I will absolutely be back. Loved that it was an 11am check out as it gave you a little more time in the morning. "Nitesh" ( I'm sorry if I got that wrong) who checked us in was a real delight. After dropping our things in the room we noticed a massive deck that didn't have any table or chairs. When we went out we asked if we could have a small table and 2 chairs for our deck as it was a beautiful day and wanted to sit out there and enjoy the view. We didn't hold out much hope for this request being fulfilled. When we got back there were 2 chairs and a little table set up on the deck. It was perfect.

The bathroom was so small that the toilet felt way to close when doing anything. But not a deal breaker. It's definitely very loud with the nightlife and sounds like you're IN the club till 4am. But take air plugs and problem solved. Although we checked in on check in time there were no car parks at the hotel. But the viaduct car park is a 5 min at most walk. Easy.

Hotel has a Fabulous looking out on the harbour with restaurants 2 mins walk from the reception. Our bedroom was very nice with outside balcony. Very comfy bed , lovely big ensuite shower.

Sadly we did had interrupted sleep every night. Our room was located 2 levels above the restaurants , and the one restaurant was to right of us had a nightclub so very loud music continued until 3 am. The first night , below our balcony was a hotel room with suite , large terrace & they had a party until 1 am. Hotel is great but if you stay here ask for a room on the far side of hotel and a higher floor away from nightclub restaurant. We probably would have had a quieter night if staying on higher floor.

Location is excellent, walking distance from the marina and parks. The room was generous and we liked the little kitchenette facility. The staff were helpful, prebooking us a taxi for the airport the following morning.

The room stated city view - it was a view of the carpark. Not that we were in the room for any length of time. The window didn't open and it would have been nice to have some fresh air. The windows also got condensation on them which I was surprised as it looked double glazed. And the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work.

The hotel was great! Staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and had the benefit of washer and dryer which was nice since we had been on vacation for the last 6 days. Front desk was so helpful we needed some things printed for our cruise and they helped us out. The included breakfast was lovely at giraffe Cafe. And there are so many food outlets rt outside outside door. Perfect for our cruise b3cause we could walk to the port which made things so easy. The gym facility is across the street it's 4$ us. Worth it. Clean and had everything.

The location was excellent. There were many options for dining right outside the door. For the robust cruiser it is walkable to the cruise port, if you don't have a lot of gear. We chose to uber, which was interesting because the don't really have the real XL size in Auckland. We managed to get all our gear in and us.

The hotel is a little dated and some routine maintenance is required. This is not a "Value" priced hotel, so it shouldn't feel like one.

The Sebel is in a fantastic location surrounded by restaurants, bars and tourist activities. The access to the harbour is very convenient. The view from our room was awesome though we did have to upgrade to get this. The bed and pillows were very comfy, Nice amenities and a bath which was great. The easy check in and out and the helpful friendly staff made this a good choice for us. Very clean and modern reception areas. Parking available at a first come first served basis and at a cost.

A couple of things that could be improved......with the upgrade, robes would have been nice. Overall the rooms were dated, cracked tiles in the kitchen and old furniture. The price did not reflect the condition the rooms were in.

The view was outstanding of the Marina and Harbour from our Marina View suite 508. Yes it’s noisy with the club downstairs as we stayed on Saturday night. I read the reviews so knew to have our white noise app on high. The beds were comfy but pillows a little soft. Just popped 2 together and all sorted. The staff at midnight check in were excellent as were all on the desk. Special thanks to Renzyl at the front desk for organising our Super Shuttle pickup times. Greatly appreciated. Would definately recommend as a place to stay.

A couple of small fixes on kitchen cupboard wouldn’t go astray and a few cushions for the lounge areas. Otherwise loved our stay.

My husband and I where in Auckland for a medical procedure. My husband's surgery went well and he was discharged a day earlier than expected. When I checked out I never mentioned why I was leaving early yet the lovely young lady at the desk asked me why and then said she would ask the reservations team to consider a refund for the 3rd nights accommodation. I thanked her and left. By the time I fetched my husband and arrived back in Cambridge the refund was showing on my credit card. Wow ! Thank you for your outstanding customer service it is much appreciated.

Beautiful place and location. Very comfortable bed, lovely outlook over the marina

This accommodation is on the more expensive side and I would of expected things to be of a standard that is in comparison, I absolutely hate having long life milk presented. This is something that I know is very small to the over all picture but as we left in the morning not being able to enjoy my morning coffee i was quite deflated.

I stay here all the time - great location, big rooms, clean and tidy

This is the first time I’ve been kept up with music from the bar downstairs until 3am (I’m thinking It must only be because I was on level one this time because I hadn’t heard it in the past … or maybe it’s only Saturday nights) but honestly that’s what happens in the cbd so I’m not complaining - just something to keep in mind if you do need silence to sleep 🤣🤣
