The room was like a mini suite with large balcony and the breakfast buffet incredible. The hotel serves no alcohol and this was the first time I have come across a dry hotel with a bar serving mocktails and juices. While I had wanted a glass of wine with my lunch, it was not a problem, and I'm putting the fact the hotel is dry as a positive because there were plenty of bars in the area and lots of people don't want to be around alcohol. Also with a 24h restaurant a bar serving alcohol could have meant drunkenness and anti-social behaviour.

Apart from a free 20 minutes per stay, you have to pay for the pool, gym and spa area, minimum €15 for 2 hours. I arrived from the airport around 10 am and as I had planned, spent four hours (cost €20) in the pool and spa area (which was lovely) before I was able to check in at 3 pm. One of the reasons for choosing the hotel was the pool so it was a little disappointing not to have free access.

The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable with no issues. Breakfast was great with a wide range of options. The location is good, a ten minute taxi from the airport.

The hotel advertises a spa. The spa is okay with a nice jacuzzi and pool however staff allowed children to use the pool, with parents watching from the reception area. The children were noisy and were jumping in and out of the pool with one also slipping and hurting themselves. A spa should be somewhere to relax and unwind, not a place for children to run riot and scream and shout. The spa staff did nothing about this and said the parents had paid for them. If being used by children it should be advertised as a swimming pool not a spa.

This hotel honestly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere gave me pure 5‑star vibes. Everything felt modern, stylish, and welcoming. The kind of place that makes you feel instantly relaxed and taken care of. The staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the whole experience felt like luxury without the hefty price tag. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, and to top it off, we even had a balcony where we could unwind and take in the views. It was such a lovely touch that made our stay feel even more special.. The spa facilities added an extra layer of relaxation and the overall ambiance of the hotel was calm and refreshing, perfect after long days of exploring Lisbon. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels, but MASA really stands out. I left feeling both pampered and well-rested, and I’d come back without hesitation.

The only minor issue was that the phone in our room wasn’t working. We reported it, but it wasn’t fixed before we left. Honestly, it didn’t really bother me since we had a second room with a working phone, and the hotel exceeded expectations in every other way. They even replenished our bottles of water daily, which I really appreciated.

Beautiful, clean, well located. And even with some construction happening outside and planes passing by quite often, noose was not an issue at all. Great staff, super friendly and one of the fastest check ins I’ve done.

I wish I would have know about the Halal bar and the lack of alcoholic beverages.

Loved this hotel. It's modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Purposely picked a place a little away from the centre and this was a great choice. Nice neighbourhood with Campo Grande across the road - if you like a morning stroll or run before breakfast, Campo Grande is perfect and you won't be alone! Breakfast was really good and available until 11 - love that, meant had time to exercise beforehand. The staff were excellent throughout the hotel - at reception, at breakfast and in the gym. The room was great with a decent balcony. The gym in the basement is small but has excellent equipment - I had hard-core workouts on two mornings. I didn't try the pool/wellness but it looks good (costs 10 Euros). The location is close to a small shopping centre with a good selection of restaurants and a decent supermarket. The Metro is right beside it, Alvalade station, brings you straight into the middle of Lisbon in 15 mins. Likewise, the airport is very easily reached from Alvalade with one change at Alameda. If there's not much traffic, a taxi will get you to the airport from the hotel in about 10 mins., I was told - did not try it. As other reviewers have mentioned, planes do fly over the hotel regularly but it didn't have any impact at all on my sleep - good-quality windows. And you can capture excellent shots of planes, if that kind of thing appeals to you! I snapped a few.

This is a brand new hotel with a fabulous entrance, the staff at reception were really helpful and kind, the duty Manager Karen was also very friendly and professional due to a issue on the swimming pool facilities caused by a staff member called SONIA, she was still on trainings when stayed at the hotel when she decided to be rude towards me and my friend.

The staff member called SONIA was very unprofessional and rude, she ruined my Stay at the hotel and made me feel discriminated despite ignoring me and walking away when i questioned her why she was so rude ? This is beyond acceptable, kindly take the right measurements for this particularly staff member in probation. I don’t think i would like to use the Spa facilities if this staff member going to be there.

Beautiful hotel with Spa facilities I can’t get enough of this place seriously it’s so wonderful. I would like to thank Mr. Eduardo Lutonario, Mr. Luan Sousa, Miss Margarida Tavares and Miss Leticia Emanuel for going extra mile during my stay these staff members have showed me so much empathy and kindness great customer service skills!

Receptionist Staff members Maria Carolina pinto & Isabel which I don’t have her full name have made me feel discriminated and very uncomfortable the way they approached me as a guest of the hotel, not a bit customer service skills very awful this is very disappointing I felt sick to my stomach, overall my stay was pretty good apart from being discriminated by these two staff members which is unacceptable.

Friendly staff that went out of their way to assist. Breakfasts were superb with an extensive offering. Absolutely loved my stay. Extremely well located, clean, modern and fresh. Amazing Spa and extra bonus of being able to use the facilities for 20 min. (Jacuzzi included). I would most definitely recommend this hotel as value for money, in every way imaginable. From the staff, to the food, to the modern, clean and fresh bedrooms. Fortunately Masa Hotel is a 6 minute walk to the Metro with very easy and quick access to Marques De Pombal, the central location for the Hop on and Hop off Busses to all the sights seeing your heart will delight in. I would advice the Red Bus Line by Grayline Company. Reasonable ticket prices and luxurious bus.

Very welcoming staff, good breakfast and well located (close to the airport and good bus and metro connections for exploring Lisbon by public transport). We arrived early and were able to leave our bags until the room was ready. Spa was a nice addition although the pool is very small and in the basement. Luckily we were the only ones there when we visited.

Being on the flight path and a main road meant it was quite noisy (especially with the windows open) and the lobby area was often very busy with groups arriving/departing. The room was also a bit cramped with three beds, but overall the positives outweighed the negatives. The pool/spa charge is a little steep (10/EUR per person per day) given the size).

The second time we stayed at the Masa hotel was just for a night, since we had a flight early next day. The breakfast was great and diverse as usual. The sauna and gym always available and not to crowded I did enjoy my time here.

We requested a late check-out so our daughter could take her usual nap before our flight. Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was disappointing. The first person we spoke to was unhelpful and simply told us to "come back tomorrow" without offering any guidance. When we followed up the next day, the response was still unsympathetic. We were told the hotel was fully booked and that no exceptions could be made, with little effort to find a solution. As a result, my wife had to walk to the airport with our daughter so she could nap there—a frustrating and avoidable situation that put a damper on our stay.
