I liked the location. It is close to Hofstra University where we had an event. It is walking distance. The staff is polite and ready to help you. Room is big enough to fit 3 people. In walking distance you can find places to eat ( starbucks, chipotle, mcdonalds). The pool is good. The gym is average and good enough to do normal training.

If you get a room looking towards the pool, then get ready to hear some noise. It is also humid inside the room because of the pool. It can be sorted out if you switch on fan/AC. The scale in the gym is outdated. It would be nice if they put electronic scale.

It’s very close to Hofstra University, so quite convenient when visiting our son there. It’s very basic in terms of accommodation: has everything you need, and no more.

The front desk configuration is awkward and the staff is kind of condescending. Also, they blare music at the entrance 24 hours a day and it was loud enough to keep me awake in my 7th floor room.

I like that it was very clean and is very close to everything you need away from home.

Didn't like that the breakfast was pretty much the same every day. The water wasn't hot enough. Otherwise, I love everything about this hotel.

I requested a 2 double room to accommodate 3 adults. When we got to the hotel we were offered a room with 1 king bed. They were finally able to find a 2 double bed room. Our floor had a broken ice machine. We asked for a roll away cot and we were told no because it would be a fire hazard. I have never been declined a rollaway bed in all my travels. We asked for the WIFI pw and were told that we could not have WIFI access because we booked thru a 3rd party and not Marriott. I am a Marriott reward mbr and they still declined to provide WIFI unless I paid 10 dollars extra per day.

I did not receive any points for my 5 day stay at the hotel. When I booked my reservations I was unaware that I would not accumulate any points. Being a rewards member, I would like to receive my points when I patronize the Marriott Hotels or its affiliates. Are you all really going to address these responses.

Overall it's a place that I would take my family and recommend for my friends My son enjoys a pool. I enjoyed the great location for me.

Unfortunately. One front desk representative.,black people treat black people the worst when they had a position of power,rubbed me the wrong way after several visits to the same location. I'm praying for her.

The breakfast staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, they accommodated my request for floor assignment.

I've called the hotel on two different occasions, and rec'd a VM. The first was not ret'd, the other I am waiting for. It would be nice to connect to a human directly. I had brought popcorn to pop in my room, but there was no microwave. This is a first world problem however.

The room was good size, convenient and well maintained. I liked the tiny convenience store in the lobby, although I wish it had more items for sale. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is 10 minutes from the university which is very convenient.

I don't think there was much to dislike. The neighborhood is not walkable, but that is to be expected in this area.

Very nice facility, the room was ready ahead of scheduled check-in time. Staff was very friendly (with the exception of the bartender).

My ex-wife coincidentally booked the same hotel using Booking.com and her rate was 20% lower for the exact same date. There was a very confused response to a fire alarm, the manager not really being able to tell guests what to do. Just "stand by" and await further instructions. No mention of whether or not to evacuate rooms, etc., then no follow up as to whether or not to return to rooms. It's a bit disconcerting that hotel management didn't know what instructions to issue in a potential emergency, whether one existed or not.
