1. Great location & its relaxed vibe without being very far from CBD/airport 2. helpful staff 3. great balcony view 4. Sufficient breakfast spread ( but can be better if some variety can be brought , like not repeating the same menu everyday)

1. Main entrance is closed but no clear instructions given either on road or in the booking about where to park and which is the alternate entrance ( Esplanade) to opt, you must call from airport or while reaching hotel 2. You have to carry your own luggage to the room, either understaffed or not interested to help 3. Bathrobe/slippers/dental kit need to be requested multiple times 4. Room cleaning service not good, need improvements

Great location and comfortable room and bed. Small balcony with no furniture and nowhere to hang anything to dry. Whilst we knew the pool would be closed, the front entrance was also completely closed and after 1 day the disabled lift to the rear entrance broke down which meant for the rest of our stay my disabled husband had to exit the hotel via the underground carpark and up a slope. I had to assist him which meant he could not go in or out on his own. Reception staff were not even aware it was out of order when we asked when it would be fixed! The down escalator did not work for the entire stay but was not blocked off which was dangerous. On one morning the fire alarm sounded before 7 am. I got my husband up and in his wheelchair and out to the hall only to be told by other guests that it was a fault! We received no apology or any communication from the hotel.

The staff was fantastic and really helpful! I don't think you could ask for a better location. The breakfast option was also wonderful and delicious.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, so, understandably, there were some things that could have been nicer. However, the original room we were in had a very dirty bathroom. Props to the staff for moving us to a new room, even though it required a price increase. Also, while it's great there was some gym equipment, the facilities were dirty and half done. There were some weights that only had one of a pair.

The stay at Rendezvous was nice. We had some nice view of the Scarborough beach and the location of the hotel was quite central to Scarborough and right near the beach. Hopefully the renovation is completed soon and the pool and other amenities are updated or ready -as they do need refreshing.

The gym wasnt really modern and it was a shame that the pool area was under renovation HOWEVER they did provide access to the local pool which was a short 2 minute away. The entertainment in the room was SUBPAR. The TV did not have casting capabilities so i can stream the shows from my phone cast to the TV - it was also not connected to the internet - so the entertainment system within room can use some improvement.

Customer service: every staff member encountered were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. I particularly would like to mention a staff member who welcomed me to the hotel and even came down to the street level to find me when I was a little lost finding the entrance because of the building works. Check-in and Check-out processes were simple and fast. The Room: The beds were very comfortable. Shower was a great water pressure. View of the ocean from our balcony was lovely. Easy access to Scarborough Beach and local shops. thank you! Loved my stay.

Lighting: dimmable lighting and softer bedside lighting would have made my stay more comfortable. Our room only had ceiling lighting and no lamps or dim-able lighting. Other: it would have been nice to have complimentary water supplied per person. Instead, water could be purchased. Sweet biscuits/crackers would have been nice too.

The room was lovely and spacious; the view is exceptional. Lovely long balcony to enjoy the view and sunset from. Location is great - lots of restaurants to choose from and the beach on your doorstep. Beds were very comfortable - we requested a fold-out bed and it was the comfiest I have ever slept on! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the parking app and they sorted it out for me with no stress. Breakfast was great! We were able to have friends meet us for breakfast and get it at the guest rate by booking it at check-in.

It's really getting old - the decor needs a major overhaul! For the weekend price I would have hoped for slightly nicer, but I kind of expected it might be dated. The pool area is unusable as it is getting renovated, which wasn't mentioned until after booking (had the ability to cancel though, and they offer the use of the nearby public pool for free) - and I thought the lack of amenities would have made it a lot cheaper tbh. If they are doing major changes I would recommend rearranging the layout of the suite if possible - there is a lot of wasted space - ie a HUGE dining area (but nothing to serve/present food or snacks on!?!) and then the bathroom is small - but the powder room (ie extra toilet) is huge?!?

The room was clean and spacious with a small balcony and views of the ocean all along the coast facing south. The hotel is in a lovely location with lots of places nearby to walk to for a bite to eat or some live music in the evening.

The pool was not accessible as maintenance/renovation works were underway during our stay, but we were made aware of this when we made the booking. The only downside was that we were woken in the middle of the night by a hotel employee doing a "room check". No further explanation was given and no apology for having woken us. When we mentioned this during our check-out the lady at reception was very apologetic and asked for further details so the incident could be addressed and prevent this from happening in the future.

The view was spectacular, and the room very spacious. The location was excellent.

We were extremely disappointed with the balcony as it didn't have any outdoor furniture. So we couldn't sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. We asked about this, and the staff explained that someone had thrown furniture from the balcony, and the local council will now not allow furniture on the balconies of high rise buildings. From what we saw, the only building without balcony furniture is the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. What is the point of a lovely balcony if you can't enjoy it. One of the reasons we booked this hotel is because it had a balcony. The hotel needs to fight the council on this ruling. The people concerned with the dangerous behaviour need to be arrested and prosecuted.

The view was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom which is always my biggest concern, was stunning, dated but so well kept and spotless. Large and comfortable. Toilet was rather low to the ground is probably my only qualm. Everything else was great. Would be awesome if there is a toaster in the room to be able to make toast, or even a microwave. Room service was delicious. I had the battered fish and chips and there was enough for two people in a single serve which was very nice, fresh and the fish was delicious. Great close walking distance to Coles and other shopping, which was awesome. Fantastic array of bars, restaurants and activities just outside the door. Will definitely book again.

I didn't like that house keeping left my room service tray and pizza box for two days. The tray sitting outside of my room for two days was not a good look, by any means.

The view and location are 5 star! We had a deluxe ocean view room which really was the highlight of staying here. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed for our anniversary and received a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolates just after we checked in, as well as a personalised note. It really made our stay feel special. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with so much choice and everything was fresh and perfectly cooked.

The walls are very thin and not soundproof at all. Unfortunately, the first night, we had very noisy neighbours with yelling kids and could hear every word of their TV until early hours of the morning. Ended up needing noise cancelling headphones to be able to sleep. The room was a little dated and could do with updating but at least it was clean. No fan in the bathroom.
