Everything was exceptional - the B&B is absolutely lovely. Giorgia and Andrea are so friendly and welcoming. The room was impeccably clean, and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable - even the sofa bed was very comfortable and cozy. The location is so nice up on the mountain in the fresh air - everything was very safe and secure. There are many restaurants with spectacular views only a short drive down the mountain. There were gluten free, dairy free and egg free options for breakfast, which I was so grateful for, along with delicious Italian treats for the others in our party. We were delightfully surprised at how nice it was, and very much hope to return again soon!

We had such a wonderful stay at B&B Il Folletto del Lago! The place is magical, the rooms were beautifully decorated and there was even a jaccuzzi where we could unwind as soon as we arrived. The hosts Andrea and his wife were so friendly and helpful! They managed to book us a table at a restaurant with a breathtaking view that was supposed to be fully booked! We will definitely come back and recommend this B&B to our friends!

Although getting there from Stresa requires a winding road into the mountains, the location and the view are well worth it. Both the apartment and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and perfectly suited for a cozy stay. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and very kind. The breakfast is wonderful. The experience exceeded our expectations and it's a place you'd definitely want to return to.

The calm and the quiet atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Frendly owners, nice yard with a small garden, direct access to the room, no stairs. The bed and the matresses were OK.

The parking is not private, it is on the street and although we didn't have problem finding a slot, it is still worth mentionnig. The bath heating was not operational.

Giorgia and Andrea were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the first message until check-out. The B&B is full of charm, super clean, and located in a peaceful and beautiful area—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The hot tub wouldn’t be considered a hot tub by American standards- the temp was in the 90s, more like a warm pool.

A beautifully decorated room with perfect usage of all available space. Very clean and welcoming, with a relaxing atmosphere and everything we needed. Giorgia and Andrea were super nice and helpful! The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. It is located in a very quiet village situated on the hills, 10 minutes drive from the lake.

Absolutely everything!! Super host, beautiful rooms, great breakfast! Everything was super clean. Nice garden with hot tub and private seating area outside the bedroom. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Our host even left small beers, water and a little snack on arrival which was much appreciated after a long drive!
