Location was very decent, walking distance to everything, 5 mins to the viaduct, queens warf etc. Staff were so kind, the atmosphere was super boujee and the room was perfect for us. Rooftop bar had some really nice staff, one member not so much. We had a bit of an issue and the manager was beautiful! he was super accommodating apologetic for it and handled it really well.

went to the rooftop bar and asked if an item had coriander in it (my mum is highly allergic and we understand expectations for cross contamination in restaurants) but the waitress told her in a bit of a rude way if it isn't written on the menu its not in the food, so naturally we ordered the meal. Turns out there was coriander in the food. make sure to double check the menus and ask if you have any allergies

Location is perfect. A short stroll to the sky tower and queen street. Beds are comfy and the room is perfect, all you need for a few nights away. Clean and tidy hotel all round. We will be back. Pick up and drop offs are easy for Ubers too as there is a drive way for them to pull into on a busy street.

The roof top bar was disappointing. We were so looking forward to it. We were told we couldn’t sit at a table by the window because it is for 4 people and we only had 2 people, then another group of 2 were allowed to sit there. We also couldn’t sit outside because it was fully booked to then be offered a table out there just as we finished our drinks when no groups had left. It all seemed a bit hard and un accommodating for staff.

Lovely clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and nothing was a problem. Valet had car ready quickly when required.

The robot didn’t turn up with our milk even after 3 calls to follow it up, we waited 1.5hrs then gave up. Hard to get going in the morning without my coffee so would prefer the option of milk in fridge ready. The second morning husband went and got some from reception rather than risk time waiting. Staff were great and offered a real coffee the first morning and apologised.

Staff were lovely. They upgraded my room for free, there was a complimentary face mask and yoga mat to use. The fresh milk was great, and the room service robot was super fun. Bed and pillow selection was fabulous! Black out curtains. They allowed a last minute late check out too.

One street around the corner had a few shady characters loitering day and night. Nothing associated with the hotel, and they can’t do much about it, but unfortunate all the same as a solo traveler

Great location in between Victoria park & Skycity. Awesome location to walk to the gallery, town hall, queen street shops. The decor is sophisticated & classy. A robot delivered fresh milk to our room for a cuppa! Kids loved it. Breakfast buffet of dreams!

No complimentary car park. Only parking option was $55 valet service on a first come basis. We did our research & used a nearby Wilson pay park - fine on the weekend but will be extortionate on a week day.

We enjoyed the whole stay very much; we have stayed in a few hotels in Auckland city and this by far for the price is the best we've stayed in. Customer service was awesome! They were very natural and warm. We needed more towels which arrived very quickly and to our surprise it was a robot at the door! The kids thought it was the best :) Highly recommend and we will be back. The pillows were also amazing!

Possibly our old backs but the beds weren't our flavor.

It is a beautiful and super well-located hotel. The lobby is very nice and sophisticated. Great Asian restaurant and super cool roof-top bar. Staff is awesome. The rooms are modern and nice but a bit small for a longer stay. The downside was the half open shower area, which seems a bit usual in NZ. The bathroom ends up a bit wet every time. Breakfast is pricey, so I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, it is a great hotel within walking distance to a lot of attractions. Parking is expensive both in or outside the hotel, so be warned.

Breakfast buffet. We came down for breakfast at 9am and the hot food had clearly been out for a while and was not good quality. I can see how it would have been great value if we had of come down earlier when it was all fresh, Just not at the time when we chose to have breakfast

Staff were very helpful and assisting with the numerous requests during our stay (milk, ice, extra seat, extra towels).

When on the toilet in room 821 you have the toilet paper roll pressed up against your thigh. Re-locate it in front of person just beside the roller door. Yes it was NY eve celebrations. The time was 3am and party furniture above us (floor 9 or 10) was being dragged around and woke up both my wife and myself. Could I suggest 2 man lifts next time maybe.

Booked superior room which was clean and comfortable. Room was up to date with good facilities. Reception staff on arrival and check out friendly and efficient. Reception booked a taxi for us and contacted me on arrival. Female receptionist was free and assisted with bags to taxi. Breakfast had a great selection to chose from. Food well set out. Dining area very clean as was all areas of hotel that I could see. Loved my stay. Hope to return. Certainly would recommend.

I would have like to be able to order continental breakfast only at a reduced rate.
