We were very happy with the Hotel, all the staffs were very nice, from the manager, to the reception and to the Shuttle bus drivers. Portuguese hospitality at its finest. We arrived around 10am since we had an early flight. We were expecting to leave our luggage in the reception but then they told us to wait for an hour and our room will be ready. We had our breakfast and my son dipped into the pool while waiting :) We also love the villa we stayed, if only we could stay longer. Its a quiet location but not far from all the amenities. Also the "all inclusive" is highly recommended, plenty of food and choices. Our family will be back next year for sure, Thanks to Tiago, Richard, and Marcelo and all the staffs that I did not get the names :)

The sense of family owned . I had been there 10 years ago with my husband and it was just so relaxing. Was a bit sceptical about having to pay €300 refundable deposit but to be honest I can see why it’s in place. The holiday club is extreme value for money and if the €300 scares people off then it’s for a good reason. The Balaia Sol should be very proud of their bar and pool staff and especially the night porter my two little girls took a shine to him

The noise at times! Being a young family the children were in bed for 10pm but the tiling on the corridor floors meant the voices and walking were amplified at 2/3am . As previously mentioned the €300 was a bit steep especially for a widowed mum of two small kids but I totally agree with it being in place however I would suggest owners discretion be put in place and not charge returning guests.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean. Staff is very friendly. This was my first holiday abroad, and I was not disappointed. It's about 15 min. walk to the town centre. We booked Uber a few times, and it was between 3-4Euros one way. Albufeira is worth visiting, and the Balaia Sol Holiday Club is a great place to stay. Despite very noisy neighbours, I will still rate this place as 5 stars, but I would definitely suggest for the owners to make a rule that after 10-11pm.the noise should be kept to the minimum. At the end of the day, we are all different, and it's absolutely fine. However, we should think about others too. And we should treat people how we would like to be treated by others. 2 Happy Customers.

Noisy neighbours

Lovely studio apartment set in a small family run holiday club. Beautiful well maintained gardens. Staff were all friendly and acknowledged us every time we passed. Plenty of Sun loungers, nice pool to cool down. Well stocked bar/restaurant. Greeted every night by the night watchman. Short walk in Albufeira or plenty of Ubers/Bolts available. 100% recommend.

Location was great! 10 min drive to old town and 5 to the new town, staff were very friendly especially at the bar by the pool, food there was also really good, however cleaners came quite early and unlocked our door multiple times when we were still sleeping which then woke us up, other than that the place is great, definitely recommend to anyone planning on coming to Albufeira!

The whole set up was amazing: portuguese style with Mediterranean flowering plants making beautiful arches, all the details like decoration on the walls, ceramic pots with plants, all made me feel like I'm away from the place I live. Felt like I'm in traditional Portuguese village.

Can't really complain about anything to be honest, every place has some bad points, this one had a couple too, but so little and meaningless that is not worth mentioning

It was a beautiful place realy clean and tidy my only complaint was the shower wasn't high enough to stand under other than that room was good staff were very nice and helpful the only other thing was the drink prices were a bit high aswell but we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful setting so thank you I wouldn't rule out coming back xx

The accommodation is situated in a peaceful location, within easy reach of the busy areas. During our stay the temperature was too hot to walk to the strip, previous reviews had recommended the Uber app. We found this a reasonably priced, reliable way to get around. The studio we stayed in was roomy with a lovely view. We found the staff to be friendly and willing to help when required. We were very happy with the accommodation and would stay again if we travelled to Albufeira with a desire to stay in a property slightly out of town. Thank you
