Staff at all levels were professional and very helpful. Warm towel rails were a bonus. Spacious bathroom and plenty of soft, quality linen. All areas were clean and well maintained. Plenty of hanging space. Walking distance to many food outlets and close to main bus interchange. Cooking/warming facilities more than adequate. Rooms serviced daily. Shower has good pressure and easy control. Very quiet considering the amount of construction going on in the area.

The accommodation is set up more for short stays, than long stays. There are no drawers available to unpack personal items. The bedside lamps are too low for reading purposes with the switches difficult to operate at near ground level. There is no hook to hold hair dryer on the vanity and no soap dish in shower.

Good Location: The hotel is situated just a short walk from the city center. This made it easy to explore local cafes, bars, and attractions. ​ Well-Appointed Rooms: Our apartment was spacious and modern, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as in-room laundry facilities (washer and dryer). These amenities added a lot of convenience to our stay. ​ Comfortable Stay: The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. ​ Friendly Staff: The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Limited Ventilation: While the air conditioning worked well, the windows in our room couldn't be opened, which made it difficult to get fresh air. ​ Only One Luggage Rack: A classic hotel mystery—why provide just one luggage rack in a room meant for two people? Do they assume couples or friends travel with just one suitcase between them? It’s a small thing, but kind of annoying. Parking Constraints: Although on-site parking is available, spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance. We managed to find a spot, but it's something to consider during peak times. ​ Housekeeping Services: Daily housekeeping is not provided as a standard, which wasn't a major issue for our short stay, but longer-term guests might prefer more frequent service.

Location very good. Very near to the City centre. Even a tram stop about 100 mtr away. The Riverside Market is a walk of about 15 minutes. The Botanic Gardens walk about 20 minutes. We are from India. The nearby Bombay Bazaar was a big help. A 100 mtr away only. Very clean. Excellent housekeeping. We got housekeeping keeping service on a Sunday even. Very courteous staff. Nothing bad. All as expected. Our room was a bit small. But it is OK. The one bedroom apartment would have been a good option. Comfortable stay.

The location is good but surrounded by quite a bit of construction. It was very easy to move around. We told the counter staff about the beds being very saggy and we couldn't rest well. If the beds/mattress is replaced, then really there is nothing to complain about. The service is excellent and we really appreciate the gentleman at the counter for helping us bring our heavy luggage boxes to our car as I hurt my leg and couldn't manage. We forgot his name but he was professional and very kind. We want to appreciate him.

conveniently located. the room has all the amenities we needed. free parking. rather spacious.

somehow the reception didn't follow up with our request to have the towels changed on the last day. We reached after 7pm and couldn't get into the the reception (even after calling for help over the remote system) until one of the guest was making her way out of the property and opened the door for us. The room is rather noisy with the ventilation system turned on without an option for us to turn it off.

Handy to InterBus services. Could also walk to eateries ,shops, supermarkets had a kitchenette ,laundry facilities . Small room but had dining table ,lounge seating. Bedroom fair size ,loved the large mirrors, and a very hot shower with great pressure 😄

Very small wall mounted TV in lounge area .Did not like the Bedroom blinds.They let so much light in was like keeping a light on all night .

Excellent reception when we arrived to drop bags off (lady finished at 12). Was helpful and cheerful. Good parking. Nice clean room and shower. Good access off road system. Very nice restaurant The Monday Room around 200 metres away. Recommend

Room had only one window and that was high enough you could only see the top of buildings. Location a little way from shops. If it is raining you will get wet going anywhere. You need to remember to turn right when you leave the site - its one way. Perhaps a sigh by the entrance could help

Great place to stay right in the centre of Christchurch. We arrived on Christmas Eve and James and staff were really helpful with taking a grocery delivery for us before we arrived and put it in our room and even in the fridge, so that we had food for Christmas day. Above and beyond service. Large apartment and heaps of space. Well equiped. Air Conditioning was good to have but fans in the bedrooms would have been good also.

No fans in the rooms and we couldn't open windows to get fresh air. Not really specific to this property but seems to be in general throughout New Zealand.

It was a very pleasant stay. The washing maching available in the suite was a big bonus. There was nothing really to dislike, though the it was a bit of a walk into the Centre of town. We were pleased to find the Alice Cinema was only 3 blocks down the street, and Stop 7 on the site-seeing tram was close by.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the hotel was in a convenient location (close to a Woolworths and within easy walking distance of the city centre). Reasonably priced.

The layout of the 2BD apartment was a little odd - there was a separate dining area that looked like it should have been an outdoors area but wasn't. There were no windows that could be opened which meant no fresh air.
