The price!! Great value for Central Auckland. Two rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. The walk from the hotel to the main shops/restaurants was about 800 metres downhill, but there were a lot of eating places nearby, including a Chinese takeaway, convinence store,and bottle shop all at the bottom of the hotel.

2 things. The hotel was located at the top of a 800 metre incline, a very, very steep hill. An easy walk down, but a struggle back to our room. Number two was a Goldilocks situation with the beds, one was too hard (concrete slab hard), luckily, the other bed was just right.

The room was well appointed with two seperate beds and two separate showers. The beds were comfortable the room was quiet (mainly, there was a little road noise) but it is in the centre of a big city. Being located in the centre of a university town the food choice was incredible. Access to various entertainment and cultural activities was on the doorstep and we found a street at the rear of the property where we could park for free after 6pm until 08:00am.

The room was part of a tower block which took a little finding because I was not expecting a tower block. Also the Road layout was unusual as I was driving a hire car and relying on SatNav.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were spacious. I ordered two bedrooms for my daughter and her 2 sons. It was clean and very fresh, with a balcony over the city and the staff were amazing. I stay in hotels all the time and last week I stayed in a 5 star hotel in the city. This one was so much better regarding cleanliness and staff that are willing to help.

There was nothing I didn't like. They weren't cheap on the extra things like different smellies in the bathroom, coffee, and real sugar, not creamers. However, Im a sugar freak so try to put more sugar sachets in the cupboard.

The beds were very comfortable, best we'd slept in in weeks, with lovely cotton bedlinen. It was very much value for money. The 2 receptionists were very helpful, both pleasant and friendly. When we left, we asked them to store our luggage till later in the day and they were very obliging, and helped with our Uber booking as well. Thank you.

The kitchen area was very bijou with hardly any workspace, only 2 burners and a very small fridge on the floor below with hardly any freezer space. Adequate crockery and cutlery. The bedrooms were also bijou with hardly any space between the bottom of the bed and the wall.

The rooms where nice and warm with everything we needed for a home away from home with our family. Easy to find and the staff were great at answering our questions. baggage stored could 't be easier.

The location was a little hard on the legs with it being up hill. We did ask for our room to be serviced each day, which it wasn't, leaving us with wet towels sine staff had finished for the day before we noticed.

It felt safe with key card entry at the front door. The staff were very friendly and helped me in a timely manner. It is very close to the city and you cannot hear a lot of road noise at night.

The rooms were very hot due to no air conditioning. There were 3 fans which helped but the rooms got quite unbearably hot at times. The wifi worked well on my phone and laptop but the TV was very slow and glitchy.

Rooms are cozy. Have a tiny kitchen and equipment is sufficient. Having a living room is quite convenient. They offer check in at late night, it is easy to find the staff for assistance. Easy checkout too.

The instructions are a bit not clear for the wifi. The router did not have set up instructions, and it is not located in the living room, instead it is in one of the bedrooms. Do not have parking. Closest one is the Wilson which is very poor in terms of the technology. Otherwise need to park on the street. Said there is a gym, but don’t know which floor and staff did not mention. Also said the towels and accessories will be changed daily but not really.

The room was very comfortable, and we could see the Sky tower which was lovely at night. Bit of a building site outside but the kids loved watching the huge crane working. Great having two bathrooms.

There was nothing for the kids to drink, eg hot chocolate would have been nice and minimal teabags etc but enough for what we needed.

The lady at the reception on Saturday 6th April was very lovely and understanding. She was well spoken and kind and also explained all rules perfectly. Unfortunately our key had been stolen however she amended the charge and was willing to explain to her manager what had happened on our behalf. I just want to thank this lady sincerely as she has made our experience so much more better. We wish this lady a wonderful week ahead :)

super cute rooms, like a little apartment! staff were super friendly and great location. our room came with a balcony even tho one wasn’t mentioned in the description.

our toilet didn’t flush properly, was a bit concerned it was going to affect our bond but thankfully it didn’t. Rooms were also super small but perfect for a one or two night stay.
