Very clean, helpful staff straight from the get go.

Unfortunately the computer system went down, and we were waiting over an hour to get to our room. Which meant the purpose of booking the room would've defeated the purpose of booking so close to the venue of the show we were going to that night. There were no other options to get ready unless using the gym or public toilets in the foyer. We also expected friends to arrive and we all had to wait in the foyer. OTHER THAN THIS... everything was perfectly fine. But would hope that if systems went down again, there'd be other options instead of sitting in the lobby.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness throughout the property was excellent. The facilities were well-maintained and had everything we needed. The gym was just alright—basic but fine for a quick workout. The location was also great—close to everything we needed and very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

There was no bottled water provided in the room, and the common water fountain on our floor wasn’t working, which was really inconvenient. For the price, bottled water should definitely be included. The room itself was also quite small for the price we paid. Additionally, the shower products (shampoo and conditioner) had a very strong, overly masculine scent. I don’t usually have sensitive reactions, but the smell was overpowering and unpleasant.

The location was pretty good not far from starship hospital and not far from the restaurants we had reservations at all within good walking distance. The staff were really helpful & friendly loved the buffet breakfast included in our room rate, and the bar there in the lobby was the best, rooms were nice and clean beds very comfy. Having the water refills on every level is a great idea too have never seen that before. This beautiful hotel exceeded me & my wife's expectations best one we have stayed at in Auckland and we have stayed at a few.

The hotel was beautiful with wonderful views, but it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that stood out! The 20th floor bar was closed for a private event during the only time I could go, but Cieran personally took me up there so I could see and take pictures! Wow! The staff in the restaurant were so awesome and friendly. I talked with the restaurant manager after the coffee machine stopped working - he personally brought me coffee, and I watched him cleaning tables, carrying dirty dishes, whatever it took to make things work well. Bravo! Same at the front desk - so friendly and helpful! All around wonderful people, that really made the difference!

They were positioned at the top end of Queens Street, about a 15-minute walk to the harbour. The staff were amiable, and the service was excellent, as it was a hectic weekend in Auckland. We had breakfast, room service, and drinks at the Queens Head. All great. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. The concierge was excellent and super helpful.

Bed was little uncomfortable and was on wheels so it moved quite dramatically when I leant to put on my shoes and I ended up on the floor!

Loved the room, the comfort of the bed and pillows. The spaciousness of the bathroom and the overall cleanliness of the whole hotel seemed to be a priority - which is what you want as a guest. All the facilities were immaculate, quiet and clean

There was nothing in the room for eating, such as plates, cutlery etc. I had to pop downstairs to reception/bar to grab what I might need. Also, the entrance was hard to find, the GPS took me the wrong way, and since I am not from AKL it took me a while to find the entrance, I parked in a local carpark and walked down until I found the entrance.

Impressed with the room and the bed was first rate. Having never stayed there before we did not know what to expect but will definitely stay there again. It was amazing value for money.

I looked online to see whether there was car parking available but there is no mention of a car park. We left our car with friends and travelled to the hotel by Uber. Mentioned this to the reception and was told valet parking was available- we will do this in future- but it would have been really helpful to have had that as part of your marketing.

The hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere. The reception manager was exceptional! I had already noticed that he was quite attentive and helpful to other guests with requests : However, when I needed his attention he was taking care of several other people’s needs. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was aware of my waiting to ask a question. When I did ask, he quickly and happily got just what we needed, then made an extra effort to further help us.

Was a quality stay

The location. Right in the heart of the city, many places to explore. Loads of different types of shops nearby, food, clothing etc, need more activities to do around the area besides walking around or going for a ride on a lime scooter.

The room, it was comfy and cosy but I wanted the one with a balcony but I know we can't get what we want all the time. and the way the valet drivers were driving my car, very reckless as they thought we weren't around to see.

Exceptional hotel which i cant beleive ive never stayed at in Auckland! The rooms were lovely and reception was really cool with lots of little extra touches that made you realise you were staying somewhere special. Prompt and courteous staff and check in/out was seamless. The churchill roof bar was FABULOUS!!!

Actually getting into the hotel is a bit hard due to the roadworks and the footpath up off queen street is very uneven..... all of this is outwith the hotels control though - and definately worth the annoyance!
