We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. As indicated above everything met our expectations for a great weekend getaway. The hotel is very walkable to everything downtown including the waterfront area and ferry terminal. The restaurant was excellent, and the choice provided at breakfast of buffet or a la carte was very good. Loved the rooftop bar onsite. We made good use of the hotel's facilities and would definitely stay again.

Nothing. There was a small hiccup on check in about the price, but understand that may have been due to poor communication with the hotel on the part of booking provider. The lady on reception dealt with it superbly, and even gave us two complimentary drink tickets for the inconvenience, which was unexpected.

We stayed with my elderly mum, plus our daughter. Had 3 rooms. The rooms were great. Our daughter was surprised to get a treat from hotel staff as it was her uni graduation. It was a great surprise and much appreciated. The car was always ready when needed. Staff were extra friendly to my elderly, often confused, mother. I am very grateful for this, as it was long weekend with a lot of travel for her. The young male concierge went over and beyond what was required, many thanks for your attentiveness and friendliness. Staff looked after flowers and a wheelchair until we arrived with no problems.

We should have stayed longer!

We loved the breakfast and the hotel had a good food selection. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable and clean. Also loved the rooftop bar for our cocktails.

We found the room quite dark in some areas making it difficult to find things. There was no bright lighting. Also on our first morning, the water from the shower area overflowed into the toilet area causing a minor flood. We got given some towels to mop up but needs to be addressed if this continues to happen. Our last comment is that we were charged for using our NZ debit card for payment- the hotel charges you for using it and this is something no other hotel has ever done.

We had drinks and nibblies on the Rooftop. Fantastic! The young woman working there on the evening of Monday 12th was incredible! Lovely, efficient, friendly. All your staff were excellent. Carlos checked us in upon arrival. He was so helpful and obliging. Dinner at Esther's was excellent. We dined there twice and the food was incredible.

Breakfast. We only had breakfast there on Thursday morning - day 3. We didn't feel that it was a terrific menu. Perhaps it needs a few more simple dishes. We ended up paying $40 each for museli and yoghurt. Not great.

Cool place. Very hip and stylish. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Flashy cool restaurant and rooms, interesting design elements. Nice bed and sleep. Coffee shop out back (separate business) is awesome and very popular. Lovely rooftop bar/restaurant.

A bit of style over substance. Design of rooms is cool, but at the cost of some comfort. Example: no bright lights in bathroom. No views. You pay a premium for the cool design elements. A little distance to the marina happenings, 5-10 minute walk along the lovely marina. Gym is tiny. Food design and recipes are amazing but to me not as yummy as they looked.

Beautiful eclectic interior design, love every detail of this hotel. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the viaduct where there are many restaurants. Food and drinks are good too! Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Our server from South Africa was super friendly and attentive, he made our dining experience more lively and enjoyable. The Indonesian from desk staff was so helpful in my rebooking process, he was generous to offer me a drink’s voucher in their rooftop bar. Rooftop bar has stunning view and funky vibe, DJ played great music. Our room was spacious and very comfortable beds.

Clean, very modern and decent sized rooms with nice bathrooms. Large king bed. I also appreciated the water filters on each floor. We didn’t have breakfast included so can’t rate it but the restaurant looked pretty with a nice ambiance. Great rooftop bar with nice views.

Walls are very thin you can hear heavy room doors closing, housekeeping trolleys, people talking, other things banging, noise from the street etc. Suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! Location is ok, a bit of a walk to the city centre (and Auckland is hilly!) but appreciated being just outside the hustle and bustle.

We liked the location of QT - it was easy to walk to parts of Auckland we wanted to visit and was very comfy for our one night stay post flight. Staff were very polite when we were there.

We booked this hotel for the rooftop bar. On arrival we got told it was closed for a private function. This was extremely disappointing, as we would have booked somewhere else (would have been cheaper and similar quality) if we had known. We contacted the hotel separately about this, but received no response. It would have been nice to get a message before hand to make us aware.

Fantastic staff! Extremely helpful. The breakfast at Esther was amazing, lots of food options and quality fresh ingredients. We loved the pizzetta! Room and decor very modern and interesting artwork throughout the building. Our room faced a busy street but was not loud. Clean and spacious room. Location easy walk to the city centre, ferry, harbor, CBD, shopping and cafes.

Only drawback was the lack of lighting in the rooms. It was consistent with the design of the decor to be moody and chic. However it would be helpful to have additional optional lighting or lamps as it was pretty dark in the rooms.

It was our wedding anniversary - 30 years. So we wanted to do a little something special. The bed was to die for and I loved the shower and bathroom. The young lady said she did not have our room number on her breakfast tariff and that it was likely we had to pay extra. I told my husband, it had been quite expensive for one night and I was sure breakfast had been included. It was! But apart from the pouring rain which made me want to stay in the bed all day, it was lovely.
