Room was large, modern and clean. Had a beautiful view of Scarborough Beach from the balcony and woke up to a nice sunrise each morning. We opted to add breakfast to our room option, the buffet breakfast had a nice selection of hot foods and cold/continental. On Saturday morning there was a chocolate fountain which we loved with the automatic pancake dispensing machine. We ordered room service and tried the steak sandwich. It was delicious, quick to arrive and they had some nice menu options to choose from.

Parking was a bit of a pain, although for hotel stayers you can pay $25 per day for parking- the parking itself had tight turns, low ceilings and low lighting. Gym facilities were fairly minimal and equipment was a little outdated.

Loved this hotel, I liked the location of this hotel, it is central to everything. The beds are so comfortable, I had the best nights sleep and could lay in every day, , the shower was powerful and the view is amazing. Would definately stay here again.

The pool was closed for renovation, it didn't bother me though as there is a beautiful beach opposite and a pool down the road to use. Saturday and Sunday nights were a little loud which is not the hotel itself, but the bars below, this did not bother me and I still got to sleep, so not much to not like.

The room was clean and cheerful. The view was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable. It was very cold in the room and took the aircon over 12 hours to reach even a slightly warm temp. But the shower made up for everything, the best shower in a hotel ever. We were on the 21st floor and were so surprised at how brilliant the water pressure was. Also breakfast was yummy :)

The whole hotel was really cold. I know it’s winter, but I was shivering walking around. I also know that upgrades are being done which is great for the hotel…but I had a knee replacement not long ago so the fact that the front entry was closed off (which we weren’t aware of) and we had to enter through the back of the hotel with no lift up to the lobby was more difficult than it should have been.

Amazing location staff were lovely

We had a king room, but the bed was too singles pushed together which moved apart, but the staff were lovely after our first night and moved us to another room with one bed Personally I think when you have 24 hour room service she should be able to get a good variety of things. I wasn’t able to get a coffee after 8 o’clock in the evening and the 24 hour menu is very small. We ordered breakfast to our room which we couldn’t have until 7 o’clock in the morning and we are early. People would’ve been nicer to order it and have it earlier but sadly when it came it tasted fine but it was really cold not hot at all toast was cold scrambled eggs, cold fried eggs cold.

The resort is lovely the position wonderful...unfortunatly they are doing maintenance...because we booked late on booking.com..we didnt get notification early enough otherwise would have changed plans...a couple of things maybe to look at ...no laundry although they do offer dry cleaning but a laundry would be great...and although they offer free entry into the beach pool ...our room looked over the pool area ...which im afraid left us very unhappy its an absolute mess ...breakfast was lovely although it was an extra charge...Staff were lovely and helpful also ...if the maintenance was finished and the pool area fixed i would stay again

Main entrance is closed but no clear instructions given either on road or in the booking about where to park and which is the alternate entrance ( Esplanade) to opt, you must call from airport or while reaching hotel 2. You have to carry your own luggage to the room, either understaffed or not interested to help 3. Bathrobe/slippers/dental kit need to be requested multiple times 4. Room cleaning service not good, need improvements

We loved the food, we had 7 dishes between us for dinner and we demolished everything. A big thank you to the chefs and the waitress that served us that night and thank you for the complimentary dessert. We weren't deterred by any delays but we appreciate the sentiment. Chromecast was great, room service options looked good, we look forward to trying that next time. The bed was so comfortable and we especially loved the 11am Checkout and the till 10am breakfast. We didn't feel any pressure to get ready to leave. We went for breakfast, went back upstairs to watch a movie and then left on time for checkout. We really felt that we spent our time very well. Hubby n I hadn't seen each other for 10 weeks, it was a great time away from our kids for 1 night. Thank you for a great stay! We'll reccommend to all our family and friends and we'll be back!

The spa/shower was hard to reach and the water pooled on the floor too easily. The pillows were too big.

Great location and comfortable room and bed. Small balcony with no furniture and nowhere to hang anything to dry. Whilst we knew the pool would be closed, the front entrance was also completely closed and after 1 day the disabled lift to the rear entrance broke down which meant for the rest of our stay my disabled husband had to exit the hotel via the underground carpark and up a slope. I had to assist him which meant he could not go in or out on his own. Reception staff were not even aware it was out of order when we asked when it would be fixed! The down escalator did not work for the entire stay but was not blocked off which was dangerous. On one morning the fire alarm sounded before 7 am. I got my husband up and in his wheelchair and out to the hall only to be told by other guests that it was a fault! We received no apology or any communication from the hotel.

The breakfast was the same every single day. It wasn't changed, nothing different added. It became very boring. The food was nice and had a selection of a few things. On yr website it says parking available onsite when you Google to park a car. So I assumed onsite meant onsite at the hotel. Not pay extra to a company that owns carpark. So that was more money. Given I paid around $1900 for the week which is a lot of money, then had to pay extra for parking on top wasn't appreciated.

The reception staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also the staff at the breakfast bar were so welcoming and accommodating.

On our second to last day we had left before 9am and noticed the cleaning staff were on our floor, upon our return at 4.45 pm our room still hadn't been cleaned and the staff was only beginning. Given the long duration we had been away from our room we just wanted to relax so we just requested towels and turned down the room cleaning as we wanted to relax, every other day we had left the room had been completed before our return.
