The after hours duty manager was lovely! Upon check-in he helped us park our awkwardly large hire car and on our last night when we returned to find someone had taken our carpark, he assisted us in finding an alternative 😅 Clean, great shower, good bed, awesome movie library.

Location is what it is, some colourful characters outside but nothing to be too worried about ☺️ Whilst our car was large, the carparks are very very small, only a small hatch could fit. If you're coming with a hire car and the hire company offer you an upgrade to a bigger car - don't take it 🤣 After hours phone line needs some work, got bounced around 3 times before someone said they'd contact the duty manager.

The location was exceptional : 1 minute walk to sky city , making airport transfers a breeze . Queen st is just a 5 minute stroll down the road to all of the local shopping. The views are amazing - looking right out to the sky tower and even a view to the harbour bridge . The room was spacious and well maintained , the staff were all super friendly and helpful . These are serviced apartments and housekeeping will come and clean the sheets and replace towels for you. I highly recommend staying here !

Only 2 things , and this is not the property’s fault . Is the amount of roadworks and construction currently going on in the city , you can hear it through out the day - but the nights are quiet. The second thing being that it is located right opposite a church - and those bells will ring for 10-20 minutes on a Sunday - not ideal on a hangover hahaha .

It was so nice being greeted by the receptionist every morning, he was lovely. We loved the view from both our balconies (one in the room facing the apartments & the other off of the lounge facing the Sky Tower) the cleaners did a good job, it was clean when we came in & everytime we came back it was nicely reset. The location was super handy as well, being so close to so many things. The whole apartment was just so nice

We only had a couple downfalls but I don't think the hotel is to blame as 1 incident the night before we left , the fire alarm went off on the residential side of the apartments & we thought it was ours so we evacuated our room. The other complaint was the people next door to us were super loud one night having a s party, but again, we don't blame the hotel.

Good sized studio style design in good shape in a good location in the centre. Like in all of NZ, shower water pressure was strong.

Can’t give it a 10 as just like in Ireland/UK 6 months before this trip, only 4 of the 8 places I stayed in NZ or there in 3 weeks had even serviceable wifi (at LEAST a steady 10+ mbps-I live in Mexico & get up to 200 mpbs on a standard wifi plan & MX is not even a 1st world country). As in when checking in, desk clerk stated wifi was “really good”. Not true-not even at his front desk w/the router right near by & using his laptop he was getting a mere 12 mbps & I was getting 2-5 mbps in my room-could barely stream Youtube-completely unacceptable in this day & age in a first world country.

Wheelchair user...I have stayed there a number of times. Is the room fully designed with disabilities in mind, No the cupboards with utensils are a little high for me to reach...However, when they know I'm a wheelchair user prior to me arriving, staff make every effort to bring down the utensils I would need and set them on the bench as well as the microwave is brought down for me...now that is a service that makes me feel welcome! sorry I can't give you a 10 for the design but definately a 10 for making things work. This is a typical Quest property, comfortable and well appointed. My apartment had three rooms: a bedroom, a bathroom and a large living room with kitchen facilities. It is centrally located, a very short walk from the Skycity Bus Terminal from where Intercity coaches to many other New Zealand cities and Skyrider buses to Auckland Airport depart. I arrived early and was able to store my luggage prior to formally checking in. The reception staff were friendly and obliging. My room was very quiet and I had a very good night's sleep on both nights I stayed there.

It is outside the control of the property but my review has a qualification on "location": Hobson Street is central and the property is close to the bus terminal but that part of Hobson Street is also a bit "grungy" even if by world standards it is not really unsafe.

The one-bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable bed, fluffy pillows & aircon was great. The shower had excellent pressure. Kitchen was well stocked. One of the standout features of this hotel is its convenience. There's an express supermarket next door along with a Subway which made grabbing snacks incredibly easy. Location is also perfect, close to various eateries, shops, handy to Sky City bus stop. Service at the reception was exceptional. Staff welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is generally well-maintained and has a warm, inviting atmosphere.

One downside was the nearby homeless shelter. People often gathered outside the hotel & smell of marijuana and at times this made the area feel a bit unsafe. The hotel reception was also directly affected by this, which posed a challenge at times. But I still highly recommend this hotel. The great location, comfortable rooms & helpful service outweigh the challenges posed by the surrounding area. If you’re planning a trip to Auckland, this hotel is definitely worth considering for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Much of the area around the building is under construction - streets and buildings. That said it is a perfect location for its proximity to the SkyCity Bus terminal ( airport and intercity bus services), without walking up or down hills, as this Quest is on the same street, nice and level. . In addition, at street level there are two convenience stores and a Subway. One convenience store also sells take away food and drinks. I also much appreciated the extensive free movie options. I was at the end of my trip and it was lovely to just relax in front of the tv and do some washing before heading home.

I liked everything.

The location so close to the Skybus stop from the airport was ideal . Apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was a short walk to Queen St and the Harbour, so very convenient.

The apartment need a few cosmetic details attended to e.g. broken cupboard drawers in the kitchen and ome of the blinds were also broken and difficult to manipulate. Glasses were in a cupboard which was hard to reach for short people. Only two wine glasses and one champagne. Some instructions how to work the airconditioning would have been useful.

This quest is in a great location, just one block from the entrance to SKY City and three from Queen St. There are plenty of food options within an easy walk, and the convenience store and the Subway next door are both open until 10pm. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the room was very clean. Very reasonable value for money given the central location. I would definitely visit here again.

There are a few little quirky things, like the lift call buttons only being wired to a single lift, which was odd. Also, the aircon kept on re-setting itself to 25 degrees after a short while of being on 18 degrees. If you are going to have guest-controlled aircon, it should work properly. I would prefer a more comfortable easy chair for watching the TV on, the one in the room felt like I was in a doctor's waiting room.
