Great, modern facilities and love the spa and pool.

Would've been great to be told at start that everything in our fridge was included as part of the room rate.

Everything was amazing from the porters to the receptionist but the club lounge service was exceptional especially the lady who was at the eggs and pancakes station she was outstanding!! The new fitness centre gym is state of the art amazing! We loved seeing a range of employee’s. Age, gender ethnicity and inclusion is not and issue for y’all CONGRATULATIONS!!!

There was a musty smell on the level of the spa. When you come out of the lifts that area for at least 40 metres going towards the gym and swimming pool.

It was my husband's birthday and I had mentioned this on booking. When we entered our room, it was decorated with happy birthday balloons and a little chocolate cake ( so delicious!), with happy birthday on it awaiting our arrival. This was organized by Cordis, which was so thoughtful and greatly appreciated! A lovely surprise.

When we booked superior king room, it said children stay for free. But on check in we had to pay $90 for a rollaway bed for our child. They told us free meant using one bed - king size fits 2 adults n 1 child. Some of the complementary toiletries were missing- they listed all the items, but a few were not there.

Great reception on arrival (and it was very busy) - kids loved candyfloss and kid's pack was well received. Think we might have been upgraded, as wasn't expecting to see Sky Tower from room (we did have someone with us having a birthday, which we mentioned at check-in - so that might be why). Lovely staff, especially restaurants & bars - calm under pressure, breakfast on Sunday was FULL ON, and managed very well. Kids loved chocolate fountain and ice-cream for breakfast - and the pool, although it was very busy on the Sat. Loved the cold water fountain on each floor for top ups after complimentary water finished.

Ran out of towels at pool, so might pay to take robe & towels from room just in case to avoid a trip back to room!

Rooms were lovely and felt newly decorated. Comfy bed, clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was great, 2 chocolate fountains! Staff were great. Daughter received a fun kids pack on arrival, she was chuffed. Pool was great, so was spa. Would highly recommend staying here. Price included breakfast, and when comparing to similar or lower hotels pricing was superior.

Hardly anything. But I know the area well and wouldn’t hang around outside for long, plenty of homeless etc around. It’s always been the case in this area, so no surprises. I didn’t stay here to walk or spend time nearby, we spent time in the viaduct and taxi’d so it wasn’t a problem. Not a complaint at all from my perspective.

Exceptional ! Staff were the highlight . So helpful, efficient and made our stay a dream. Club Lounge is worth every penny . Didn't have to wait in the Lobby to check in , we got to skip the ques in the lobby . We were escorted to head up to Club Lounge for delish delights and check in with ease @ the Club Lounge area. Pool and spa was amazing. Temperature was Hot in the spa which is perfect in Winter and the pool a good swimming Temperature. Room was Executive Doubble Room for two mum and daughters . It was spacious with good views of Skytower, Harbour Bridge , Harakiri Gulf ocean . Club lounge. Perfect mother's break from cooking and cleaning. Highlight was the Buffet Breakfast @ 8 Resturant. Shuttle Bus : We walked from the hotel to the Ferry to catch it to Devenport. Highly recommend! Stop at the Devenport Chocolate and the Navy Muesem with kids the playground and beach was a perfect picnic spot . Then on return the Cordi Bus at Customs & Queen Street opposite H&M , outside The Bank .. the shuttle saved our sanity with tired little legs . And it was warm with a friendly bus driver . We will do this every year at least twice a year.

This will always be our go-to whenever we want to go for a Staycation simply because my kids love it! They feel like they are special receiving those goodie bags and a free ice cream! :) Staff are also extremely friendly! They will really make you feel that you are a valued guest.

When we arrived in our room, there was no complimentary water, no milk, almost empty coffee/tea tray though I didnt bother much, maybe they just simply forgot. Pool is always packed too whenever we stay there. Will aim to book during off peak season next time and will try to stay at the Pinnacle tower, looks much better

I like staying here with my whānau. We enjoy the pool area especially.

We realised we had left our personal pillow there late in the evening after we had checked out early Sunday morning at 7.45am.Phone calls were made to explore this by myself and my husband to which we were told nothing was handed in.Given it was the only pillow on the bed with a black pillow case just blows my mind that this was not noticed.We were both informed that we will get call backs,it’s now Tuesday night and have not heard anything.We stay out of Auckland and will be returning there tomorrow to go talk to someone.This really sucks.

The fact that your management does not know and does not vet the 3rd party booking companies. The one that I got booked with (Algotel thru Trivago) is absolutely shit. And the disappointing thing is that the Hotels default answer is that you don’t deal with 3rd party bookings. And this was an error by the 3rd party as well. But funnily enough, 85% of the funds come into the Hotel. So I would have expected some sort of an appreciation or even help to change the date. Since I wasn’t allowed, and since I didn’t want to lose almost $600 for a no show, I needed to purchase more airfare to come and visit Auckland when I didn’t need to. The booking is on the 26th of May - 28th of May under John Fernando. If you check, I have stayed at the Cordis so many times.
