I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the outstanding service I received during my recent stay at JW Marriott. Ryan, Go, and Morgan were truly exceptional — they were professional, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Their efforts made a significant impact on my experience, and they are a big reason why I will be returning to JW Marriott Auckland.

The pool and spa facilities where under renovation and they did fail to mention this prior to the booking. I was a little disappointed to be offered general access to the local pool as a substitute option when there where plenty better spa option in the area that could have been offered as a better substitute.

10/10 congrats!!! Every minor issue we encountered was promptly resolved and more than compensated for, turning our stay into an experience that truly exceeded expectations. The location could not be better – simply perfect for exploring the city on foot as a turist

The in-room dining service could definitely be improved. The menu offers very limited variety of dishes, and when ordering through the app, specific instructions are often not followed. Enhancing both the selection and the accuracy of the service would make the overall experience much better.

A great location. Really central, staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Bar staff make a good flat white. Linens and towels are lovely. The room refurbishment was great - particularly like the solid luggage valet/storage shelf. Nice lighting. Great gym and pool (the basket of apples is a great touch). Thick carpeting in the halls keeps the noise down, and we slept well. Handled the reporting of a problem with the shower well.

The water in the shower ran hot and cold (unbearably hot and freezing cold). I did tell reception so they know there was a problem with the room, and they kindly gave me some additional points on my loyalty card. Additionally, our room did not get serviced on Saturday (the middle day of our stay) and despite asking for a service via the service light, and ordering more consumables online, we ended up having to call the reception desk in the evening to get some more coffee pods. That is unusual for this hotel, as in the past they have been superbly quick.

Excellent location, in downtown Auckland, which also doubles up as the main tourist hub. Very good restaurant with an exceptional breakfast spread!

Generally helpful staff, but it could get better. Restaurant staff was exceptionally good though! Parking is an issue and a parking attendant should be there to help guests. There is parking available for a fee across the road but guests often dont know that.

The beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Nice bathroom. Excellent location

I could hear conversations in next room in the middle of the night. Housekeeping came to clean room only at 5pm of the second day. We had been out all day and would have liked to come back to a made up room. On first day at breakfast no staff approached table at any point. Even when I checked in at 2 am with 2 tired kids in tow and a lot of baggage apart from the bare necessities of check in procedure zero conversation was made. I of course don’t expect to chat but How was your flight or this won’t take a moment would have been appreciated.

Loved everything, clean, tidy, wonderful staff who are very helpful and kind, really lovely that the young man who brought our things to the room while we were waiting tuckedmy daugers soft toy in! Lovely little tipple of berry tea when we arrived as we had traveled from out of town, lots of helpful amenities in the room, pool, spa and sauna was great, our daughter loved it, valet was perfect and very helpful.

The breakfast is overpriced, no room service menu in the room that I could find and no recommendations for food in the area which would have been helpful (allthough I didn't phone reception to ask so they may have had one there) you could however go to the resturant in the hotel as an option.

We really enjoyed our stay here over the weekend it was very exceptional it was my partner and I anniversary weekend and we spent it here at this awesome hotel. From the minute we arrived the the time we left the staff helped us our with everything we needed I asked if I pay and extra price if the could decorate our room which was the highlight of our stay there and also the pool,spa,sauna and gym area we love love loved everything about our stay here definitely well be back for another stay. Thank you very much Ryan,Gio,Will and the big bos manager for everything yous could have possibly done to make our stay exceptional and yous did we are overwhelmed and will definitely be back again.

There was nothing about this hotel that we disliked everything was on point and exceptional.

From the moment we drove in, we received exceptional service. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Our room exceeded our expectations. The decor and lighting were soothing to the eye, especially after a big day out in the city. The pool and spa on the 10th floor were a treat and the perfect way to relax in the afternoon. The buffet breakfast had everything and was so delicious. The bar staff at night made delicious cocktails and helped us with places/bars to visit. I highly recommend JW Marriott!

Location was close to my workplace, and our rooms, cleanliness and breakfast was great! Restaurant food and especially the valet service was absolutely amazing!

We were celebrating my birthday on Friday and wanted to listen to music/watch Netflix (via casting) on TV after dinner that night. We were unable to access those areas on TV using the remote from Friday until late Saturday evening when assistance from reception was sought - the TV cords had been disconnected prior to our stay. By that time it was too late into the night, and we were asked to keep the singing down.

Amazing stay, the staff went above and beyond on our anniversary celebration and left a little cake in our room, besides upgrading us to a better view room. We were really impressed with the hospitality. The bed was super comfortable and the room very spacious and cozy. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, lots of options and very tasty. Will definitely come back!

The pool and spa area was full of kids jumping and swimming and we couldn’t quite “relax”, even though there was a board which said that kids couldnt come on the spa without the responsible adult they weren’t respecting. We thought we would enjoy this area a bit more but it was so crowded we couldn’t.
