The 2bdrm and 1bdrm apartment was very spacious and great for our little whanau. We were totally wowed by the view. We were rapt that we got rooms side by side.
The private parking was great, however I thought once you go through the second gate that you could park anywhere, which I ended up doing and then received a note on my window screen the next morning that next time I park there my vehicle will be towed. Reception needs to specify exactly where Sebel Quay carparks are please. It was frustrating having to drive around for a bit trying to get close enough to the motel to book in, alot of streets were one way, so it seemed like a bit of a maze trying to park somewhere just to get to the reception.

One bedroom apartment lay out very good, bedroom and bathroom away from lounge and kitchen. Nice to have a separate laundry. It was quiet enough at night, traffic noise died down by 11pm. Location was perfect for waterside restaurants and supermarkets. Reasonable view of harbour between buildings on the 20th floor. Cafe is a bonus on 1st floor, pity it's not open beyond 2pm.
Maybe cleaning could have been more through, switches, shower grout etc needed a bit of scrubbing. Updating would make it a very desirable place to stay.

Great location down near the wharf area. Easy walking to a great choice of cafes and restaurants across a number of different cuisine styles and pricing. Major and good minor retails stores all around. Well equipped spacious room. Staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. We caught the airport bus into the city, its about a 7/8 minute walk (downhill) from where the bus stops.
Nothing we can think of hotel wise. There is another Sebel in the city (not too far away) and you just need to be aware which one you get if you need to use your phone for hotel location/directions.

Location was perfect, only a 5min walk to Queens wharf for our cruise. Hotel held our luggage while we grabbed breakfast further on down the road. Woolworths 50m or so down the road, that was a life saver. Hotel upgraded my family to a 3 bedroom apartment, instead the 2 bedroom we had booked. Apartment had everything we needed, I didn't;t ready available facilities when booking so it was a nice surprise to see a washing machine and dryer on arrival, a bonus the hotel supplied washing powder as well. Nice huge space for the kids to run around, they loved having so much space to burn energy. And the view, we all loved waking up seeing our cruise ship docked, waiting for us. I'd definitely book here again next time I'm in the area.

The staff were exceptionally helpfull,check-in was a breeze and the carparking is very simple to find with a little direction from staff.Love the location right in the middle of all the shopping ,queen street and restaurants at the viaduct.Just a short walk to SPARK ARENA for shows as we did see the disney on ice.Just a short stroll to sky city and easy access back to the motorway. My 8 yearold daughter loved the indoor pool and spa.She had a ball swimming with similar aged kids from australia. And pool opening and closing hours is perfect for leisure time.Room was a little outdated but the size of the 1 bedroom apartment is perfect for a family,a decent size equipped kitchen for cooking and washing machine and dryer was well used, staff and location is awesome.Had breakfast at the hotel cafe and the food was delicious, very friendly helpful staff and priced really well. Will definitely be back again when visiting the CBD
Staying longer.

We were nicely surprised with the size and layout - a proper one bed apartment. The location was excellent.
Not trying to be picky, but all the light switches were very grubby, I’d be surprised if they’d been cleaned in a very long time. A few instructions on the confirmation email about where to park when you first arrive would go a long way - especially if you’re not familiar with the area. We went around in circles quite a few times before having to ring reception and ask where we can park while checking in.

We had actually stayed here for 3 months back in 2011, so felt like home ! Great location, having the large balcony cut out noise. We even had a view as building across the road had been demolished. The original quality fit out had stood the test of time, although looking a little tired in some areas.
The parking can be challenging, you certainly wouldn’t want a huge car. It is limited for hotel guests, as its first come basis. We managed to get a park on all 3 nights. Price of $40 per day seemed reasonable compared with other hotels.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for our concert at Spark arena, and the train station for getting around Auckland and the ferries to visit friends in Devonport. Good eateries and shopping only a 5 min walk away also.
We didn't like that it was difficult to find the user name and password for the internet. We went back to reception and they explained it was on the back of the modem, which we eventually found on the floor wedged between the coffee table and couch. Really? Just give us a card with that info on it.

Location was great and the rooms were spacious.
Knowing that we had booked parking it would have been helpful to let us know how to access the parking prior to arrival as there is no pull up area and a lot of one way streets. Once I parked in a loading zone across the street it took me 25 minutes to navigate around the area to get back to where I had already been. Also no mention of the gym on the booking.com site. If I had have known there was a gym I would have brought my gear with me.

The customer service was outstanding, both workers we had interacted with made the check in/out process super smooth and were very welcoming. Upon entering the hotel immediately grabs your attention as its design is amazing.
Sadly the pool was closed for maintenance, and we were super excited to use the pool. I never got a notification about it , we found something else to do but it was quite a bit of a letdown.
