Large room, big windows with plenty of light, very comfy bed. Location is easy walking distance to several nice places to eat out. Nice garden setting.

Lack of fresh air - windows are large but no opportunity to open them for some fresh air. The restaurant had few selections and which were expensive so we headed out for meals.

The host was a very friendly chappie and his staff were also very friendly and attentive. Our room was excellent, large and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely pool which we did not use and the grounds were well manicured. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. Dinner was excellent. The Hotel was situated only a short and inexpensive taxi ride from the railway station :-).

Nothing at all. The a/c unit in our room was not working properly but that did not really cause us a problem. The host, in fairness to him, did try (unsuccessfully) to remedy the problem.

We had a large, clean room with a comfortable bed. A breakfast buffet was available in the main dining room which also served a very good dinner. The hotel was close to local shops, the riverside promenade and bars. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Storage space was inadequate - only 3 hangers and no drawers; some of the surplus space in the room could have been used for storage shelving.

Large room, comfortable bed, clean and quite room. Tv was easy to use. Also good to have a toilet brush in bathroom many placed seem to have done away with this cleaning tool.

Size of cups in room - could do with few mugs. The smell of bathroom when I first entered room - seemed to be the cleaner used. The pattern of the basin in the bathroom. Would have been useful to have a desk lamp.

Manager at check in was AMAZING! Arrived early and got me sorted and checked in ready to come back when room was ready. Explained everything and was friendly and funny. Room was immaculate...bravo housekeeping!! Well appointed room. Tea coffee stocked mini bar...room service available aswell. Bathroom was spacious very modern and so clean. Sooooo clean especially for a hotel again housekeeping...gold star. Pool is beautiful Close to local shops with a Coles, bottle shop etc plus centre of town with coffee shops, pubs and the river.

No streaming services on tv

We arrived after 10pm but no problem because we had already received two text messages with entry codes and photos of the location for entry. It was raining while we were in Rockhampton and staff always offered use of umbrellas and as we did not have a car staff would book a taxi for us. Not having been to Rocky for many years staff always assisted with locations. No problem recommending the Regent to family and friends or visiting again ourselves.

It's a beautiful old building and the facilities were spotlessly clean. Great location and we slept so well as there was no street sounds. We have stayed in other accommodation while in Rockhampton and you could hear every truck and car going past.

The coffee sachets were a little old as they were hard

Super friendly staff. Prompt service. Very clean property and smelt fresh and clean. Really comfy bed. Welcomed on check in and checkout by lovely staff who happy and friendly.

Just personal preference but prefer a doona not the wool/ synthetic blankets

The staff were amazing, very friendly and professional. Fernando was extremely warm and welcoming and we felt at home right away! Breakfast buffet was more than ample, as was our evening meal.The property was very clean, inside and out. The bathroom and shower were great. Liked the heritage look. The swimming pool was well cared for too.

Impeccable, great location, great attention and service

Around the west wing, there is a noisy leak against a piece of metal with a drop that sounds the whole night. The issue belongs to the building just next door.
