We like the facilities of the hotel as it is adopting the new technology. The bed os very comfortable and we had a very good aleep during the period of our stay. The cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel made our stay comfortable. I have also booked for an accomodation with early check in and late check out which the hotel efficiently deliver our request. We have also free ride from the airport to the Rydges hotel and the Driver "Chuan Liu" waited for us early at the airport and patiently waited for us until we came out from the airport.

Its juat a minor issue. Its about the WIFI connectivity at the hotel is a bit slow and We hope that the hotel will adopt in more cultural friendly hotel by considering of putting their toilets of "bidet" - some people still prefer to have bidet apecially mostly asians and people from middle east and western countries.

I had a fantastic stay! The beds were absolutely exceptional – hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The staff were friendly, approachable, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room and bathroom were spotless, and I especially loved the large shower head. Breakfast was good, and the morning staff were just as warm and helpful. I also appreciated the change of rooms from a queen bed to a twin room due to me being with my daughter at no extra cost.

I was disappointed that after going down to reception—due to the in-room phone not working—I was advised that room service had stopped at 9pm. The next morning, I noticed a sign at reception stating that while the full menu stopped at 9pm (due to the restaurant closing), a limited menu was still available after that time. It would’ve been helpful to have that clarified at the time. Despite this, I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

I loved the man who checked us in, he was sooo friendly and super helpful he made an effort to connect with me and offered me extra help when he noticed i was on a knee scooter. After finding out we were there for a special occasion he kindly gave us a late check out as well. The next day when he saw me again he remembered me and was still so kind and greeted me. Everyone was actually very helpful and friendly. Smiles all around and super welcoming and accommodating.

The drinks at the bar during happy hour was inconsistent, the alcohol level kept changing, or kept running out of ingredients.

The rooms were very comfortable. The shower water pressure was even and easily adjustable and the bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. The small coffee and snack outlet in the foyer was a definite bonus.

I could not hear audio on my phone, this was reported but was not fixed before my stay ended. The barman, Carl, was very rude to one our party when she queried why she hadn't received her drink and he had continued to serve and supply drinks to other guests that came after her, he told her curtly, he was busy serving guests (like she wasn't one) When he finally did bring her drink to the table he put it down very roughly without a word of apology for the delay

Property was in a good location. Was quiet compared to other Hotels in the area

The extra charges. They charge for valet parking each day even if you don’t use your car. I was charged $40 for Hirage of a broken umbrella that didn’t even work If you order and pay for a double shot drink at the bar you only get a single shot. They have a excuse that this is all They can give. Begs the question of what you would get if you only ordered a single shot. Breakfast was quite expensive for what you get. I went to SOL Hotel for breakfast 1 day and for an extra $10.00 the quality of the food was a lot better.

Location, provided breakfast

Our room shower drain was blocked water was draining but very slow so as you’re showering the water fills up inside the shower, contacted reception a staff attended and said its draining just monitor and call back if any further issues, would’ve expected to be moved to a different room and have the drain unblocked or rectified. Also booking confirmation clearly stated a security cash deposit of $200 would be collected on arrival, however upon arrival was told it was instead of $200 cash it was $300 and had to be on a card as we booked 3 x rooms so $100/room this was never stated in the confirmation so would’ve been nice to have that stipulated clearly on the email for people to make sure they have that sorted before their arrival

The view from the room was fantastic, the room was well equipped, it was clean and the bed comfy. Room service meals were delicious, buffet breakfast adequate. Overall great value for money for an inner City hotel.

The buffet breakfast could have had a better range of vegetarian options. Getting to breakfast and checking out from the 7th floor was complicated by 2 of the 3 elevators not working, adding major wait time delays (we opted to use the stairs to get to breakfast, which ended up leading us outside onto the street!). The parking arrangements weren't that clear but at least there was parking available nearby unlike some inner City hotels.

Check-in was easy, the staff were very friendly, and the room service was speedy and delicious! Great location as it's close to pretty much everywhere in the city center. I stayed initially for 2 nights but extended my stay for another night and I'm not sure if on the last night they gave me a bigger room because the one I had booked was unavailable but I had a full kitchen, washing machine and a robe. So I was most surprised to walk into my room and see the size of it!

I think there was a bit of a mix up with the room service for my last night as a holding charge had been put on my card for my first two initial nights. I paid my bill for my first room service but kept the holding charge as I was staying for another night in a different room. When I went to order for my last night I was told that I would either have to go down to reception as I didn't have enough credit on my account (When I should've had $100 on my card) or I would have to pay via card when my drinks were brought up to my room. When the guy came up I then asked him if I needed to pay and he just told me to pay when I leave so I'm not sure what that was all about.

Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

Staff at reception weren't overly helpful or friendly. On arrival we were asked straight away for payment. There was no hello, how are you, how was your flight etc. The staff member wasn't able to guide us where to go for a meal. We have never been to Auckland before. On two other occasions other staff members were also vague or unsure how to assist us with questions we had.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to where I wanted to go. The room and bed was comfortable and very clean. The bar and restaurant was nicely positioned with good atmosphere.

My only gripe was that one of my meals was not enjoyable. I pointed it out to the young staff member and when I explained the issue, she took my plate and placed it through the servery. I wanted the chef/cook to see the issue but she never returned so I never found out what happened.
