The family room is very big with two bathrooms, two queen beds and two single beds. This hotel provides a car park for free. The location is near the central, just walking there. It is very convenient to stay here. The price is valuable.

The room is a bit old, but it is a reasonable price for the condition. Only one that I dislike , this is only the hotel on my trip in New Zealand that I need to write down the credit card number on the hotel paper when I check in. I feel it is not safe at all. I think there are several better ways. The hotel can hold some money on my credit and return the holding money back if the room is not damaged, or the hotel can check the condition of the room straight away when I check out. How do I know that you already destroyed my credit card number? It is high risk to be leaked to others.

We had the 2 bedroom family apartment with full kitchen and washing machine. The facilities were a godsend given we were travelling for a national sport tournament.

Only negative things were the double bed had really bad roll together which wasn’t ideal for someone who’s recently had spinal surgery and the shower water pressure was more of a trickle. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We stayed in the two bedroom unit. Up stairs with no lift, so not accessible but had a spacious living area and good sized bedrooms. Separate toilet and bathroom. Decent small kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. Very well laid out and comfortable. Sufficient parking at the motel. We walked into town easily - never took a taxi.

The only issue was the shower which was quite dreadful. No pressure at all and you had to turn it all the way to hot to get more than lukewarm, and then it was over-hot. But having said that the other elements of the apartment outweighed the issue with the shower and I would stay again.

The motel was in a great location with free parking. The room was huge and had all of the basic amenities we needed. Everything was clean and the staff were responsive and solved a small issue we had that was greatly appreciated. The TV also had sky which was good.

The kitchenette would've benefitted from a small stove top and it was very noisy at night due to construction works taking place directly outside the motel.

Like on door step Close to CBD restaurants Close to hugh skatepark Bit nosey but more as chch inner city now designed as one way streets Eat plug at reception Id definitely stay again as great price Heater Beside subway

Flexibility towards my arrival time. Clear instructions with how to access room with no staff being present due to late arrival. Clean rooms and bathroom and beds were very comfortable

I thought the mini bar was a bit pricey. Milk should definitely be supplied. There were tiny milk capsules in fridge but wasn’t near enough. There were bigger milk cartons, 250ml I believe in mini bar that one had to pay for?

The city central motel is a short walk into the city centre. We appreciated the service the staff provided as we rang the day of checking to inform them, we were coming on the tranzalpine train from Greymouth and would be checking in after reception closed. They were able to then provide us with the necessary codes to get our key to our room. Apartment was huge. Very spacious with a full kitchen and bath and shower. Had a washing machine which would be handy for travellers,

the room had a small self serviced kitchen equipped with everything we needed for our 2N stay closer to city. walking distance to all city centre locations

was very much on the road lots of mosquitoes in kitchen n bathroom not much ventilation unless you open door n then it feels you r literally on the road room service not that great no vacuum if carpet done or bathrooms wiped next day though beds were made n towels changed

This centrally located hotel looks very ordinary, however, we found it ideal for a one night stay at the end of our trip. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, satellite television, small kitchenette and good shower … all at an inexpensive cost. In addition, we were available to leave our car in the hotel car park for a couple of hours after checking out, to wonder the city before heading to the airport.

Good size Apartment with a very sunny Bathroom. Kitchenette was well equipped including a Fridge. Comfortable Bed and ample TV Channels to choose from. Arriving after-hours was not a problem and a key was left in a safe-deposit box with an access code Text during the day. Was a leisurely walk into the City for shopping and restaurants etc.

Was exciting to see construction of the new Christchurch Stadium across the road & some traffic noise was expected. However the Double-Glazing in the Apartment kept the noise level to a minimum. City Central Motel Apartments will certainly be in an ideal location when the Stadium is completed and in use.
