My eldest son and mother were very happy with the service (which I thought was top rate also dealing with staff over the phone to arrange the booking. I was unable to travel at the last minute due to being ill. Mum and Will were warm, cosy and comrtable and felt safe and looked after.

My Will who slept in the master bedroom said he was kept awake and woken up by those living near by (noise from nearby residents which he thought were perhaps students)? Are the windows double glazed?

We loved the location and how dog friendly the owners are! Super happy to help with any questions and put us at the end of the row to not bother others! Nice big park down the road for the pup Room was super clean, lots of space even though we had a huge crate. Couch and tv to entertain. Bed was comfortable! Our room was super warm and we didn't even have the heater on

Only downfall was some other people upstairs who were quite loud using the stairs, but that's not on the owners!

I have stayed at the motel several times and it is always good value for money. It is located close to the university and within walking distance of the centre of town.

I arrived at the motel at around 7:45 pm and was surprised that reception was closed. I had to find a red button on the wall to press. Someone then can to the reception door and talked to me through the door (without opening it) to tell me how to access my room. It wasn't as welcoming as I had experienced in the past.

Everything :-) The room was very clean and the facilities were great. Good sized lounge/kitchen area and to have a separate bedroom from the lounge a plus. Everyone we meet from the Motel during our stay were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Our room was close to the road, so was a bit of road noise, but that is to be expected when located on a main road.

Stayed here last night and absolutely loved it. Friendly helpful staff, the room was very clean and had everything i could possibly need. Lovely comfy bed and pillows, and great water pressure in the shower. Was great to get given proper milk on arrival, not the awful uht stuff. Carpark right outside my room was very handy, the the folder with local information was really useful. I fully recommend Cable Court Motel, and would definitely stay here again

Very helpful staff and fantastic central location while remaining nice and quiet. The Bed was extremely comfortable and one of the nicest beds I Have ever had in a motel. Full oven and cooking facilities as well so I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking to stay in Invercargill

Loved that we could bring our dog. Receptionist was very helpful and had already switched heaters on in our room. Lovely to see a young person genuinely enjoying her job and checking we had everything we needed.

It is in a student area but we were not disturbed on a Friday night.

The manager was very helpful and clean room

Was noisy on the street. A lot of partying going on with college students a cross the way. And the girls advertising themselves through the windows all night long! Hard to sleep when they were hanging outside our window below. Just FYI

We just stayed overnight but it feels so homey. My mother in law slept comfortably and my toddler loves how spacious it is. Perfect for a family. The kitchen is complete and the room is so clean! Staff/owner/front desk person is so lovely and welcoming. Love the place! Will come back and stay here on our next roadtrip. Thank you!

The manager went out of his way to help and offered advice on where to get dinner and various other things. This is an unpretentious, friendly kiwi motel, that feels safe and comfortable. I'd stay here again.
