Very clean, very polite staff. It's the 4th time returning and I could notice small improvements this year, the carpets I think have been replaced with newer ones and everything was cleaner than last year.

The toilet didn't work sometimes. We alerted the staff and they did try to fix it but unfortunately even after that sometimes it didn't work. We had to press the button for water multiple times before it flew properly. Sometimes it was annoying. The pressure of the water was too low. The food at the restaurant was a hit and miss. I ate some very good dishes but others were not good. The pizza for example was inedible, we were a group of 7 people together at the table and we all found it terrible. But the servers were very nice and the food was always brought quickly, we appreciated these things.

Had issue with the shower and was given another room straight away. Staff were superb in sorting out the issue. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Parking free (nice, as some places charge residents extra for this!).

No lift (not an issue for me but may affect others). Coffee/tea facilties in room need to be relocated. Tray on bottom shelf of luggage stand, so had to be moved to access it and plug in kettle. For the room rate, I expected better, and complimentary biscuits at least. Hotel far too warm everywhere- could easily turn down their thermostat a couple of degrees in public areas without causing discomfort. Hotel undergoing a much needed refurbishment but work was currently being done on a different wing so didn't impact on my stay, fortunately. Was expecting higher standard of facilities for cost of stay (no criticism of staff though - they were excellent).

The person on reception when we arrived, just after 6 pm, was really good. He was helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The room was a very good size, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was everything you could just about wish for, the food was hot if that is what you wanted. There was so much to choose from, you could have stayed there all morning, just picking at the different foods on offer.

Would have liked more coffee, not decaf, in the room. I like my coffee strong. The pillows were not to my liking, but that is personal preference.

The hotel was lovely and very convenient for us to attend Wales Comic Con in the ICC. Was straight out of the hotel and a very short walk. Our room was lovely and quite spacious, which was nice. The rooms are a bit dated however it was still very clean and nice to stay in. Would stay again. Gareth from reception was great and very helpful multiple times for me and my partner, so thank you! The newly renovated bar and restaurant was lovely and we found ourselves in there most nights. The waitresses and bar staff were great! We also managed to squeeze in the pool, which was excellent and good fun for someone who hasn't been swimming in a while!

We only had one issue where one night, the food took quite a long time to come out. This was because they became quite busy, which is understandable, and staff were very apologetic about it.

Lovely hotel. Staff is amazing and very helpful to my needs. Nice size pool and a mini gym. Very clean and nice equipment. Room has sky so lots of movie channels and documentary. Bathroom clean, bedroom easy to move about. Nice cuppa in bed this morning so I enjoyed that . Restaurant is lovely and bright with some cool ornaments. Even the room cleaner she was a diamond and very polite. 10/10 Thank you and will be staying again 😁

All the staff we encountered from check-in to departure were helpful, informative and professional yet friendly. An excellent value-for-money stay in a modern hotel that has been tastefully refurbished since we last stayed 35 years ago (when it was a Hilton!) The pool was a most welcome feature after a 4-hour drive. Buffet breakfast was of a good standard and the bar / lounge area is a great spot to gather and start the evening in.

God it was hot in the corridoors and rooms! We needed the aircon on pretty much 24/7. Other than that though, nothing major at all.

Nice chilled out atmosphere. We booked dinner bed and breakfast. Good value for money. This is a special half board menu which I’ve added in photos.,The food was tidy enough. Kids eat free. Plus the staff were all amazing. All in all a lovely chilled day and night, followed by a lovely buffet breakfast in the morning. Good value for bed, breakfast and evening meal through booking.com.

Pool was a bit small, but it was quiet and relaxing anyway…so no big deal. Otherwise nothing to even whinge about for us or our daughter.

I came down for Comic Con Wales at the ICC, which was straight opposite the hotel and only a 5 minute walk away and cross one main road. It was clean, air con was a great help after a long day. Room service excellent. Staff from reception to breakfast to room service were friendly, helpful and chatty.

Unless you wanted to go elsewhere than the ICC and didn't know the area, Veezu taxis were your main option to get around to local retail parks.

A great stay of 3 nights related to a conference at ICC Wales. Highlights, proximity to the venue, specious room with appropriate furniture, great bar and restaurant, friendly and efficient staff, beautifully kept wooland grounds erc.

Cleanliness was good but not sperlative, furnishings were dated, food was a bit hit-and-miss at times....

Ideally located for attending the ICC, albeit that the walk is up hill. Ample free parking. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Large comfortable bar area. Nice pillows. Comfortable bed. Good, all day menu.

No lifts. Incredibly hot upstairs corridor. TV was not working when we arrived. Minimal wardrobe space. Small bath towels. Limited selection of real ales at the bar. Constant traffic noise from M4 if you opened the windows for fresh air..
