Beautiful new and spacious rooms with great amenities and open design shower so no shower door. TV & Entertainment great with in house free movies. We could also cast our Netflix. Very spacious with good kitchen size and comfortable beds. On-site reception available. Parking available at an additional charge - I think $25 day. But very close to everything so walked to most places and took an Uber to train station/airport. Interconnecting room available so plenty of space for a family of 4.

We stayed 2 nights and when serviced on the next day, the staff removed crockery we used but forgot to replace it. Also they took away the door stopper on our interconnecting room.

We spent 4 nights at the Quest on Cambridge and couldn't have picked a better property. The photos do not do it justice because it is located across a quiet street from the river with beautiful old growth trees, yet, it's only a stone's throw from the Bridge of Remembrance and all the shopping and dining in the central district, so perfect location. It is very close to the bus stop (bus #8) from the airport. The hotel, which was built in 2023, has a full service reception desk and a friendly welcoming staff. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. Kitchenette was fully outfitted with everything needed if you wanted to prepare a meal. Washer and separate dryer are located in the bathroom and worked great. Bed VERY comfortable with nice linens. Great bedside lighting, lots of outlets and wi-fi worked perfectly. Bathroom had very good lighting. Good shower with abundant hot water, but use caution not to soak the floor (no glass door).

Nothing to dislike; would absolutely stay here again

The location of Quest on Cambridge is fantastic - right next to the river and a two-minute walk to the Riverside Market, CBD, trams, restaurants and bars. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the rooms are well laid out, well-equipped and superbly clean and comfortable.

There's nothing at all negative to say about Quest on Cambridge itself. However, our room was overlooking the street that runs along the river and we did have one night where a group of youngsters decided to park directly outside our apartment window, turn their car stereo up full and have a party until midnight on the street.

Quest on Cambridge is our go-to when we're staying in Christchurch CBD - the location is second-to-none....... a two minute walk over the bridge to the Riverside Market, trams and everything else the CBD has to offer. The staff are amazing, always polite and helpful, and when reception is un-manned, there is always clear instruction left. The rooms at Quest are beautifully decorated and furnished with modern, quality fittings. The beds are extremely comfortable and are always made up with bedding that feels luxurious. Despite being so close to the CBD, the rooms at Quest are lovely and quiet, allowing you to get plenty of rest.

Nothing to add here - we've stayed at Quest on Cambridge several times and have never found anything we didn't like! :-)

Property was clean and in an excellent location! The washer / dryer in the room was a good bonus, and two cleaning sachets were provided. Would definitely recommend.

I injured myself on the property at 9pm and everyone from reception had left for the day so we were told no one could help till 7am (very early for reception to close?). Also - the cups we used were just taken, not cleaned or replaced? So there were no cups for us to use on our second day - and reception had already gone home.

I arrived quite early and was still able to check in. The room was comfortable and clean, the washing machine and dryer was fabulous and easy to use, the shower was great, and the amenities were very good.

The TV didn't work properly, but was addressed as soon as I asked. There was limited space to spread out. The windows have a permanent green screen that limits viewing the outside and is a little weird. Many rooms have a lovely view of the river and the city, but you cannot see it because of the green screen covering the windows. This was the only real drawback of the room, especially on lovely days.

I loved this accommodation so much. It was modern and so clean. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality coffee and hot chocolate. The soaps and shampoos are top quality. Lovely comfortable linen and bed. The tv has tonnes of free movies. Easy check in and check out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They cleaned my room and made my bed everyday which was really nice to come back to after a long day of conference. Location is right on the Avon river which is gorgeous and a short beautiful stroll to all the restaurants. I will definitely stay again.

It's quite close to all the bars and restaurants so you can hear the party at night but it didn't bother me too much

Brand new, facilities are very minimal but clean and practical. Rooms are large and well designed with smart details like USB-C wall ports next to the bed for your devices. Bathroom is very nice and comes with washer/dryer. Wardrobe with hangers and iron. Bed was comfy and lighting in the room was nice too. Perfect location also - right next to the best part of the city centre and easy to walk anywhere.

While there is natural light there is no view - the windows are covered by the design on the outside of the building which creates a privacy screen, which is great for privacy but leaves you with no view of the spectacular riverside. Also no openable windows/fresh air.

Excellent city centre location in a quiet street, along the riverside and just 50 metres from the city centre check-in was very good and quick, the staff were very helpful, friendly and offered some good advice on getting around Christchurch and help on organising a taxi for very early morning departure to airport . The room was of a good size, very clean, comfortable and good cooking facilities. This property had only been open for business about 5 weeks before I visited, everything in the room was new the only thing lacking was advice document on how the stove actually worked, but the staff helped out with a practical demo

Nothing to dislike

Excellent location - close to everything in CBD. Apartment very modern and new. Very clean and comfortable feel. Excellent kitchen facilities and plenty of utensils supplied. Friendly and helpful staff - great service. Good car parking facility. Would recommend.

Only negative for us was just some music and bar noise on Friday and Saturday night - Sunday very quiet. Our apartment faced the main restaurant area - other side of Avon river but sound did travel. May not worry some but if noise does ask for rooms at back of apartments.
