgettable stay. We can't wait to return!

The only potential drawback is for those with mobility issues, as there are a number of stairs to reach the rooms. However, this is quite common in Siena due to the historical nature of the buildings. Sara is fully aware of this and is more than accommodating, offering lower-level rooms for guests with mobility challenges or those carrying heavy luggage.

The staff was so amazing. We were having difficulty finding a taxi in our previous stop in Montepulciano and Sara from Torre De Fuggisole called and offered to get me a taxi. Sara and Adele were both so wonderful in advising me on where to go and what to see. They were both so responsive. They answered my questions so quickly. We felt so comfortable staying at this hotel. The hotel was amazing. we were on the 4th floor so it was a bit of a hike up the stairs but my daughter and I didn't mind this at all. The room was clean, beautiful and quite roomy. I can't say enough about how lovely the Sara and Adele were in assisting us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked everything. Depending upon what floor and how much luggage, someone may want an elevator. One of the gentleman who works at the hotel was kind enough to carry our luggage up to the 4th floor. Again this did not bother us at all. I did not ask about an elevator, so they may have had one that we didn't know about.

The room was very clean and new looking. The staff made us feel welcome and was excellent and available for any needs and offered great suggestions for dining and helped direct us to museums, stores, activities and even contacted and reserved a taxi for us the night before our early morning departure. Everything was clean and fresh and items replaced daily. There is also a room with coffee, snacks, drinks, some fruit and nuts which are made available to all guests. We liked the location which allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. Thank you for your hospitality and making our stay memorable. I would definitely stay here again.
