Excellent location. Can walk everywhere in Christchurch from here and such a lovely city to walk about. Parks, river walks, botanical gardens, quality restaurants everywhere. The tram is right outside the door though it has a short route and you can walk it easily and save the fee for lunch somewhere nice. The rooms are small, but fairly well equipped. Washer and dryer were great.

So glad we did not do an after hours check in. Got there 30 minutes before closing. Would have been difficult to find the room as it was in the Cathedral Junction center amongst other businesses and hard to spot the Quest signage.

Location, Location, Location…. It is right above the Tram station and is totally central. Tough to beat this one. The reception lady was rather elusive and not really helpful. It was tough to get her to help is few aspects that we asked for. This was surprising as right though my communication and even when I called, the people were very friendly and helpful. The room was at the back wing (Not where the reception is) so it was a bit cumbersome to lug the luggage as we have few with us. The room was clean and spacious. The bed comfy and nice. Linen and towels were clean and good. But it did not have much of a vibe – it was very cold vibe for us.

The issue we faced was with parking as it is very inconvenient to park there even to unload luggage and then being in the center of the city there was other inconveniences if you are driving.

Location is bang on, easy walking to all eateries, and main shopping, Riverside Markets and casino (if you into that) actually we watched the Rugby there on Sat night so was grt 👍

Only 2 things that were minor really, the sofa and chair in lounge so not comfortable and if you do a wash load of clothes, my suggestion is do the wash separately then set the machine to dryer, then you really have to Google the settings to get it right, but if it taxes your brain to much lol there's a laundromat right down stairs in the plaza so real handy

I booked two rooms, a one bedroom apartment for our overseas friends and a studio for my husband and I. The rooms were next to each other. The one bedroom apartment was large, comfortable and very well appointed with a full kitchen, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. Our studio was very large for a studio, and was comfortable with a king size bed. Our studio had a fridge, microwave and electric kettle. Cutlery and crockery were changed daily in the studio if they had been used. The location was perfect as it was right above where the trams leave from to do the city tour, but we were not aware of any noise.

It was quite warm in the rooms but a free standing air conditioner was provided.

Great location,, well appointment apartment and check in and check out very easy. Well fitted apartment. Wish the spare bed we needed had been set up rather than us having to work out set up (easy once you worked out which catches to release). Plenty of milk cartons. We used it as a base to visit family Would have been good to have a little mini hoover or hand held hoover so we could vacuum as we wanted Trams were running quite late and there was an outdoor music festival which was very loud but all out of the control of quest

Perfect location for accessing different parts of the city. Bus stop just around the corner, great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs depending on what you’re feeling like. Quiet and comfortable for the most.

The lounge and armchair were not very comfortable for sitting in. They were very low to the ground and after a long day of walking around, just took that bit extra to get up from! We missed out on parking for the first night of 4, so we had to use the public parking in the open lot next door. It worked out pretty expensively and we had to keep going back to top it up to extend the 24 hour coverage until we could access the hotel’s carpark

The location was awesome...1min walk to the venue of the concert I came down for. 3-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to and from the airport ($8 return, so cheap and better than the $78 Uber return). Great food place options right outside the hotel entrance, bottle store, cafe, hairdressers, and the old cathedral as your neighbor. Staff were great, quick, and really helpful. I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment as well. It was spacious and had everything I needed and more. Great

Smoke alarm kept going off in my original room, and there was no bin in my upgraded room. But to be honest, they were fixed easily.

Central location, right next to tram, New Regent Street and Cathedral square - so easy access to almost everything. easy walking distance to Restaurants like Mumbaiwalla, Bahn Mei Kitchen for pho. Quick tram ride to stop 4 Riverside Markets and stop 13 Botanic Gardens. Reception staff very obliging/ helpful. One night was in one building, a second stay was in the other with access inside the Cathedral Junction arcade area. A minor matter when it came time to check out. Staff called taxi for me - everything went smoothly. Only disruption was someone outside singing late at night - out on street. Otherwise, a great place to base yourself.

Location prohibits always having parking access outside check-in/entrance due to tram. Worked out in the end. Not having dining in-house wasn't an issue - lots of eateries in New Regent Street plus Child Sister nearby.

Awesome spot, right in the centre of Christchurch. Being in the same building as the city tram is super helpful. The proximity of the tram stop and being able to hear the evening tram restaurant bump along and do its thing adds a really nice character to the room.

The double bed was actually two singles taped together, and you can feel the ridge between them. It makes for a high ridge point between two otherwise comfortable beds, and therefore could give you some back pain in the morning.

The room was of a good size and quality, with a comfortable bed. The shower was amongst the most soothing ve ever had at a hotel, feeling almost like a massage. It was also fairly quiet, especially with the tram underneath the hotel stopping at around 5pm. I arrived slightly earlier than my check in time, but the ladies behind the counter was very friendly and allowed me in the room earlier. The TV was decent enough, although the power cable kept coming loose.

The only minor complaint I would really have is that whilst the tram stopped earlier enough, the lights from the shopping area stayed on long into the night, and the morning, and the curtains could only stop so much light. Other than that, it was a fairly solid experience.
