The hotel was very clean, and the staff were fantastic. The room was large, with very comfortable beds. I loved the shower, you just have to be patient for the water to warm up. Location was great, short walk to Union Station.

We got blind sided by the deposit. I read that it was $100, but didn't realize that meant it was per night. So, for our 5 night stay the deposit was $500. Also, keep in mind there is also a resort style fee per night as well. We prepaid through Booking.com, but some people don't realize this fee is there and are surprised when they check out.

Really nice hotel. The room was a good size and extremely clean. The hotel is in a perfect area for visiting the tourist sites. It also has a really nice restaurant/bar.

Only criticism is that that lobby area really didn't feel like a top quality hotel. No concierge or doormen. This was an issue as due to a mix up at the airport, my wife and daughter had to arrive at the hotel first with all our heavy luggage, at 10pm after a long haul flight and there were no hotel staff there to assist with the baggage, They also wouldn't let her check in until I arrived as the booking was in my name, which I thought was a bit overly officious, especially as the booking was clearly in the same name.

My favorite aspects of this location was the friendliness of staff, cleanliness, and proximity to local attractions!

Got a free upgrade to a king rook which was huge and spacious. Room was spotless and had high end amenities. Staff were attentive and very responsive. Good location in a quiet neighborhood so no disturbance by traffic noise. It’s a new hotel so well kept and everything looks clean and shiny. The bathroom had fluffy towels, water bottles, premium body lotions and shampoo etc. I will definitely stay here again.

Wanted to stay longer ! But all rooms were fully booked due to Cherry Blossom Festival.

The property was in a great location (within walking distance to Union Station, several great restaurants, and about a 20 minute walk to the Capitol). The area felt safe and the property was immaculate. The decor was adorable and the room was spacious, with lots of amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, shower had wonderful water pressure, and there was minimal street noise. And the staff were all incredible/welcoming; from the valet to cleaning people, everyone was attentive and helpful. This is my new favorite hotel!!

The hotel is very close to Union Station, which is convenient if you arrive by train or want to be near a metro station. Staff was also very friendly and helpful

I was visiting just after a big snow storm. The sidewalk was clear in front of the hotel property, but the sidewalk was not cleared adjacent to the property in front of an unoccupied building and a small park/memorial. The sidewalk was icy when walking up to Union Station from the hotel. If I were hotel management, I make sure that snow/ice is clear from the adjacent sidewalk, up to the intersection to help make things safer (even though it’s beyond official responsibility). I wouldn’t want a guest to fall on the ice and get hurt.

When I told the receptionist I didn't like the room because it didn't face the city from the window, she quickly took me to another one that was much better. I also appreciated that the hotel used tile instead of carpet, which felt cleaner and more modern. The bedroom was a good size, and the bathroom wasn't cramped either. Overall, the staff were very friendly and smiled whenever I asked for help.

When I was going to check out and requested to have my car, I was waiting for almost 20 minutes to get it, which made me a little bit nervous.

Great location (especially if travelling by train), spacious rooms with everything one would need for a pleasant and enjoyable stay - one of the rare places that gave a feeling of a home and not just a cramped room where you get through the night

Water pressure in the shower was not great (as well as the creaking of the plumbing while using it) The casting system to the TV - I'm pretty tech savvy and couldn't get it to work (despite it claiming to be as easy as 1-2-3) from neither account, device or anything I threw at it - that was a nightmare

When we arrived, there was a surprise for us, that we must have embossed credit card, which I currently don't have. It was never asked in any hotel in Europe. After confirmation from bank hotel accepted the card. Besides that everything went smooth. We had one problem with the room, hotel staff fixed it quite fast. They gladly borrowed us extension for electricity and we could keep it also for our 5 days trip to LA. Rooms were big, always clean. Location is amazing, close to Union station (main station in Washington) and to the Capitol.

Rooms were Big and spacious, also very clean. I am a person that loves a strong and powerful shower and this had a rain shower head, so not my favorite but the bathroom was still nice. Pleanty of counterspace. While there is a "destination fee" of $30 a night, it gives you $12 a day at the on-site restraunt that can be used, as well as 2 bottles of water daily, a refillable water bottle, wifi, and a few other things. The ones listed were just what I took notice of and used. I am a big water drinker so it was nice to have, and the refillable water bottle came in handy as we travel during a suber hot week and there was a refillable filtered water station around the corner from our room. For the restraunt credit we were there for 6 days, so my husband and I went down for a night cap and dessert and spent about $80 including tip. Yes restraunt was a little expensive but it was a great atmosphere with friendly staff, and it didnt hurt that I had about $72 in credit.

I would have prefered a stronger showerhead instead of the rain version. The beds were comfortable, but on the firm side, and the pillows were a ittle soft but they gave us extra when we asked.
