Great location if you are driving as the City works depo over the road is $15 for the weekend parking and you can come and go within the one parking payment. Easy walk to the viaduct, federal st etc, Super comfy bed and our room was pretty spacious - really good value. Clean, seems recently renovated? Definitely would stay again.

Overall, I had a positive experience. The location is fantastic, very close to the Sky Tower, with a great view from the room. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly. The facilities were also very good for what they offer.

There were two issues. First, I stayed for three days, and one day didn’t include breakfast because it was booked separately. I asked if they could shift the breakfast I missed on another day due to an early tour, but they couldn’t accommodate that request, which felt a bit inflexible. Second, after checkout, I was charged an extra 30 NZD, and although they asked me to fill out a form for a refund, I haven’t received it yet. This kind of attention to detail is important, and it hasn’t been resolved

The location was exactly what we needed. Staff were attentive and friendly however the directions to the car park could have been clearer. We had room service on our first night and the meals were outstanding .

We stayed for 3 nights and opted for the eco clean which was a basic clean no towel or linen change. You are given a coupon for each night that you opt in for this. I had to ask for one where we should have been left 2 on the second night no service was given our room service meals and rubbish were left in the room and I had to ask for them to be removed. I also had to ask for a coupon. Just be aware that if you don't ask you're not given...I do think that valet service would be an excellent add on.

The warm hospitality where the staff were cheerful and friendly, always professional. Rooms were well furnished with contemporary decor. Really pleasant and comfortable. We opted for a very check-in and the extra fees were reasonable. The front desk staff took the initiative to upgrade our room. A wonderful surprise. The staff also let us park at the driveway for a little while to give us time to bring our luggage up before parking it at an allocated car parking location (with fees added).

There was only one robe and one pair of slippers though the room was for double occupancy. Otherwise, all is good, Room was well maintained and clean.

Location: The hotel’s location was absolutely excellent. Situated right in Auckland’s city centre, it was within easy walking distance of major attractions like the Sky Tower, the waterfront, and the shopping on Queen Street. There were also plenty of restaurants and public transport options nearby, which made exploring the city extremely convenient and saved us a lot of travel time. Our room was modern, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a balcony overlooking the city. The room was not only clean and stylish but also very comfortable. The bed in particular was fantastic – extremely cozy with fresh, high-quality linens, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. We also appreciated having a balcony view of downtown Auckland, which was a wonderful bonus. Everything felt newly renovated and well-maintained, contributing to a very pleasant stay. The staff were very nice and provided excellent service throughout our visit. From check-in to check-out, every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They even gave us local tips and promptly assisted with any requests we had, which made us feel truly welcome. Their warm hospitality definitely enhanced our experience. The hotel’s breakfast buffet area was clean, inviting, and well-stocked each morning. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning – it was almost excellent. There was a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, from eggs and pastries to fresh fruit and cereals. The food was tasty, and we left feeling satisfied and well-fed to start our day. It was nearly a perfect breakfast experience, just shy of outstanding due to one or two very minor details, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The room size was a downside. With two large suitcases, it was difficult to find space to open and organize them, and the layout felt too cramped for a comfortable multi-night stay. We also found the breakfast experience slightly overwhelming. The chef was very friendly and enthusiastic—something I’m sure many guests truly appreciate—but for us, it felt a bit too much, especially in the morning when we preferred a quieter start to the day. It might just be a personal preference, and I can imagine others would enjoy the lively atmosphere, but for us it ultimately made the experience less relaxing and was one of the reasons we chose not to rebook, despite the property’s many positives.

I stayed for 2 nights, and I wished I had stayed longer. The hotel was amazing, clean, and sophisticated. The staff were fantastic, the room was perfect, the walk-in shower with the large square shower head was heaven, and the bed was huge and super comfy. I dined in for breakfast, and the food was fresh and delicious. On request, Chris, the chef, was there to make you a yummy gourmet omelet, and Amy, your host was so friendly. The hotel is within an 8 minute walk to the Sky tower and 15 minute walk to the bustling viaduct. Perfect for me as I didn't have a car. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely stay again. This hotel truly deserves top ratings. It has been fully renovated and features spacious, comfortable rooms. The location is excellent—right in the city center, close to the port with ferries to the islands, great restaurants, and various leisure spots. Public transport is very convenient, with city bus stops right across the street and a direct airport bus just around the corner. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast is outstanding, offering fresh ingredients, a wide selection, and a live cooking station for omelets and fried eggs. The entire hotel is spotless, with high-quality toiletries and personal care products. Additionally, the hotel actively promotes and encourages eco-friendly practices.

I didn't find

The hotel was great! Ticked every box, lovely staff that were super helpful and went above and beyond printing things for me and arranging last minute parking, the room service was fast and hot and delicious, the lobby smells amazing and has a gorgeous interior, the bed and pillows were super comfortable, the view was amazing and the location was ideal next to city works depot for food and exercise and all sorts. I will definitely book again. Such great value for a super premium four star experience.

The shower pressure wasn't the best but thats the only fault i could find if I really had to.

The hotel is located conveniently in the downtown Auckland area. Exactly right next to the Sky Tower. the SkyDrive bus station is just a few feet away from the hotel. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and the hotel offers a fantastic breakfast buffet. The bedroom is very spacious and comes with modern and up-to-date facilities. Most importantly the hotel is located in a very safe neighborhood and just walking distance from most sightseeing landmarks.

There were a couple of things that stood out for me that I thought the hotel could improve a little bit. To begin with, while the hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet, however, the hotel could change the menu a bit since I found the breakfast was repetitive during my stay. Again it is not a huge deal breaker for me. Finally, I also found that it would be nice if the hotel offered a laundry facility on-site rather than having to go somewhere else. Luckily the laundromat was just around the corner from the hotel.

Great view from our room. Comfortable beds. Food was good. Had the buffet breakfast, used room service and had a great dinner. Staff were really friendly and accomodating.

Quite a few voucher systems to use - 15% off a meal, a green clean $10 voucher etc. But we were not given the 15% voucher and only received one of the two green clean vouchers we were entitled to. When we asked we were made to feel that it was our fault and we must have lost them (both times). This was not the case and it tarnished our overall experience.
