The Adina Heritage is ideally located within easy walking distance of the central shopping district and many of the area attractions. Right across the street is the main terminal for the On/Off tram that circles the historic areas. Our room was HUGE, with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom, complete with a clothes washer and drier. We enjoyed a complete kitchen with everything needed.

The only bathroom is upstairs. Don't wait until the last minute (-: The kitchen should have a roll of paper towels included. There are several dish towels.

A superb location, very close to the tram and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The hotel was formerly a government office building with wide hall ways and very high ceilings. The rooms were quirky with the sleeping area built on an elevated platform above the kitchenette. Fully self contained with washing machine and clothes dryer, it is ideal for couples to spend a few days.

Not a personal criticism, but a certain amount of mobility is needed to access the sleeping area via a staircase.

This hotel is beautiful! The building and old and all the furnishings suited the style of building. Easy short walk to everything you would want. We used the pool and spa and it made for a very enjoyable stay. Having the bar attached meant we could pop down for a drink in the afternoon or before going out. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

$25 per night parking was expensive however cheaper than the car park across the road.

Lovely building, really nice luxury feel about it and our room/suite was perfect for what we wanted. The bar meal and drinks were great and the staff were all lovely and helpful.

Bathroom window sill was dusty and needed a proper clean. The trams run immediately outside the windows and they are loud. We actually didn’t mind this and liked the charm, but I’d said if you like quiet, then it may annoy you.

The rooms are good size, liked havy a full kichen, could do own breakfast. Felt like luxury from a bygone era. Fantastic location in central Christchurch.

Its not really a hotel, no bar/restaurant/communal area. More like serviced apartments. There is a separate business in same building which is a great bar that does food and has live music.

Simply brilliant space, the suites are such great value for money and good size, meaning everyone had more than enough space. The decor and style added a wow factor that the children loved. For them, this was the best hotel they had stayed in New Zealand. The location is perfect for the city within 2 mins walk to Cathedral square. Hereford Street multistory car park provided great accessible parking only 4 min walk from Hotel.

1909 Old Government Building, the exterior was so beautiful. After reading reviews, our family of four must stay at the hotel. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining, living room and a kitchen even provide washing and drying machine. Lots of space for our family. Very convenient location, short walk to shopping and restaurants. Valet parking at $30 a night.

Beautifully restored apartment in an historic building The room and location were perfect.

The tech could be updated. Having a smart TV with all the smart bits turned off is not... smart. SkyTV kind of makes up for it but not really in this day and age. And an iPod dock! Historically accurate.

The hotel building was very impressive, our room was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed and the spa and swimming pool facilities were an added bonus. The city centre location was perfect.

Although the room on a whole was clean there were a few minor bits that were missed, such as hair left in the bathtub.

It is so central in location. We could walk or catch a tram everywhere. Staff were friendly and efficient and room servicing was excellent.

Despite the fact that we asked for a quiet room and we’re told we got one, we all were disturbed by the dinging of tram bells regularly overnight. One night, an alarm went off and a building break-in with smashing glass. The alarm kept going on and on. Sleep was disturbed….sorry but not a great experience.
