The hotel was good overall, a bit older, but well maintained

I was not pleased at being asked to wait during checkout while someone checked the room. I do not expect to be treated as a liar when I said I had not taken anything from the minibar. I was also disappointed that bags I left at the hotel to collect later in the day were not stored in a secure area.

Lovely staff, good location, good kitchen facilities, good housekeeping service, lovely toiletries. Bedding lovely and clean and well made up. Handy dishwasher. Good tea/coffee etc provisions.Effective fridge and cooker.

The bathroom was clean but needed updating, worn, dirty grouting and the wood was rotting around the door, flimsy shower curtain that wasn't effective and the fan didnt work. The kitchen tap was very loose felt like it was going to come off. The walls could of done with a clean, had splashes of what looked like coffee up one wall. It was a shame there wasn't a small table to use to eat on, especially seeing as the kitchen was there. The TV was in an awkward spot too to view it. The photos provided showed a larger room with balcony furniture, we didn't have any.

I appreciated that I was able to reserve a room last minute at an affordable price. The hotel was easy to locate and very convenient to the CDB area. At the receptionist desk I was required to pay a fully refundable $250 bond; however, this information was not clearly stated when I made the booking. Lastly, I assumed that guests would be able to park their cars at the venue without an added cost, however I was required to pay for my overnight carpark with Wilson. Having a park at the venue would have been much more suitable.

That I was required to park my car offsite. This is less safe and costed me more.

Location was good, a few short blocks from the viaduct and all the action (5/6 min walk for us). Worth the saving $$ being a bit away from the main roads such as Queen Street. Room was great, a little tired in places but everything worked well and beds very comfortable. Had an amazing balcony view of the sky tower which was cool. Wifi was patchy in our room the first two days but improved, maybe weather related…. We were on the 10th floor and could hear traffic at night, lots of motorbikes zooming but I soon zoned out. The pool was a pleasant surprise, quite long and very clean. Only saw a few other guests so we had plenty of fun, the gym seemed popular. There was a Chinese restaurant right by reception which was handy on our last night as we were exhausted. Overall we loved our stay, was great value for money and felt very safe and comfortable in our apartment. Would return and recommend.

Wifi didn’t work for daughter’s I phone 11, better for my 14 but not a strong signal

Underground carpark was convenient but expensive ($40/night).

A great location, central to many wonderful Auckland attractions. A short stroll to Viaduct Harbour and all the glorious eating places. Very close to hop on a Ferry and explore many nearby areas. So close to all the shopping precincts, public transport and the Sky Tower. Our room was affordable, very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was serviceable, but small and awkward. The shower curtain with the narrow bath tub was the least likeable feature of our stay. My wife made some decent headway with cleaning the filthy tiles and grout, but the Hotel should be getting that done. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would book here again

Location was very good with everything super close by. Most places was a short walking distance if your wanting bars or malls there not far. With great places to eat not far either The staff were extremely lovely. We had difficulty with our cards for payment and not at any time did we feel rushed, stressed or judged. They were great with any questions we had not being annoyed at all such lovely staff The pool area was great. It was very clean with lots of seating for bystanders to seat next to the pool. The rooms are spacious for what your paying for we had plenty of space

Parking was little be dodgy with skinny roads and blind corners but with the help of mirrors and stop lights it isn’t impossible The bed wasn’t the comfiest but I only stayed a few nights it wasn’t terrible but for the money you pay for any where to stay your there to sleep so getting a good nights rest in a comfy bed is expected

Great location in the city centre, easy to walk everywhere. The room was comfortable and cosy. Beds were comfortable and warm, pillows were brilliant. We enjoyed the little balcony for some meals. Teas and coffees were appreciated. Packets of plunger coffee and a plunger would be great. The gym, sauna, and pool were amazing, we enjoyed these very much. The staff were very friendly and always smiling, always happy to help and accommodating of our needs. Thank you! We'll definitely be back.

The bathroom taps were a bit tricky. We turned the tap on in the sink and the shower and the water pressure was so intense water went everywhere. Maybe a wee sign indicating this would be helpful. A few things could have been cleaned a bit better.

Hotel is conveniently located and has great ambience. We were greeted by Luther for checking in. He was very welcoming and helpful. Room was very spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities. There is daily housekeeping. Amy is the most sincere and hardworking housekeeping team member ever. The 24/7 Front Desk employees were very helpful and supportive. Will ALWAYS be indebted to Luther for the great help that he had provided for dealing with an unexpected health issue during our stay at the hotel.

Liked kitchenette and balcony! Free espressos for eco friendly cleaning were appreciated.

Mattress was uncomfortable for my husband. His back hurt every morning. The bathtub/shower was very narrow.
