A+ for cleanliness, furnishing and consumables were top quality. Use of rustic window frame between bathroom and bedroom was exquisite and added the right depth of character. Bed was extra large and very comfortable. Complimentary beers from local brewery was a delightful surprise, while we celebrated our anniversary and staff were welcoming and professional. I personally loved the soft music and decor placed throughout the corridors and common areas, we will be staying again

The only critique I can give is towel rails weren't heated but easily forgivable with other high end touches achieved within the space

Comfortable beds, very clean and modern. Able to do own breakfast in room with own provisions - there was crockery and cutlery to do this which was good and what I expected from a studio room.

Room felt a bit cramped - a lot in the room, efficiently stored (e.g. fold out ironing board in a drawer). But was expecting a studio to be a bit more roomy. This was really a hotel room, not a studio. Location of studios overlooking the restaurant atrium below - stereo noise (boom boom boom) from there until quite late at night and first things in the morning (8am-ish on a Sunday morning when they opened up), although able to somewhat block it out with two windows and a door over the windows (to block light and sound). However, the bass can still be felt/heard in the room. Particularly found this irritating because we were there for Womad and had a full day of music and booming, really wanted a room that was quiet.

Title: A Beautiful Stay! My husband & I recently stayed and I must say, the room was absolutely beautiful! The decor was elegant and inviting. The amenities provided were also top-notch, ensuring a relaxing experience throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The attention to detail along with the beautiful restaurants .

Great little boutique hotel in the heart of the city, the location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The hotel is situated in a complex of very nice eateries, coffee and retail shops and when you check in you get a booklet of discounts for all these shops. Parking is first in first served basis at the hotel which is secure or you can buy undercover parking for $30. You can hire E bikes but they also have push bikes available at no cost. The rooms are larger than standard hotel rooms and are well designed with seperate WC and hidden closet and furnished in Moroccan style, very comfortable and unpretentious.

Very nicely appointed premium room, with small kitchen area, balcony, sitting area and comfortable king bed. Very clean, and lovely reception staff. Parking space I’d reserved was kept for us as agreed. Good location in the centre of NP. You get a book of vouchers to use at the various restaurants and bars the Suites are affiliated with - we used a few of these and had varying degrees of experience, some good, some less good. But handy to find nearby places for dinner. Loved the complementary laundry facilities - a godsend when travelling. Would stay again.

Nothing really - apart from some of the affiliated businesses being a bit less good than advertised. Possibly personal taste, so don’t want exaggerate this aspect. Just worth considering other options if you can.

The room was great - larger than expected and very comfortable. The hotel has an association with many local attractions and restaurants so provide discount vouchers which was great. Staff were extremely helpful. It was within easy walking distance of the town.

We paid $30 per night for reserved parking - but we didn't realise that there appeared to also be unreserved hotel parking. I think we would have liked to have known this before confirming the parking. That being said, it was good to know you always had a space.

The location was great and our Business Suite was just right. The bed was super comfortable and very clean. There were tea and coffee available and we were told of places nearby for eating. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly.

There was a safe in the suite which was very secure and I was grateful for. However it was located on an overhead cupboard and I had to balance on a chair to reach it. Not ideal for a pensioner but perhaps management could consider a lower location.

Wonderful little gem of a hotel, so pleased we stopped off here during our North Island road trip. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a sea view. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The interior design is very quirky which just adds to the charm of the hotel. The adjoining West End Precinct provides all the restaurants and bars guests require, which also offers a room service option.
