The hotel is in a very good location without being downtown. The metro is only 4 minutes away by foot from the hotel, and getting to the center of the city is very quick and easy. There are many bus options as well, among those the one that can take you to Belem. It feels more of a local area, with some nice places to eat around. In addition to that, the staff was great! They were very welcoming and helpful when we needed them to print something for us. The quality of the room was good for the price and had everything that we needed.

For the price we paid, we were asked for additional taxes - it was OK and a 70 lira guarantee returnable within 2 weeks of handing over the room. Upon handing over, everything was ok, confirmed. The money was not returned even after almost 3 weeks. They blamed it on the banking system but it's not true. It could have been a successful vacation, but it left a bitter taste! AE.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Turim Iberia Hotel as a solo female traveler. I felt safe and well looked after throughout my stay. My room was regularly tidied, and I barely experienced any noise disturbance, which made for a peaceful retreat. Despite being just 15 minutes from the airport, the location was relatively quiet, providing a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore the area. The continental breakfast offered a lovely balance of food, although I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the fruit selection. One feature I particularly liked was the free bottle of water provided in the room, along with the hotel’s modern design, which added a nice touch to my overall experience.

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was not without its issues. I encountered a significant problem when I got stuck in the lift, the alarm bell did not work. Although I reported this I am unsure action was taken to resolve this matter. Additionally, I experienced a crackling sound coming from the air vent at 2 AM, which woke me up and disrupted my sleep. These incidents detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay.

There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel to have diner at. There is only room service.

Clean, big room, friendly staff

We waited for 1 whole hour just to check in. This is by far the longest I’ve ever waited for a check in and I’ve been to a lot of hotels. There were only 2 people before us but it took incredibly long for the staff to check in. If I knew I’m gonna wait this long in line after a tiresome flight I’d just have picked another hotel. Other than that it was nice.

The room was comfortable and had a kettle (but no tea bags!) and a mini fridge. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The food was plentiful, well displayed, fresh and tasty. The breakfast staff were friendly and attentive and I love their neat, professional appearance. The layout and decor of the breakfast room is beautiful.

The view is mediocre. There are only two plug points in the bedroom and neither of them is beside the bed and neither of them has USB ports. The doorman and the reception staff are bland and lack warmth and friendliness.

No restaurant on site which is fine as menu in room for takeaway service, when you are too tired to go out. Food was good but took longer than the half hour as advertised to arrive. We would have ordered again if there had been more choice. But plenty of good restaurants nearby to choose from.

WiFi quality is just awful. It’s unstable and has a very high packets loss ratio, like 10-15%. My room didn’t have central lights
