The room itself was lovely and the staff were super helpful re parking our car! Bed was comfortable and for the price we paid, super happy!!

We were a little surprised that it was essentially a converted house, but, this didn't cause any issues

How comfy the bed is we slept so good in the bed and looking out the window to see the train going passed

The kettle We found that it wasn’t usable for hot drinks and nobody told us that there was a socket to insert the other key for the electric in the room

The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and well kept. Facilities were fine and easy access from the city centre by walk.

Window above bay was open and difficult to reach to close. One or two minor maintenance issues.

Nice clean room. Was able to get a room away from the road, as requested also. Lovely breakfasts and very pleasant staff.

I found my pillows a little on the hard side. However, got used to them by night 2.

Last minute booking, easy check in - in the hotel a couple of doors up. Great location for our needs. The room had everything we needed, free parking always a plus!

Didn't realise I had to go to the Gateway Hotel first to get my room key, so it would be helpful to have been informed of this prior to checking in, but everything else was lovely

i got my room on ground floor as i’m disabled and they did get me that room,go all the time it’s great value for money,booking one now.

i liked when i asked for the room on ground floor and they did that for me,i was very happy as i’m disabled but they sorted it out straight away,brilliant stay.

Clean room. You could adjust your own heating. Decent lighting.

As my room was in another house a few doors down the road and that I travelled alone, I did not feel comfortable with the area/place as it seemed a bit odd at first. However, once in my room I released it was good and safe.
