It was a great location (in town, we walked everywhere) and a great layout. Downstairs area with kitchen and lounge with two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The reception staff were great and after hours access with card was convenient.

They had a maintenance power outage which meant we had to walk up 11 flights of stairs to get into our room. The car park was TINY and they got us to pay I think it was something like $30 a night, and once we had agreed, we drove down into the carpark just to find there were NO PARKS. We had to park up the side of the driveway part as they completely oversold the carpark area, but we still had to pay for a carpark.

Location was great, not in the best area of the CBD but very handy for public transport to many of Auckland’s farther suburbs. The hotel stood out in the area it’s in in an awesome way - lobby was welcoming, easy to get to our room which was much better than the photos! Spacious, very clean and had everything we needed to rest and relax between our long tourism days out. Also very grateful to the staff who were amazing in some unfortunate personal circumstances, and the housekeepers who did a fantastic job keeping the facilities clean!

The fridge froze our milk. That’s about it!

The location is prime as the hotel is located in the downtown area with the Viaduct Harbor being only a 15-minute walk away. (Also, if you're taking the SkyDrive bus from the airport to come into town, the bus stop is only a 4-minute walk away.) The room was clean and the front desk being 24/7 was helpful. We arrived early and while we weren't able to enter our rooms at the time, we did leave our luggage in the luggage room, which was kept locked by staff. If I were visiting Auckland again, I would stay again.

One thing to note is that there is an accessible entrance a few steps past the main entrance. Although it was only four or five steps up to the main entrance, I would have greatly appreciated knowing about the alternative route before hauling my heavy luggage up in the rain.

We really enjoyed our stay there overall; everything was beautiful, clean, and amazing staff. I booked the wrong room, so definitely our own fault.

1) Our bed squeaked a lot due to the springs popping, so every time you turned over, it would wake us both during the night. 2) We had to use water from the bathroom area to fill the jug when making ourselves a quick coffee, the toilet is situated in this area too, so again our own fault. 3) Having to pay for the parking of your vehicle for 2 nights on top of your booking, which may look at this to your booking.

Everything. This is a brilliant hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Fridge, iron and board. Tea and coffee facilities. Safety deposit box etc. Restaurant and small cafe in the foyer which opens Monday to Friday. The Restaurant is open daily for all meals and does lovely food. Close to Sky City and the tower (5 minute walk) and a 15 minute walk to the Quays and Marina, and all the bars and restaurants associated with the area. There is a laundry facility in the hotel with a laundromat only two doors away. Plenty of local convenience stores close by and a Subway if you get peckish. There is also Liquor store opposite. Would stay again. Perfect place and the price is good.

Great location on Hobson Street. The apartment was perfect for a 7 night stay. Separate kitchen was good for having meals and leftovers which saved money. The hotel has a historic entry and first floor, but then the unit I had was in a modern tower in the back. A secondary entry was perfect to avoid stairs at the main entrance. Good hot shower, though I found it bothersome to have to close the bathroom door to use the toilet.

No china dishes, replaced with biodegradable paper products. The refrigerator was so cold it froze everything, including the milk capsules for the coffee. Took a phone call to reception to figure out how to turn on the heat.

I liked friendly & quick service during check in whereby I was attended by Kiki who is an amazing staff to be the face of this apartment. Mr hearty thanks to her as when you feel welcomed at reception it leaves good vibes on your stay at property. I appreciated that my room was cleaned daily & towels changed, Thanks to all staff who cared for us during our stay.

Bathroom was bit small but manageable. If apartments have little balcony added in future it will be great to enjoy a cup of coffee sitting there.... BUT overall I have no complains as the apartment served the purpose I stayed there for with my Son.

Conveniently close to AirPort Express bus and Sky City. Access to small kitchen within the room itself with fridge, microwave and small stove. Plenty of cupboard space. Soft towels. Good size bathroom. Restaurant in hotel open part of the week. Board games and communal seating area. Even a piano. Access to guest laundry. Close to restaurants and shops. Good tv in room. Breakfast was excellent! But if you opt out there is always the kitchen in the room

Being in the city you will hear some traffic and sirens.

Room service and overall customer service was prompt and good. The kitchenette was well equipped, it literally had everything, pans, disposable cutlery, glasses, dish washing liquid and even a tea towel ;and of course a water kettle and microwave. The room had all facilities that you look for when you are travelling with your family especially in our case with a toddler . Location was so easily accessible and almost in the heart of the city. The overall experience was just perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for whosoever is browsing and looking for customer review.

Big room with a cold portable aircon—there’s a bit of noise, but it didn’t bother us. The real issue is the staff didn’t inform us about the parking policy. It was such a hassle, and because of that, i’m pretty sure your rating is slowly going down because of that.

Parking is a hassle here—you have to book in advance because of the limited space, and it costs $30 per day, which is pretty bad. You’re better off picking a hotel nearby with free parking. We’re hotel hopping, so for us, this place is alright, but the parking inconvenience is a letdown.
