This place had so much to offer that there really was no need to go far which is great with small kids. Our kids loved it as did we. Apartments are spacious and well layed out with everything you really need. The transfer service is easy to set up from the airport to and form as well as the old town and provided carseats the whole time. Totally stress free.

The only thing I might mention is that the bar food at the pool as lovely as it was would be nice if they offer veg/fruit of sorts or healthier options rather than just fried food. We had our kids there all day and there wasn't much option for some fresh fruit for our 1, 3 and 5 year olds. The was really it. Everything else was great.

Very good location, close proximity to the beach and the center of the city. Plenty of dining options at the hotel and in the vicinity. We stayed at the Apartments but you are permitted access to other properties such as Alfagar Village as well. Special shoutout to the Buganvilia restaurant which we visited multiple times as both the food and service there was exceptional. Plenty of options for entertaining the kids too. Magic shows, open mic nights, a football field, dedicated kids pool with slides, outdoor play areas etc

Couple of quirks such as having to pay 5 Euros for a beach/pool towel rental. Also when they say ‘heated pool’ it wasn’t the pool itself that was heated but the structure (which resembles a greenhouse) that is heated so the feel was of a sauna which also houses a rather cold swimming pool. One big disappointment was the buffet dining restaurant (Oliveria I think was the name). We went for the Asian night but were utterly disappointed. Food quality was more akin to cheap Asian takeout. Worst part however was the cutlery. The glasses in particular had a horrible smell to them.

It had everything and was in a great location. Great for kids and families and close to the main areas for going out too

Absolutely love this resort. It’s in a great location and has everything you could possibly need onsite. Staff are all so lovely and helpful everywhere you go. The restaurants are fab and serve a wide variety of food. Great entertainment for kids throughout the day and in the evening.

I was shocked at how there are no lifeguards present in any of the pools. The main pool is quite deep in the centre and I would consider it very dangerous for smaller kids because it gets deep suddenly. During the busy summer months I definitely feel a lifeguard should be on duty.

I loved the view from the balcony and the location. I thought that the beach near the hotel was better than the famous Praia do Camilo, at least during the time we visited at the end of June. I also liked the mini market/store they have at the facilities, which comes in handy when you need something or want some snacks. This is a very kid-friendly hotel, so it was ideal for our family vacation.

My family didn't like that the pool closed too early at 7 pm. You won't find food late at night at the hotel, so be prepared to go elsewhere to eat. A couple of items were taken from our lounge chairs while we were in the pool, and that was unexpected.

Very quite location near to new town which is couple of miles away. Rooms were clean and to my expectation. Pools were very good. Beach view from room is fantastic but beach is at a distance from resort. Again there are many beaches to view nearby.

1. Aparthotel buffet dinner and breakfast area was very near to the toilets with open doors and smell most of the time when having dinner or breakfast or passing by. 2. Requested for tissue paper/toilet rolls on reception at 22:00 as nearby markets closed and was reassured that will be delivered but did not hear anything till morning.

The range of facilities for a family break was excellent. Nothing too much trouble and the huge number of pools, bars and restaurants was outstanding. The range of food in the main dining area buffet was so excellent we generally did that both for breakfast and dinner. An amazing all round break. This is the 10 the year we have been and we love it.

Some guests would leave their towels to grab a lounger then wander off for hours leaving many guests without somewhere to lie down. Disrespectful and just plain rude.

Great facilities, family friendly, very clean, staff very helpful. Access to the beach. Old town a few mins in a taxi. Shop on site small but has all the basics reasonably priced. Apartments were well equipped and very clean

lovely hotel. loads of swimming pools to choose from so super handy for kids. It was a bit cooler when we went so the outdoor covered pool was a nice touch. 2 nice restaurants which we ate at twice, food was good. reception staff were very friendly. apartment was a really good size and well equipped to cook basic meals. they also have little common areas in the hallways where people that are leaving leave all sorts of handy stuff like pool floats, buckets, balls, suncream and books etc so well worth checking these areas before buying new!! I would definitely return.

there was only one outdoor light on the balcony, which was outside the bedroom rather than the sitting room end. my daughter tripped over the tile to carpet bits in the hallway quite a bit, so this may need looking at.

Very nice apartment with fantastic view (we stayed at 5th floor) and good selection in breakfast buffey.

Only negative for us was that we have 2 teenagers with us and the pool table and pingpong was not working, and you need to pay extra to use entertainment stuff, also for the tennis court. And to use the Sauna, it cost extra and you need to book at the reception (it is not good enough to call from your room) pick up keys later in the reception before you enter the Sauna (and the reception is in other house) and return at the reception which was both time-consuming and uncomfortable (3 times at the reception to use the Sauna and 2 times in your rope). Anyway I hope the hotel finds a better solution for that and entertainment for kids and teenagers, because the hotel is very nice :)
