Nice Motel, a little out of town, but one of the quietest ones I have stayed at in a while. It is kind of in the country and there is no road noise at all. Nice touch that the master bed and the other beds had a little wall separating them, even though I had only booked a studio. The biscuits and chocolate went down a treat as well. I would stay here again. All units are single level and there is parking right outside your door.

Nothing really. I missed having a couch to sit on, but there was not anywhere in the room to put one - wasn't a biggie

The room was very comfortable for us , with a small kitchenette for a week stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, coming in to turn our heater on at the end of the day ready for our return. The room was exceptionally clean.

We were at the door with a smile and a friendly owner, we felt welcome immediately. The room was roomy and exceptionally clean and the facilities were like new. Will definitely be staying again when we visit our family without hesitation.

Good sized room. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Very large TV with Sky (if you like that sort of thing). Friendly owners. Some nice touches like chocolates and cookies in the room.

No wardrobe - just hangers in the room - so not suitable longer stays. Truck stop so expect to be woken at 6am if you are a light sleeper.

I’m from an area of NZ where our motels have swimming pools, so missed the ability to have a swim ( don’t like swimming in salt water)

Everything it was so peaceful & restful We have told several friends about Celtic Motel in Foxton. I can't fault it. The bed was very comfortable and I know about beds, I like a good bed and a good shower n toilet. Thanks thanks thanks. 😊

It was 200 meters from Highway one and close to the Dutch Molen restaurant and Foxtons fish and chip shop, both of them excellent. We took our fish and chips down to Foxton beach and watched the sun set. Our main like was our lovely hosts Leslie and Psul who wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it was.

We were greeted on arrival then taken to our room to be shown where everything was and how things like the heater and tv worked. We were told how it was going to be a cold night so make sure we turn the heater on to keep warm. Everything was so clean and tidy, it made you feel very welcome. Will be staying there again ☺️

Well maintained and very clean motel. Quiet location. Just perfect for our needs

I did not like the big pillows on the bed. A choice of thick and hard and thin and soft would be great 😃 The beds were very good

The owners and staff were very attentive to our comfort. We would definitely stay with them if we were ever in that town again.
