Honestly, there was nothing to not like. The room was wonderful, the view was spectacular, and the owners were lovely people. Forgot the pool & and deck. also clean and great setting. We arrived at 4pm seated into our room, bought a bottle if wine, then went down for tapas that were cooked and served by the family. Very enjoyable and finished off with a glass of their port after a bottle of red. Great view, excellent value, and perfect location to tour the Douro Valley and relax on the property too.

We loved everything. I did see comments about the tight turn and road up to the property, but honestly, it wasn't bad at all.

It was a little nice quinta, quiet and peaceful with lovely surroundings. It was very hot so very nice to take a dip in the pool and relax at the terrace with the stunning view at the douro river and the hills with the wineyards. The rooms was clean and very nice. Staff/the family was so kind and friendly and proud of their products. We choose to have dinner at the terrase with lovely view over douro and peso da Régua. They made a very nice tapas with homemade things and we had their own wine. Thank you for a very nice evening and stay😘👌

I wanted to book a winetasting but got the message the same day we should arrive and it was too late. I have allready booked wine and olivetasting on another quinta because we were 4 people coming and I want to book it in advance to be sure.

From the moment we arrived we were awestruck! Greeted by Maria who’s English is very good and as we arrived late they offered us tapas and their home made wine - what more could you ask for! The view of the Douro River and town below from our room was amazing. The room itself was large, airy and comfortable. The breakfast was continental and included home baked pastries and jams. It was just so enjoyable eating this while looking out across the valley. This family owned and run Quinta is absolutely perfect for a Portuguese experience, while the owners don’t speak English but they are incredibly friendly and make every effort to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They even provided an early breakfast when we had to leave before 8am which was very appreciated. The location is high up and a little way from town but that give a peaceful outlook and amazing views. The drive is steep but the parking at the top is flat with turning space.

Amazing place. Spectacular views, lovely owners, wonderful breakfasts, great room and super pool. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend the tapas in the evening with a bottle of their own wine and a glass of port. One of the best places we have ever stayed in. You can walk down to the town in 35 mins and there are plenty of taxis either at the railway station or outside the market to take you back up again.

We had an amazing stay! The place was beautiful, with clean and spacious rooms that felt really comfortable. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. One highlight was their excellent in-house wine, which we really enjoyed. We honestly loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back next time we are in Portugal. Highly recommended! The views from the room we booked and property are exactly as represented in the listing. Sweeping views of the river and valley. You are surrounded by vineyards, and even though you are close to Peso da Regua, you feel like you’re out in the country. The owners/managers were so warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless and comfortable. They make their own wine and jams there, and we bought a delicious bottle of 26 year old port from them. The breakfast and coffee was good. The views from the pool are stunning and it’s so quiet and relaxing out there. I will definitely stay here again!

Not a negative, necessarily, just be advised you need a car or taxi to get from the property to Peso da Regua. It would be quite difficult to walk there mainly because the roads are narrow, winding, and it would be uphill coming back. If you plan to wine taste or drink in town, a taxi or Uber might be advisable.

Best view of the Douro River and rolling hills. Very chill, relaxed place. Room spacious and very clean. Pool is refreshing, and great views from the pool area, too. Staff is friendly and helpful and it’s a family-owned and managed place. Very authentic Douro Valley experience!

The driveway is very steep, so be careful driving at night! Maybe take a taxi or a Uber if you go out to dinner.

Room and bathroom were large, newly renovated with good ac and awesome views. Owners and service were outstanding. The best location in all of Regua if you ask me. Pool was amazing after a hot day in the valley. Owners prepared us a delicious tapas/ dinner on the property upon request. The breakfast was included and equally delicious. Homemade yogurt jams honey . Small , exclusive and an amazing find.

Google map directions were off. The street we were supposed to take was blocked by construction. We found an alternative way in and out Would help if clear directions were included from the property owner.

The breakfast was abundant. We had our individual servings on our table. The local produce was a delight, especially the jams. Being a vineyard, they have their own wine for tasting and for sale as well. Unfortunately, it was not part of our itinerary, and we did opt for a tasting session for other reasons.

The view was stunning, sitting in the balcony at night overlooking the city in the quietness of the countryside was blissful. The bed was extremely comfortable, a hard mattress that will keep your back in place. The swimming pool is a great touch, albeit a bit too small if there is a “full house”. The breakfast was great with the view, once again, blissful.

There were rules about strict “no eating” in the bedroom, which it seemed strange when the only food they provide is “tapas” and you need to tell them in advance. If you arrive to the property late, make sure you eat before arrival.
