Self contained, near to supermarket & liquor store, it had a microwave, kettle and toaster if you wanted to cook but also near to fast food places like Macdonald's, KFC, Pizza hut etc for takeaways. A few bars & restaurants nearby on the way into Dunedin Centre. Easy to find from the Octagon in the Centre of Dunedin & the Central bus station. Right next to a petrol station, if driving, & good parking facilities.

Was a bit far if you had to walk into the centre of Dunedin (doable but a good 20+ mins) but excellent bus service if you buy a Bee Bus pass ( $5 plus min $5 top up) as all journeys are then $2 . You can then load the card via the bus driver, or at the I site info centres, to cover the number of journeys u are likely to make.

The staff were fabulous at a very bad time for me, it made a huge difference.

Only coment would be no cups and plates for visitors, a bit embarrassing as we would return from hospital and being under stress need a strong cup of coffee to help relax us,. Taking turns with 3 cups a time was not on for such a well run mote.

Being on the main road, we thought it may be a bit loud but the room was surprisingly quiet. We were kindly upgraded to a very spacious room with parking right outside our door. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was the most powerful so far on our journey

Great central location and was welcomed nicely on arrival. Nice quiet private studio. Easy to heat with both a heater and heat pump which was great to beat the evening chill. Would recommend to friends looking for a motel in Dunedin.

The unit itself was a little dated and the shower slippery.

Great location for settling children into university. Close to amenities, campus, and main city areas. Room (studio) was spacious, well equipped, and clean. Shower was amazing, bed comfortable, room quiet.

You could hear other guests through walls but was quiet after 10pm, so no issue.

Fairly short drive to the city, good size rooms, clean, friendly and helpful staff, good for kids.

Carpark was not large enough for the amount of guests at the hotel.

Facilities were spotless and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. Cobb's at the station is a good local eatery ( take the car if you are not great walkers) varied menu, friendly student staff. The I robots taking out the plates of food fun to see.

It was situated quite a walk from Octagon restaurants passed student accomodation. We took the car after that.

The room was spacious and good for hanging out for a couple nights. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Little kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast and reheat some food.

The hotel is close to college housing and we could hear some noise at night from parties. This is no fault of the motel, but wanted to mention it.

It’s just adjacent to the Botanical Gardens and I enjoyed walking there every morning. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

The room was a bit dim.
