The location was fantastic, so much was within walking distance - especially multiple food options (everything from KFC to a Danish waffle house, Korean chicken and an Irish pub to name only a few). There were easy to access convenience stores too. The room was very clean and staff super friendly, with everything we needed. The room was very clean and tidy with all the necessities. If you don't take the lift and take the stairs, the glass windows show the tram below and offer a great view. The decor is classy and gently excentric but comfortable with lots of places around to sit and read or play chess if you don't want to be stuck in your room.

The air con made life a little difficult for us. We couldn't turn it off (winter in Christchurch at around 0degrees at times) but if we had it on overnight, even on low, it dried the skin out and we woke up feeling very dehydrated. I am not sure what the solution would be. Also, parking was fairly expensive at $30 a night but it was very convenient to be able to park so close. There were parking buildings around that weren't too far away, but this was the most convenient and probably a competitive price.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel 115. The location is super central, yet surprisingly quiet. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and we were lucky enough to get a balcony as requested. Watching the trams pass by underneath was a really unique and enjoyable experience. A special shout-out to BH at reception (sorry not sure of her name, just saw her initials on the parking slip), who went above and beyond to help when my phone stopped working. She kindly directed me to the nearest Spark store and were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend Hotel 115 for anyone looking for a clean, central, and welcoming place to stay!

Boutique Hotel in Christchurch CBD. Perfect location, especially if you enjoy the Christchurch tram which runs essentially "through" the hotel. We loved it. Our room was in a great location with lots of shops, restaurants and other entertainment close by. We had a basic room with a comfortable bed, side tables, small table, overhead fan, closet/armoire unit with adjacent fridge, kettle and tea/coffee. Nice shower/bathroom. Very large window which gave us a nice city view. Window opens a bit for ventilation. On-site parking. Very attentive staff. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

Overhead fan was noisy on medium and high so we had to run it on low. No AC in room which is mostly OK except for really hot days. I wish the side tables had one small drawer and I wish there was a small chest of drawers for clothes in the room.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked to move from one room to another due to difficulty sleeping with street noise and a medical condition due to an accident during our trip. They helped us upgrade and make the switch promptly. The second room was ideal for us! We also loved the location.....lots of shopping, restaurants, and things to do near by. There were several seating areas in the hotel with nice, sunny exposures.

The first night we experienced street noise from the bars at either end of the street.

Central location and small quiet boutique environment with a carpark was what we were looking for and exactly as we wanted for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Very much lived up to expectations and would definitely use again although noted that the carpark had been sold so would be careful of that

Very clean and tidy and quiet but in same ways showing its age. Toilet clean but a bit stained on bottom, same as sealant around the sink plug hole. Toilet too close to sink - could sit and rest arms on basin. Fridge setting too cold and froze drink bottles solid. Terrible reception for TV when raining. For 1.5 days we mostly had ‘No signal’ on screen so had to give up.

Hotel 115 was a perfect location in the heart of the city. It was clean, had a comfortable bed and desk (perfect for anyone travelling for working) and was very close to excellent restaurants, cafes and attractions (including the quaint trams and funky New Regent Street). It was also quiet at night and hence perfect for a good nights rest. I arrived after midnight and the late night check in worked perfectly. I would strongly recommend this to visitors and would stay there again.

Love this property- lots of character, beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. Love how you can easily use the stairs for exercise or the lift if you have bags. It’s boutique and well presented - right down to the aroma reeds in the bathroom.

The only thing I think needs upgrading are the TVs - they are not smartTVs so you can’t login to any streaming platforms and watch your fav program. I found this quite disappointing when I stayed for 5 days recently and didn’t have anything to watch 🥲

Room was small, but very cute. Location great, close to everything in the central city. The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle from the balcony, and the tram driving right underneath us.

The bed was uncomfortable, but assume only because it's different to what we are used to. Our only real complaint was there was no air conditioning. The room was mid to high 20 degrees when we entered. We had to buy a fan and keep doors and windows open our entire stay. This room would be lovely in winter.

Then staff is friendly and helpful. The parking right next door to the property was convenient. The Mayfair Suite was clean and large, with a seating area, large dining area and a large bedroom. Hotel 115 is perfectly located, close to the tram, restaurants, shopping, and a coin laundry, and a short drive to local attractions like the Antarctic Center. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet.

It would be useful to have a kitchenette with a smaller refrigerator- there is plenty of room in the suite to add one!

Loved the quirky and thoughtful decor, including little communal sitting areas on each level. The room felt fancy. Plenty of room, the bed was large and the pillows comfy. Nice view from our window across the street to the government building. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot and the tram is right there too.

Getting to and from the carpark into the hotel was slightly tricky and parking was an extra expense (but possibly no different to other hotels in the city centre).
