We had a fantastic stay at this property! The welcome was incredibly warm—the host was kind, friendly, and made us feel right at home. His family was also lovely and especially sweet with our child, which made our experience even more memorable. The location is ideal, just a short drive from Siena, and perfect for exploring the region. The on-site park was a great bonus for our family, providing a safe and fun space for our little one to play. The room was spacious with a very comfortable temperature, which we really appreciated after long days of sightseeing. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and welcoming stay near Siena! Merci beaucoup!

You don't stay at Podere Il Pero, you feel at home! A place where every plant, every scent, every tree, every decorative object has a story. Il Pero is Tuscany within Tuscany itself. The comfort and care of the room with a very comfortable bed, clean and scented sheets and towels. The shower is perfect. Everything is perfect! A charming farm with a strategic location in a quiet neighborhood, a location where birds provide the soundtrack. Gianni, Giovanna and Lorenzo have the most affectionate smiles and hugs we found in all of Italy. As wonderful and enjoyable as starting the day to discover the villages and small towns of Chianti or Val D'orcia, it was returning "home" at the end of the afternoon and finding Giovana's friendliness, Gianni's attention and care and the Lorenzo's smile for a welcoming and pleasant chat. Giani, the owner is a warm and very helpful host, always welcoming you with a broad smile and willing to help and answer any question or problem you encounter. the facility is on the first floor so you need to climb stairs. it's a complex of 4 large bedrooms each one with it's own bathroom, decorated in a typical Tuscan way. The rooms are very comfortable but we really missed an electric kettele for a morning coffee or afternoon tea though there is a sort of greenhouse with electric kettle, coffee machine, microwave and toaster but there weren't any mugs or plates, only disposable small plastic cups for the espresso. But in overall it's a magical place with the best location just 1.5km out of Siena old town which can be reached by foot (like we did) or by numerous busses just about 300 meters from the house. Totally recommended and we'll definitely stay there whenever we visit Siena,

The lack of an electrical kettele and 2 mugs in our room.

What a great place to stay when visiting Siena. A great host Gianni and his familty, always available for anything required or any questions. Lovely 2 room apartment very well equipped, free parking in the garden area and very spacious all round. A 20-30 miniute walk into town along the main road which we really liked as it meant we didn't have to take the car into town. The apartment has been converted from an old barm retaining many of the original features. Would have absolutely no hesitation to stay again Thanks for your hospitality will see you again

This was a great space to stay! We were able to hike into town (took about 20-25 minutes) and have dinner our first night in. You're close enough but also a long the outskirts so you aren't too engulfed with tourist-trap places. Gianni, our host, was also just absolutely amazing. He helped carry bags in, was happy to tell us about Siena, and even recommended how best we experience the Palio!

Very nice place, every detail is nice. Giani is a fantastic host, explaining very clearly how go to Siena. I would recommend to go by bus, very easy, and you can use credit card (tap). It was a very good experience to stay in an old style house but the room and the bed are very comfortable and renewed.

This property was very cute and homey. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner, Gianni is so nice and very helpful to suggest places in the area to visit.

Location is a walk from the city center, but there is also a bus stop close by that goes into the city. We walked most of the time and the walk back is downhill which is much easier

We had a great stay. Beautiful gardens!!! Nice clean and comfortable room. Within 4 min. walk a busstop to take a bus to the center. And coming back from the busy town, to the hotel and sit in the great gazebo with the lemon and mandarin trees and hearing the bees buzz you can really relax.

We liked everything! First of all, the owners, are very friendly and wonderful people! They helped us with absolutely everything we needed (maps, information about restaurants, transport, shops, the history of the town, about nearby beaches etc). The property have a large and beautiful garden. Gianni`s mother and father are great people! If Italy has people like that, it means it`s a wonderful country!

We really enjoyed our stay in Il Pero. Everything is tidy and clean. The location is amazing, it is just outside Siena with shops nearby for anything you might need. Gianni is very polite and friendly and gave us excellent suggestions for everything, from parking spots, to restaurants and scenic routes in the area. We will definitely be coming back!
