Its new and well located in Auckland City. The 38th floor rooftop bar is brilliant. Two complimentary bottles of sparkling NZ water

Housekeeping needs to be more thorough. The shower smelled a bit sour and the bed was poorly made ie looked slept in. There was a single wine glass provided in the luxe fridge and sideboard Also no milk in the fridge and guests are expected to drink the comp water out of the bottle. Front desk check in was very perfunctory. Hardly any sort of greeting. Rather ‘your c/c and id!’

The rooftop bar was closed for private function. So disappointed as had planned to meet family here for predinnet drinks

My experience was quite good, from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I ordered room service and the food was good; the breakfast was complete. There wasn’t a huge variety, but there was a bit of everything, and that was fine with me. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had everything you need. But what really takes the medal is the staff. EVERYONE I interacted with was amazing. I don’t know everyone’s name, but they all helped me at some point — with restaurant reservations, giving me tips on tours and specialized apps, helping with my luggage, giving directions and everything else and always so kind and happy to help. I have to make a special mention of Javiera from the dining area and Aayush from reception...just incredible and amazing service!!! I think as in price, it was perfect for what I received. Plus it´s in the centre and close to everything. Just a tip, if you can, book a sky city tower view...you won´t regret it. ❤️🤩⭐

We stayed for 6 nights. Great central location, near the sky tower. We were in a room on the 25th floor, with great city views. The Albert bar, a good place for a snack and drink is on the 38th floor a great place to watch the sun set, it’s not far below the observation deck of the sky tower so you might want to consider this before visiting the tower. The spacious room was great, clean and comfortable, you can elect not to have the room serviced and you get 500 points per night. All the staff were superb. There are plenty of places to eat and drink to suit all budgets.

The restaurant menu was a bit limited, perhaps more pasta dishes.

Loved the ambience the smell from when you walk in kind of reminded me of the smell of Cordis beautiful perfume. Loved the rooftop bar stunning at night the facilities the spacious room on level 30, everything was beautiful I highly recommend The room was immaculate beautiful modern and the towels were nice a big the toiletries everything was amazing quality the bed the pillows blankets sheets! The view we had was beautiful to wake up to the city and harbour view I loved this hotel we then became IHG members because we know this won’t be the last time only the start to something new lol

The only thing would be room service was limited only pizza which was stink.

Its location is near the shops, quay, restaurants and car park. The included breakfast is great but it gets really busy. We got upgraded and the views are so great (sky tower can be seen from our window). We also got a welcome treat as it was my husband's birthday. There are also free water and water refilling stations on every floor.

The shower pressure is a bit weak and there was confusion on our check out time. We got told we can checkout later but our card didn't work at 10am. This issue has been resolved when I show my IHG membership.

Perfect location! We booked a Standard King room with Harbour View. The room is nice and clean with great bathroom. The hotel staff is very polite, there are some chocolates at the reception for welcome, there is a system for filtered water ( sustainable approach), and the view is amazing ! We have enjoyed our dinner at Mozzarella & Co Italian restaurant very much!

There is quite a big amount of dust in the room, the filter for the water on our floor have run out of life, but nobody has changed it for 5 days. The rooftop bar is great as view and atmosphere, but the Signature cocktail Root hasn't match the description in the menu, because they have run out of ingredients.

Our stay at the voco Auckland City Centre was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff and their dedication to guest comfort. We arrived in Auckland on a red-eye flight, landing in the middle of the night. Not only did the hotel graciously check us in at 4:00 am, but they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Imagine our surprise when we were greeted with freshly made pizzas! After a long journey, this unexpected gesture of hospitality was exactly what we needed. The excellent service continued throughout our stay. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's central location was also a major plus, making it easy to walk to many of Auckland's top attractions. We highly recommend the voco Auckland City Centre to anyone visiting Auckland. Their commitment to guest satisfaction, particularly their willingness to go the extra mile, truly sets them apart.

Everything was perfect, no complaints

The view from the hotel is great and the night shift staff from the reception (2 men) were very friendly, warmth and very helpful. They explained patiently about the carpark and also upgraded my room. We asked for additional pillows and towel and they accommodate immediately. They have cookies/chocolate at the receptionist desk at night and my kid loved it. Room was new, modern with nice lightings and the bathroom space were cleverly used. Overall, it makes the whole experience pleasant and wonderful.

The parking in Auckland CBD generally is expensive but that's nothing to do with the hotel. :)

The location was super central, so it was really easy to get around the city. The room was lovely and the perfect size for me. The bathroom made me feel like I was at a fancy spa! The staff were absolutely wonderful anytime I needed to speak to somebody and they all smiled and greeted me as I came and went during the day. Having a filtered water station on the floor near the lifts was super convenient and a great little plus that I would never have thought of but was pleased to have.

The hotel is right in the middle of a hill - this is not really a bad thing, I just wasn't expecting it personally, so be aware! Another thing that is not at all bad, just something I didn't realise before staying, was that having a harbour view meant I got sun all day long in the room, so remember to close your curtains before you head out if it's super sunny and you want to keep the room cool!
