There was a lot of space. It was great there was a washing machine.

There was no soap in the dispensers.

Spacious apartment, with good city and ocean views, close to the hospital and university. Kitchen was stocked with saucepans, bowls, plates and crockery for cooking - ample space in fridge, microwave and dishwasher for our needs too. large bathroom and included laundry + clothesline, and desks to study were a bonus. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Convenient and cosy for a 2 week stay with friends - a lot of eateries nearby and easy to walk into the CBD.

Note the apartment is cleaned and restocked every 5 days - we ended up buying more soap and shampoo as soap dispensers are left empty and small tubes not enough (and seemed like excessive waste to ask for more).

The room had everything I needed. The dishwasher and washing machine meant traveling with a baby was easy. They even facilitated my request for a high chair in the room. Nice big, new TV and excellent wifi. The kitchenette has a stove, oven, microwave, and a good sized fridge. The bed was comfy. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. I’m so glad I cancelled my Airbnb and booked this instead. I would stay here again!

The couch had seen better days and the room needed a much better vacuum, but everything else was very clean. The frying pan had been scratched to death by previous guests but there were 2 saucepans in good condition, a baking tray, toaster, kettle, etc.

The hotel itself was located right in the dead centre of town, it was easy to walk and explore the city also. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

While it was great to have parking on the property it was difficult to navigate, we were okay but would be weary if you were are not a confident driver. This was well remedied with a parking building close by - the hotel even had a helpful map with directions.

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT, GREAT VIEWS.

I didn't have the correct credit card as it was a work trip, so i asked if i could pay for the parking, park my car then come back and sort out the room booking and was told "no" quite rudely, I have stayed here every time i go to Auckland as i love the location, the views, the apartments and (call me creepy) the cemetary next door. But not allowing me to do this one simple thing was crazy, I risked getting a ticket because the booking - although I had confimation they had the credit card on file - wasn't complete and the staff member wasn't listening to the most practical way of fixing it... he just kept repeating the carparks are for guests only... Well I was staying, i was a guest, my work had just not done something right and i was trying to get ahold of someone to sort it.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Nesuto. It truly offers great value for money—the rates were very reasonable considering the quality of the accommodation. The location is extremely accessible, making it easy to get around whether you're walking, using public transport, or driving. One of the standout features for me was how clean and well-maintained everything was. From the lobby to the rooms, everything felt fresh and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and convenient place to stay!

Nothing to unlike

We loved the location, how clean the place was, comfortable beds, amazing views, had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Auckland. The staff were really friendly and easy to communicate with.

The one thing we didn’t like but not the hotels fault was the tight steep ramp coming down into the parking lot. One thing it needs are sensors on the gate for it not close until the vehicle is through. We had a bt50 with roof racks and we just fit under the roof due to the steep ramp. But this is not a criticism towards the hotel.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was drafty because it's an old building, but the heater did its job. I felt secure in the building because one has to use their room card to get in and out of the garage and to use the elevators. The location was very close to the UOA Health Sciences building, where I needed to be for 2 full days of lectures, so I was able to just walk over. I was also very pleased that staff had no problem letting me leave my car parked until later in the day that I checked out--I came back and got it to drive home after my lectures. All in all I am very pleased and will be booking again for my next on-campus learning days block next month.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Close to starship hospital. Price. The workers. The comfy beds. Large bedrooms. Free laundry. Winning!!!! With all the old furniture and other things stored in car park, the laundry room set up in what use to be a room and the breakfast room looking like it could be the next storage room, it's clear work is being done - maybe an upgrade or something. I would honestly stay there again!!!!

Rugged furnishings and dirty blinds. Pipes in bathroom, Cleary for washing machine, exposed. Car park and price - not that we didn't like the car park, it was just freaky as to get and move around lol. You NEED a small car.
