The rooms at the Quest on Manchester were clean, modern and spacious. There was plenty of room to cook and eat in the room if you wished too. The bathroom shower/toilet was modern and very clean. The room even had a sensor night light for the late night toilet visit. We arrived late to the property and the after hours check-in process was quick and easy. The property is located a short walk (a couple of blocks away) from the centre of the Christchurch. When we met the day staff were friendly and helpful.

There is nothing about this property I didnt like. I wish were were able to stay a little longer.

I had requested an early check in as I arrived fairly early and the hotel was able to accommodate for that which I was very appreciative of. The room/apartment I was allocated was tidy and much more spacious than I assumed. The kitchen, living room and bathroom was well equipped and has everything you need (including washing machine and dryer). The bedroom was also very nice and the bed was great to sleep on. The hotel is within a 7-8 min walk to the shopping centre and central CHCH, so it’s perfect if you want to stay close but also if you want your own space. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and clear with all the instructions for the stay. Check in and checking out was fast and efficient. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who is here for a short or long term stay.

The room was very good for two people to stay a few nights. We enjoyed having a separate living and bedroom. The bathroom was good with washer and dryer facilities, a heated towel rack, and soft sensor lights so you didn't have to turn on the big light in the middle of the night. Complementary products such as washing powder and movies on the TV were also a major plus.

Unfortunately, the windows couldn't be opened in the room, which meant we had to use the aircon, which was also a bit hard to get right e.g. had to leave the bedroom door open at night. Pre-booking parking was an unnecessary hassle considering each room was "allocated" one spot, but worked out okay thanks to the staff at check-in.

Spacious, clean, well appointed room. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Washing machine was clean but dryer filter had not been cleaned by previous user. Good sized kitchen area with a good choice of utensils.

The night light in the bathroom was on a sensor and only worked intermittently. The dryer filter was not cleaned. The guide on the TV gave you no program information and was hard to navigate a chanel change. The garbage bin in the kitchen area was divided into recycling and landfill. The divider was so bulky that it was hard to put anything into it. There's a good sized kitchen and a tiny bin which made it difficult to cook a meal. I understand they want to recycle, but the bathroom bin was bigger. Please put a bigger bin in the kitchen.

Great size of room and a good range of facilities made this an ideal apartment for enjoying the city. Everything is comfortably within walking distance.

After-hours check-in service was poor. We arrived early evening with instructions to call through the intercom to gain entry. Unfortunately, neither that nor the service phone number was answered, leaving us and two other groups trying to find a way to check in.

Good location although about a 10 minute walk from town centre but lots of good places to eat nearby and a supermarket right across the road.

It was perfectly fine, but nothing special. The staff were polite but nothing beyond that. The location is ok but not the best. However having the kitchen facilities is nice and I would both recommend this property and stay again if the price was right. Also they charge $30 for a lost key card - not a key, a generic, plastic swipe card. That’s outrageous gouging.

It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Excellent location,so close to the central city. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook with. Pak n Save is 2 minutes walk away which was handy as. The bus interchange is 5 mins walk away which would be handy if you are day tripping by bus. The washing machine and drier in the bathroom is a good option too. If I ever come back to Christchurch this is where I will stay again.

It was all good except the bathroom door could do with oiling.

Manager was lovely and offered suggestions where best coffee was etc.... he was not wrong. The Quest is a stones throw from the inner city which made shopping an $8 uber back...lol. The bed was comfortable and the shower is really good. You can mirror your phone to the tv to watch all your streaming services. Yep i watched game kf thrones non stop. They have great plunger coffee for the room. The cleaning staff are lovely and helpful. It was a really pleasant stay.

Internet is open and not secured. I had a vpn so felt safe enough.

The apartment was very clean, quiet, well facilitated and the location was perfect.

I was very disappointed that although I had requested a room with 2 single beds, we were were given a room with a queen bed, then a stretcher for my 14 year old niece. This meant that the floor space in the apartment was restricted. I had booked well in advance, requested the twin bedroom upon booking and received confirmation that that was what I would get.
