My daughter and I had a fabulous stay! Was modern and affordable. 4 towels for 2 of us, full handflowing soap not fixed to the wall, dishwashing liquid that was not watered down. It was the little things that made you feel like valued guests! We stayed at another Hamilton motel last weekend for an appointment, and although nice, it was dearer and definitely more tired. We don't come to Hamilton often but....... I would be tempted to visit again soon and do local activities knowing I have found a nice modern, affordable place to stay that values their customers! Excellent big space for car parking 😊

Nothing really....... If i had to say something i would say a slightly softer bed but..... I guess that one's always going to be a hard one to please with so many different people.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Answer the phone quick. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed for a one night stay. Quiet environment which was nice. Curtains blackout the room. Layout of room was good. Walk in shower is always appreciated.

Nothing that we did not like. Price point is great, pretty much what you can expect AND more. EXCELLENT.

The outside of the building does not do the inside of the building justice. It was very well appointed. I would have expected to pay much more to stay in a motel than what they charged.

There is a bit of trepidation about staying at a motel on Ulster St. due to a significant amount of emergency accommodation. The stay at Auto Lodge is well worth it though. The rooms are large, very clean and well-equipped. Great value for money.

I found the location very central even though it is situated on main road was very quiet I will be very happy to recommend Auto Lodge and will certainly stay there again thank you

I was very satisfied

Our room in Auto Lodge was fantastic. We expected it to be small as classed as a studio, but it felt spacious, and we could certainly stay longer than the one night we had booked if needed. We were especially impressed with the design of the studio - having a long bench doubling as a desk and eating area was an excellent use of space - there was also loads of room underneath this bench as well as a long suitcase shelf so if staying longer with more luggage we would not have been cramped. There was also a decent sized wardrobe. The kitchen was simple and well laid out with ample bench space making it easy to prepare our own meal. Bed was very comfortable as were the dining/office chairs and the two armchairs. Car parking was plentiful and roomy. The unit was clean and relaxing, and we felt very welcome when dealing with the owner/staff. We have travelled a lot over the years, mainly in N.Z. but more recently in UK and Europe and Auto Court would be one of the most practical, comfortable and best places we have stayed in.

I liked the assortment of different thickness pillows to suit head support comfort for each individual. Same for duvet versus ordinary blankets. Duvet always make me feel hot and sweaty, nice there was a wool blanket I could swap it with. Good to know where to go to a place I can stay in comfort whenever I come back to Hamilton. You are doing a good job.

The only thing that maybe can be improved was clarity on the final big O of the Wi-Fi password. It took me a while to work out that the final O on the Wi-Fi password wasn’t a capital O but a number O to get me connected to the Wi-Fi.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-run place to stay.

Where do I start - Shower in room is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kitchenette in rooms with tea, coffee, milk and cookies supplied ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Bed, pillows, TV, air con and seats in room also ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Value for Money at this Motel , you guessed it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Best Motel I have ever stayed in, and that’s saying something, as we have stayed in a fair few over the past 8 years of traveling. I booked this based on other people’s reviews and this place did not disappoint. Thanks for having us for our two day stay. I would highly recommend this Motel to anyone going to New Zealand and visiting Hamilton.

I didn’t like some of the negativity people have written about this place, they must be living under a rock or are never happy anywhere. Most of the Motels are on the busy street of Ulster St in Hamilton. We did not hear much street noise. We had room 22. Thankfully I only looked at the positives about this place.
