Very handy for the railway station, and close to the main street. Simple check in, room a little basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices OK with usual standard buffet, no hot food, but toaster and sandwich toaster provided which was good as I could make my own toasted sandwiches. For anybody in the area make sure to take a train trip along the scenic Douro Valley, the best bits are east of Regua, although the views going west as far as Marco are also very nice

Clean and comfortable room with efficient air conditioning and ideally suited to anyone like me wanting to travel the remarkable Douro railway line as the station is next door to the hotel.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing with inedible looming fruit and no salad items or eggs.

It was a modern hotel but showing signs of aging. For the price, including a good breakfast, it was right on par with other hotels. The surrounding area was a town used to seeing lots of tourists, so I’m glad the price was not inflated.

We just stayed over here for a night because we had some wine tastings booked in the area. Since the price was a bargain I didn't expect much but I have to say this place was incredible. The staff were so friendly and everything was really clean. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the Duoro Valley

The hotel is older but the room was large and very clean. The breakfast was a bonus for the price of the hotel and was very sufficient.

The television was quite small and so far from the bed that it made it inadequate to see.

Hotel right by the quaint railway station and river..very quiet and a lovely room with plenty of space and nice bath... Breakfast had a good choice and there was a large patio with excellent views..the host was friendly and was fluent in English... top marks!

Didn't like having to leave there!

Weak wifi in room but better in the common area Lumpy pillow, shower box filled due to blockage probably. Thin walls so could be noisy if neighbours inconsiderate

Near to train station. Decent breakfast provided. Was able to leave luggage earlier and check in a little earlier. Bath and a shower and plentiful hot water .

No lift but manager helped me with my case which was really appreciated. Bed hard and pillows lumpy and bumpy. Didn't sleep great.

Location, service, price..and with breakfast included? Wow..a good one at that with a patio overlooking the river..special

It's noisy being on the road..but then again even the pricy hotel across the street must have some issue..both being on the main road.,but it's location right by the water and by the train is perfect I'l be back

It is a little aged but very comfortable and clean . The breakfast was good and the coffee machine made excellent coffee. Close to the train station. Very reasonable price. Our room (201) was large and had a view of river and interesting traffic circle below where we watched trucks full of grapes 🍇.
