The location is perfect if you look for a quiet place but want to be close to the beach(es), restaurants, shops (including a small local market). The hotel was recently refurbished so it was very clean and the cleaning service was also great. The room was spacious for a family of 4, kitchen well equipped for breakfast or small meals. I would definitely come back, we had a fantastic stay.

Coffee machine in the room could have been upgraded to a capsule machine or, I would be very happy to pay for a nice coffee in the reception (but unfortunately the coffee there wasn't great).

Location excellent, 2 minute walk to the beach. People have mentioned ‘very steep’ steps - we didn’t find them very steep at all. Also plenty of restaurants, shops & supermarket within easy reach. I am totally confused by all of the reviews saying Clube Maria Luisa is at the bottom of a long hill! You barely notice it is a hill onto the main road of bars/restaurants. People also mentioned staff being rude - everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. Lovely quiet, family friendly resort. 2 bed apartments immaculate. Great pool area and beach access is unbeatable.

Kitchen facilities limited - just a hob and microwave and one small cupboard to keep any food in so don’t think you could do fully self-catered. Not enough storage/hooks to hang things on in rooms. Mirrors in bedrooms would be useful. Cleaning service hit & miss - turned up at 5ish twice - not a convenient time. Missed us totally on our last night.

Compact and clean air-conditioned apartment with everything my daughter and I needed for a short break. Balcony overlooked the well maintained pool area which had clean and comfortable loungers. Everything we needed in the small kitchen; smart TV in the lounge; comfortable beds; very peaceful environment. A short walk to the small, clean, secluded Maria Luisa beach. We didn't have a cooked breakfast, so can't comment on the quality; but the rest of the options were fine, and frequently replenished.

Apartment information received prior to stay indicated we would have a balcony and terrace. We had a small balcony. Adequate for the needs of two of us, but would have been a bit cramped for four and impossible for six (apartment had two double rooms and a double sofa bed in lounge).

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the beach and super close to convenient amenities like supermarkets and shops. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay: warm, friendly, and always ready to help. We even left something behind in the room after we checked out, and they were incredibly kind and efficient in helping us get it back overseas. Truly impressive service. Highly recommended!

Great location, very clean and friendly staff

The AC wasn’t powerful enough to feel it working.

• Parking: We travelled by car and the property was easy to find via GPS coordinates. Free parking was available in the hotel car park. • Keys: Check-in was quick and easy, and we got the keys from the receptionist who was kind and welcoming. • First impression: The whole property was spacious and clean with swimming pools in the centre of the circular structure. There was a lift at the far end, but we took the stairs as it was just one floor, • Kitchen & Bathroom: The kitchen was very well equipped with a kitchen sink, microwave, fridge and cooking utensils, etc. The bathroom too was clean and spacious, with a bathtub and good hot water. As we were four in the family, we had to wait for the hot water tank to heat up before the next person could shower, but it was not a problem at all as we were in no hurry at all. • Bedroom: The apartment was large and spacious, with a luxurious feel. The bedroom had a large bed with good supply of blankets in the wardrobes. There was a sofa with a pull-out bed underneath it in the living room. The linen was clean and the beds were comfortable.. • Amenities: There was free wifi but it was quite slow as Netfix was not streaming, a lounge area with pool table, and swimming pool (which was not being used as it was December). There was the facility to pay for breakfast, and ability to mingle with the other guests and easy access to the nearby beach. • Conclusion: We just needed a comfortable accommodation for the night for a family of four, and this property met all our expectations, and we would be happy to stay there on our next visit.

I liked staff help, I asked them to print out my boarding pass and they had no problem with it. They initially didn’t provide iron I had to ask twice , no complains just writing this so that they can improve their service. Overall good maintained property. They fulfilled all my pre requests that I made during my booking. Staff was very helpful.

Two things: again telling this so that the ow era can improve their services. I do not mean to in necessarily criticise. 1) breakfast was not very good, very less variety, and refills were mostly for crosswinds and nothing else. They were charging €8 per adult but I felt the quantity and quality of breakfast didn’t meet the expectation. After two days we prepared our own. Real fast. 2) on the last day we noticed that cleaning lady was using the mob to clean the inside of the toilet (commode). This is very very unhygenic. I felt very bad when I saw this. As rest of thnx e toilet was mopped with the same thing. Please instruct your cleaning staff not to do this. Someone can catch an disease eorh this practise

Great location. Beach very close. Superb 2 bed family room with own rooftop area lovely views I asked for Valentine’s Day package which was superb as when we arrived in room we had love hearts everywhere a delicious cake and some sparkling wine and many beautiful balloons all for €35 !

A small point or two - maybe somewhere to drain cutlery / utensils etc once washed in sink and also lack of hooks to hang things in bathroom and on doors

it was a fantastic place and I would go again but it lacks a proper bar not a big one just maybe beer on draft and a proper place to have food as we had 3 children and maybe just a little section of the reception to have burgers , pizzas, chips etc . everyone I spoke to at the hotel said it would be nice to have a little bar and restaurant so the people staying there wouldn’t have to leave the apartments and go look for food . yous would make a fortune if yous had this . but it’s still a fabulous place

Very clean and great location. Only a short walk to the beach. Everyone was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. The heating for this time of the year was great.

The cleaning service was always very late during the day. Most days around 4-5 o clock and that’s when we were back in our room. Unfortunately the bedsheets were not very comfortable.
