Basic hotel,clean warm room ,including toiletries, hot shower,fast wi-fi,comfortable bed good location (walking distance to city center).

They asked me CHF 10 for early check in,when there is a room available..Then I asked them to leave my luggage in their luggage room till check in time.They answered me ''Yes, you can drop your luggage before check in.''There is no mention of a payment in this answer. As I arrived at 10 am. to the hotel,they asked me to pay CHF 5 for leaving my luggage in the luggage room untill check -in time.I didn't find it fair at all.

The hotel has a good location, about a 20-minute walk to the city center. There’s a small underground parking area, which is convenient, though spaces are limited. Our room was small, but we managed fine with three carry-on suitcases. Guests with larger luggage might find it challenging to fit comfortably. The bunk bed is only suitable for children, and the shower was quite small as well. On the plus side, there was air conditioning, and the room had blinds, which made sleeping in easier. Overall, for the price, it offered a good experience and was a practical choice for a short stay in Luzern.

Location good with good value restaurants all around. 11 min walk to station or lake beach. No 4 bus right outside down to the station. You get free travel card when check in. Hot water available at reception. Rooms very clean and well sound insulated. Free wifi. Great aircon.

The price!!!!! Over chf 300 a night is eyewateringly expensive for an ibis budget esp as staying 4 nights.

The location was perfect for us. It was a short bus ride from the train station. There are restaurants and a small grocery store next door. The hotel offered a free bus/train pass (locally) although we only found out about it through another guest. We had already spent two days purchasing bus tickets when we found out. The bus stop is right across the street from the hotel. There is a breakfast served at the hotel but it is pretty limited for the cost - bread, cereal, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, tea and juice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We booked the family room for four adults. When we arrived the room was so small there was no way we could all fit. In addition, the toilet had no lock and the separate shower which was open to the room had a semi frosted shower door so everyone else would be able to see you showering. We had to purchase an additional room which was a little larger but still small. It would work for parents and two children but not for four adults traveling together.

For an overnight stay in a safe area within walking distance (about 10 minutes) of the train station, this was an excellent hotel. A bus stop is across the street. The beds were firm, quite comfortable for us. everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly, spoke English, and provided flat bed sheets for cover upon request. There is an elevator.

There was only a little space to walk and place luggage around the beds, and there were no chairs and no closet/wardrobe. There was a shelf by the window and hooks for coats though and the room was fine for us since we walked around the beautiful Old Town in the evening and left in the morning. There were many people in their 20's, much younger than we are, visiting in the lobby, which wasn't a bad thing but is mentioned in case someone wonders about how quiet the hotel is We had requested a quiet room and our room and hallway were quiet.,

- Location is fairly good (only about 15 min. by foot to the trains station) - The room was clean - The staff was super helpful - Internet worked surprisingly well - Free bus ticked was a nice bonus

- Price is completely disconnected from the hotel's standard. - Parking is a fiction. It's so tiny that you can safely assume it's like a lottery. - There are no parking spaces available nearby. If you would like to use a legal public parking, it's a bit of a distance. - Check-in takes a long time as there was only one person at the check-in desk during peak hours.

I have been staying at this hotel during my Luzern trips since a long time. I find it very convenient to access the city with bus No:4 and they provide a bus pass too. Also, there are some good restaurants nearby especially the Panda restaurant close by run by an old couple. Very friendly and helpful staff. Car parking available though at a cost. Clean roms and comfortable beds..

When we were checking in, we noticed that the toilet door was not closing at all and also noticed there were no latches.. We went down and informed the guy at the reception - Marco. He was very helpful and proactively checked a few other rooms, and moved us to another room. Thanks to Marco, all went well..

The property is quite walk from the main station, but it is considered adjacent to it - walkable. We requested from a high room and we were given one. The beds were comfortable. There were shared facilities in the lobby which we were able to use. The rooms and facilities were clean and pleasant.

The shower and toilet cubicles are small. I wished the glass door of the shower was opaque, it is a family room so the shower cubicle shower door (facing the room) should not have been transparent.

The room was exactly as explained on the website with basic amenities. The hotel is located 10 min's by walk and 5 mins on bus which made it perfect to commute to city. There good local shops and restaurants near by for take away or dine in. The hotel had the most helpful staff ever who made sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel also has a microwave near the Reception if anyone wants to heat up the food. And while exploring the area while walking around 8-10 minutes from the hotel we found a big park named ufschotti with a big strip of sandy and pebble beach, lots of picnic spots, a great place for kids and adults for a swim. Which also added as a bonus to the location of the hotel.

A hair dryer in the room would have been good. Rest it was adequate for the price you pay in Luzern.
